    My meal

You sold me HALF of a thigh. It's not a tiny thigh, its HALF of a thigh. This is just as much my fault as it is yours for not checking my order prior to leaving. The pic showing the complete meal was before I started eating. The pics of the thigh only is after I took a pinch off the left side, then decided to take another pic to try to give a better view. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! If I I lived close by I would take it back and demand a refund. Cowboy Chicken, DO BETTER!!!

    Hope these aren't eggs.

Ordered a whole chicken and found some odd little "seasonings". I'm hoping they are not eggs of a fly.

Ok, had a much better experience here! I wouldn't go with the bowls like I did last year but get the chicken. Shocker, get chicken at Cowboy Chicken?!? The rotisserie chicken is delicuous and so tender and warm and soft and all things that good chicken should be. The roll was really tasty. The sweet potato ok. The green beans were yum but basic and pretty watery. The banana puddin' was addictive. I finished that so fast. Love the cracker crumbles on the inside.

Honestly I'm pretty upset they removed the best item from the menu. The keto kale bowl no longer is available and it's pretty disappointing. This used to be a 5 star review but no longer is. The cookies are big and good. Service is fine and plenty of seating for groups.

The chicken tenders are deep fried with a batter that is light and crisp. Had the baked sweet potato and green beans for sides, a great place for a quick and delicious lunch. They have sweet tea, watermelon black tea, regular and strawberry lemonade. All good and sweet.

Amazing service! The manager did something really nice to me for an issue we had with the order I will be a customer for the long haul!

YUM! The chicken here is the best. Tender, moist, and slow roasted in house. Their sides are also killer, especially the Peach Cobbler!

The food is consistently excellent. We went for dinner on a Saturday night (reservations are highly recommended). The wife had the chicken as a main entree. It was outstanding. The chicken was smoky, tender, and moist. It has a bevy of vegetables that are cooked perfectly. It comes with a side and she got the baked potato with everything. She loved everything about this entree. For me, it was an easy decision. I LOVE their wedge salad and started with that. The price has gone up a bit but it remains outstanding. For some reason, the waiter gave me a small but it was fine. The small in 2026 is $7.99 and the regular size is now $11.99. For my entree, I ordered from the appetizer menu and got the crab cake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the crab cake. It has to be the best in Dallas. It is one half pound of pure crab meat, no filler. The price has gone up to $26.99 so it is not cheap, but it is outstanding quality. The cake was perfectly cooked and the crab was sweet. It comes with three dips but to me, I want to taste the crab so I did not use them. The kid had the old fashioned fries and devoured them. Our server, Mark, was attentive and efficient. Service was excellent as usual. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Dallas and IMO the best in the line of Kenny's restaurants. I cannot wait to return.

Our server, Miles, was genuinely friendly and warm, with great suggestions to match. He struck that ideal balance of attentive without hovering, and he made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We opted for lighter lunches, a few salads and tacos, and everything was excellent. The ingredients are clearly high quality, and you can tell real thought went into building the menu. It's the kind of food that proves "light lunch" doesn't have to mean settling. The atmosphere deserves its own mention. The Southern aesthetic is done beautifully: country music in the background, thoughtful decor, and an easy, inviting energy. Everyone working was friendly, and it showed in the overall experience. Whether you're local or just passing through, this one is worth the stop. Highly recommend.

After waters were delivered, our drink order wasn't taken for at least 15-20 minutes after getting there. We placed our drink order and then waited, and waited, and waited for our first round of drinks to come. At one point I made the joke that I should be on my second drink by now(this turned into a joke about how I should be on my third). When the drinks finally came, everyone but mine was delivered, the waitress said that she was running back up to grab mine. She came back with my drink 10 minutes later. At this point we just placed our orders for food and I decided to place my next drink order at this point to help with the wait time. The waitress came back with the appetizer and I actually placed another drink order as well before my second drink came because I wanted to stay ahead of the game. 2nd and 3rd drinks actually came at a reasonable time and I started feeling like the night was turning around. Spoiler Alert: It wasn't. Entrees were delivered and surprise surprise, the food that was ordered with mine was delivered but mine was not. Waited for another long period of time and then my food was delivered. Was an apology of any sort ever given, no. Our waitress came to check back on the table very sparingly to the point we were waiting to place a dessert order so long we decided to take it to go. Ordered the monkey bread, got back to eat it and all the dough was raw. $200 bill between food and drinks for my wife and I and an appetizer for the table(there were others and other bills as well), still tipped 20% but there I would never recommend this restaurant for the service or the food. Great atmosphere great views. Service doesn't match the vibe.
