Great environment, in the summer there is plenty of outdoor seating, also be sure to take the boat to the sister restaurant Rumba, their drink selection is amazing read more

I went here the other night; the food was absolutely delicious and the views are great. If you go here, get the sushi & the cookie dessert. What I didn't like was the service... It was rather mediocre. There weren't enough servers, so our server only came over to our table once. I understand that the larger parties need more attention than a couple, but a check in would've been nice. I also didn't like how the Hostesses in cute little dresses were bussing tables. Because the servers were no where to be seen, the hostess was taking our plates away. (Is that in their job description?!) Regardless, the food is great!! read more

Beautiful view and amazing food! Clam chowder is soo good... Baby back ribs excellent and falling off bone...shrimp entree was delicious. Will definitely come back in the summer time to enjoy the out door patio and views. read more

My wife and I decided to take a ride out towards the Hamptons from the area of Dix Hills. After some sight seeing we began to get hungry. Uncertain where to go, we turned to google and searched restaurants in the Hampton area. It supplied several options, one being the Cuddy in Sag Harbor. We found out the hard way they were no longer in business. I looked for another higher stared restaurant when Cowfish popped up. I then put the address information in GPS and headed towards the Cowfish. Yay we made it. We were first greeted by who I can only imagine was the hostess, who with a contagious smile promptly sat us at the perfect table. (great view) We were soon after greeted by our server, Rita. Her professional, warm attitude and love for her job was evident and quite refreshing. We had discussed some menu options and decided to go with the Cowfish burger and the french dip. We had fish earlier in the week and were in the mood for either meat or chicken. So both these items were pretty much what we were looking for. We also talked ourselves into an appetizer, this being the Hummus. We were severed quickly and very pleased with our choice. The bread wedges were nice and hot and the amount of hummus was perfect. Shortly after the appetizer was done, a different waitress came and replaced our silverware with new. Soon after the main course arrived and was cooked to perfection. After spending little to no time devouring our meal, we were approached by the manager, (i'm guessing by his attire) and asked how the meal was and questioned on whether or not we had room for desert. Rita had previously explained the deserts to us, and although they all sounded great, we seldom order desert. However after the manager again described (sold) the different deserts, we went with the banana cream pie. Turns out we did have room and the choice was excellent. The pecan, chocolate and graham cracker crust was a perfect bed to the vanilla bean pudding and the whipped cream cover. This drizzled with caramel and several fresh bananas. Overall I would have to say I am more then pleased with the restaurant as a whole. The atmosphere and the coziness of the restaurant made the dining experience that much better. The staff, the service, the food and the location make this a big hit on my short list of repeat eateries. Thank you all for a pleasant first time experience I won't soon forget. read more

Excellent atmosphere with a fun vibe. Superior menu choices tastefully prepared and presented. Very enjoyable meal!

Came here for double date night! What a gorgeous spot they have! Adorable space, delicious food. A little pricey, but the food was very fresh and it is the Hamptons in the summer. Cocktails were excellent! read more

The best place in the Hamptons! Great food great people great sunsets!!!! Love it and love Eric, Gerald and all the gang!!!!!!!!!!

Had another great experience at Cowfish and booking through Yelp was very easy. We had the sushi to start (such fresh fish!) and the North Fork salad is our favorites. They honored the reservation and were seated right on time! We will see you again this summer! read more

I love this place. Loved it since they first opened! Service and food has not changed top notch ! I recommend Cowfish to all my clients who haven't been here yet. The only issue I have is valet. They always have smart ass comments and every time they move the seats, mirror and radio station ! Your parking a car, a brand new car that has back up cameras. If you need to move things then put them back to how they go and have a better demeanor or get a different job ! My visit ' s here have been less for this reason so it's disappointing. Food, ambiance and food service I give 5 stars ! read more

I got the ahi tuna dish and it was really good. The view was also pretty during brunch as well. My friend got some steak and eggs brunch dish and the steak was cooked and seasoned well read more

It was a very convenient and easy way to book . The team at the restaurant were very pleasant, professional and accomdating. The food was delicious. We would definitely go back. One challenge is the noise level. Servers were off the charts happy, pleasant and attentive! read more

We live in the area and this is a consistent favorite ! I have tried most things on the menu and many of their specials and they always get it right! Favorites are the buffalo shrimp, chowder, scallops, any of the burgers and the chicken. They do a happy hour on weekdays which we frequent for half price apps and a good variety of drinks. Beautiful location overlooking the water with both a deck and an outdoor bar/lawn area. Really a treat and I would recommend if in the area. Bonus, in the summer they offer a boat shuttle to their other location Rumba (another great spot) which is a fun experience in itself. read more

My wife and I visited Cowfish today after having lunch at Sundays in Hampton Bays, and wished we had eaten here instead. The manager offered us an outdoor table overlooking Shinnecock Inlet and brought us complimentary BBQ shrimp to enjoy with our drinks. Smart business! We will be returning later this week. read more

Lovely setting. Great service. My kids had burgers which were fantastic. Fries were amazing. The lobster roll is pricey at $30 but all lobster! I would have split if I knew how big it was. Highly recommend. read more

Reservation or not you always have to wait too long. Even for a late reservation when we see tables sitting unoccupied. Menu is limited, food is just ok. The best thing abount the place is the facility. read more

Great food, great service, great atmosphere!! We chose this restaurant during East End Restaurant Week and we couldn't have been more pleased. Will definitely return. read more

The food & drinks were amazing, but even better than that was our waitress, Rita! She was so much fun & attentive, it made our experience that much better. Can't wait to go back again soon! read more

Cow Fish did a great job renovating the place. The upstairs bar is great. The new bar, not so much. Whomever designed the outside bar knows nothing about bartending. You can fit more people behind the bar then you can outside the bar. And the bartender has to walk very far to get you a drink. I had some food, the shrimp are ok, the sandwich was good. But the Tuna poke that I had ruined my night. That should not be called Sushi. It should be called a mango salad with a piece of raw fish. Not a fan of that one at all... The staff is nice. It looks like they walk around on eggshells and there are plenty of them around. Nice place. Missing something. Oh yeah, who builds a brand new bar and spends all that money, and doesnt put in a tap system. Go there for some very quite times. read more

Great food and service with a beautiful view. The sushi is my favorite! Have to try the Maui wowi roll. If it's you're first time you should try going during the week because it does get very busy on the weekends read more

Gave my table away when I was only 9 minutes later for a reservation. We had a party of 12 that we confirmed on Thursday. At least we are getting comp drinks and apps.... read more

Amazing location with fantastic food. Scallops were to die for. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Always fantastic - food, service and ambiance. Expect to wait on Saturday evenings - unfortunate Hamptons crowd but that's not the restaurants fault! read more

Cowfish is one of my favorite restaurants on Long Island. While I prefer the drinks at Rumba, Cowfish has an amazing bar atmosphere both inside and outside. My favorite part of Cowfish is the sushi they serve during the summer, the cowboy roll specifically. I wish they had it year round! Other favorites of mine include the buffalo shrimp, the scallop entree, and THE BEST cookie dessert ever. My boyfriend gets the french dip sandwich each and every time we go. Its a must try! read more

Quickly becoming my favorite place. Love the deviled eggs (what restaurant serves those?), and the cornbread is just amazing. Best ribs I've had in a long time, and the tourenados for brunch might be my favorite brunch dish ever. Great service, great views. Can't beat it. read more

Consistently one of the best places to eat in the area. Friendly people and fresh creative food. It's nicer on the west side of the canal.

Definitely would come back. Great time. Clam chowder is very thick, salmon was great. Desert cookie was awesome.

I have been here many times. The best view around But that's where it ends. The service is always unorganized and unfriendly. Tables or bar. Same attitude The best was last week. Went there for a late lunch at 2. No one there at the outside bar. Sat at the bar and ordered Lunch. Bartender was harried and asked us to wait for menus Once we ate we could not find the bartender to get the check. We went inside to pay. He came to us and said we should walk upstairs to that bar to pay up there. Just a ridiculous way to treat a customer This is just one example of how this restaurant just misses it. I keep trying because I love the view but there is always too much of this annoying stuff that goes on every time I try read more

Cow fish was recommended by family members that have summered nearby for many years. We loved it , bit of a long wait but one of the owners rolled up on us at the outdoor bar and they seated us upstairs after 5 minutes or so. Wife loved the Rose we had the fried oysters (hot and delicious) and the stuffed mushrooms for starters, we were really happy. She had a piece of salmon (the special with caper) and this fish was not only a generous portion it was impeccably awesome. I had the ribs, holy cow, or holy miss piggy I should say, awesome and incredible , fell off the bone with a very nice relatively spicy sauce. It did not stop there, the chocolate chip cookie in the skillet and the hot fudge sundae were both OMG category. Finally, it's been years since we enjoyed dinner out so much. Highest recommendation! We shall return. read more

Had a good time. Good food with my family. But I forgot to redeem my coupon off my bill. . No big deal , My fault, But i made an small complaint about over spicing, my order. Ive eaten the same order before, and it was not the same. Received a text response about my wanting to know about food issues . But they never followed up as promised.. Kinda disappointed , They were better than this. The most important thing to me is customer service , Plus good choice and tasting food. One out two is not bad. Lowered my rating . read more

Great atmosphere and the boat to rumba was so fun! My friend loved the lobster roll and my salad was great. Would definitely come back. Drinks were strong! read more

One of the better lobster rolls in the area. Bread for the roll was great and really hearty lobster roll but it's higher priced. I didn't like the skinny fries and wish they cared about the fries that goes with it. If you're going to make a great lobster roll, accompany some great fries please. The kids chicken finger meal was also better than other places. We did take out and they forgot some of our items, had to go back and also they couldn't even give utensils standard and we had to ask. So as far as the service for takeout, it made me not want to order again even though the lobster roll was enjoyable read more

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Possibly the best scallops I've ever had and the kale salad is fresh and delicious. Great cocktails and overall wonderful place for a date night or a group outing. read more

Super nice setting, complimentary valet parking and very attentive staff. The food is good enough. The isn't a lot of variety on menu. Hard to have a reasonably priced meal. Sushi good but around $21. For 5 or 6 pieces. Not enough to fill this belly. I had a blackened fish sandwich $17. And a kale salad $7. So add some wine to that meal and we're talking $$$. I'm willing to pay up for upscale dining but this place is not upscale. That is why I opted for the fish sandwich and salad. read more

One of our regular restaurants though going in the warm weather and sitting outside is far superior to the winter. Love their Brussels sprouts! read more

Always a pleasure. Expect to have a drink or two at the bar as a walk in customer on just about any night. For this is not a quick bite place. You will wait to be seated. Handmade drinks are solid. Tap beers are good. Dinner is always of good quality. Room to roam on the property. A boat ride is part of the fun if you choose. Service is fair. For a upscale night off the track, this might be the place for you. read more

Five stars. Never disappointed. Never had better kale salad, oh and the cornbread. Yummy.

Food's good, atmosphere and service better. Great for families. Pirate ship playground overlooking the bay.

Love Cowfish! Table was ready on time, great service and outstanding food
