I have honestly never been more disappointed. This is a $20 steak bacon cheddar cheesesteak at a place who prides themselves in both quality and being local. The prices have gone up, and the portions of meat have gone drastically down. I will never go to a cousins again and will steer anyone that i can. Jersey mikes is significantly better. read more

Cousins Subs - Steak Bacon Cheddar Cheese Steak - Delis Near Me - Oak Creek, Wisconsin

Seems like a local or regional gain. Stuck working from an Airport hotel, I picked this on Uber Eats based on a combo of time and reviews, for lunch. Philly Cheese Steak was decent. Not a true/perfect "Philly" but it was a decent lunch. The sub roll (more a mini baguette) was particularly fresh for a chain. read more

Cousins Subs - two pieces of bread on a piece of paper - Delis Near Me - Oak Creek, Wisconsin

6/24/23 (1:01pm) Just left 135 W. Wilson Ave., Oak Creek Wisconsin, (store #1143) and the manager, no name tag, white short female, stubby, brownish hair with glasses was the worst manager I've ever experience in my whole entire life. After telling her my steak sandwiches wasn't hot she opened the sandwich and started feeling on it. She became confrontational and asked me if I want it burnt? It was not only unprofessional, unsanitary, ignorant, rude, and insulting, it was racially motivated. What a way to teach a staff. It is totally outrageous and unacceptable, she was way out of line. If this is the type of people, you're hiring to run the business it's downhill from here! read more

What is the point of ordering online through your app if it's never done when it says it will be? This is my lunch hour I'm wasting waiting for my food that I ordered before 5pm. It's now 5:34pm. I can't believe this. Second time it's happened, first time I'm addressing the issue. Even while waiting they managed to not get a drive through order correct. Very sad. I'll go to a different location from now on. It's only getting 1 star because it won't let me give 0. read more

love this place!! employees are the best!!! Zack and Sarah rock it there! Best drive through service from Sarah. best sandwich's from Zack read more

The service at this location is beyond awful. You wait for ever in the drive through, they may as well call it a "Park and wait, and wait and wait!" And they never apologize or say thank you for your patience! Today was my last visit at this location! read more

Every time we go our order is wrong and now this time they told us that the same sub I have gotten every time for years "can't be made that way". So I order a different sub and it was made wrong, not surprising at all. So I go back inside to get it remade and it was made wrong AGAIN!! Are you kidding me! Not to mention how incredibly rude they are every time we go. read more

The hubby and I stopped in here recently after an evening of running errands and realizing "Hey! We never ate dinner tonight!". It was about 20 min or so before closing time, but the staff was very nice and was happy to make our sandwiches. The restaurant is very clean and looks great with the updated look. In my lifetime, I've tried a lot of different sub places. Cousins beats the competition, hands down. Their subs are always made fresh and have the best quality ingredients. My go-to as of late is the turkey sub, with mayo, cheese, and onions. My stomach is now growling just talking about it! Cousins also has soups, salads, and other sides to compliment your sandwich order. read more

The food is normally fresh. Drive thru often makes mistakes, not a huge deal. Giving a 2 star rating tho, due to the fact of the crabby older women always working the window. If you hate your job so much quit. Very unpleasant and just rude. No hello. No thank you. Nothing. Just here. Yelled at a me because our coupon was slightly ripped. It's shame. Subway is right down the block and has a nicer staff everyday. Step it up cousins read more

Stopped this morning and ordered 2 salads and 2 half subs. We were the only people in the restaurant and it took 20 minutes for them to prepare. The manager was right there the entire time and did not nudge them along one bit. Truly unacceptable. I'll think twice about going there again, especially if I need to get my food quickly. Additionally, got the food home to find they did not put all the items I asked for on the salad and it was pathetically small. read more

So when you order a sub with double meat & cheese DO NOT EXPECT IT FROM THIS LOUSY LOCATION!!! Do not expect management to do anything about it because they won't!!! Truly an unpleasant experience all around!!! Will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! read more

Please, for the love of gawd. Do NOT get the Wisconsin Brisket and Cheddar. It is nothing at all like they advertise. This crap is microwaved. The "fried onions" are French's Fried Onions out of a freaking bag? They have a grill right there. The Philly steaks are grilled, why are the briskets not grilled? Very disappointed. read more

When I go to a Cousins Sub shop I order a Cheese Steak and add fried onions and mayo to their version of the sandwich. Some Cousins can't make the sandwich this way, they either can't fry the onions or they have to microwave them. Ok, so if they can't fry OR microwave the onions...how are they cooking the steak on the Cheese Steak?? This Cousins does it right, perfectly cooked on that large grill and for some reason, the portions on the sandwich seem better then other branches. If you have to choose between more than one Cousins because you are in-between choose this one, you won't regret it. read more

This cousins always fail me which is why I try to stay away from there. There were 5 cars ahead of me & we ALL had to park & wait. it's either this or the hard stale bread. read more

I grabbed drive through here last week when there was nothing to eat at the cafeteria at work. There was no one ahead of me to order, and only one car ahead of me to pickup. It's a little bit longer wait than your typical fast food, but it was definitely made fresh, and they were very friendly. I had the pepperoni melt with baked lays and a Diet Coke. It's a little too far from work to make it on a 30 minute lunch, so I didn't have enough time to eat before my 1:00 pm meeting, but it still tasted good an hour later. If I could work from home, I'd be there once a week. Cousins is one of the best sub places in Milwaukee! read more

Cousins subs truck came to my job today and i wasn't impressed at all. The cheese on my philly wasn't melted, all of my onions were in one spot, and the $2 regular size of fries was smaller than a mcdonalds small. read more

Order ahead is a joke. You're given a time and when you arrive you are to call. When calling you're put on hold for 5 mins. Once finally your call is taken they tell you they will get your order ready and bring it out ASAP. Excuse me 15 mins later we had to go in and get it! What is the point of order ahead when they do not prepare it ahead and you have to go in the store and ask for it to be made? Never again. read more

Horrible! I waited in the drive thru for 22 minutes for a single sandwich! I ordered the italian special, no drinks or sides. I rolled up to the window paid and then sat in my truck for 22 minutes. I peered through the window and saw a handful of people in the dining area so it was not that busy. I saw at least three employees working. But really 22 minutes for a sandwich. Then when I got home it was extremely disappointing. This was my first time at a cousins and I can honestly say I will never, ever go back. It was a mediocre sandwich with so much break you can barely taste the ingredients. I did receive a phone call from the manager after emailing cooperate HQ about their poor service. I was offered a free sandwich, but I think NOT! read more

When I was thinking of a place to go for dinner cousins was my last option but thank god my fully autistic brother insisted we stopped in because by golly was the service absolutely exceptional from Ethan Stahlkoph! He exemplified the meaning of caring and helpful! My retarded brother actually felt so happy that he asked for a picture! This friendly beautiful soul lit up my retarded brothers eyes with such excitement he wanted to eat here! Overall 10/10 recommend this location! Very very good quality food and exceptional service! They also love retards! read more

You know you've had a good sandwich when you fail to save some fillings for your last bite and it is still absolutely amazing. As I drive by the place was filled at 11:17 so I knew that's a great sign. They have a good selection of hot and cold subs promising better bread and quality fresh cut meats. Despite having my eyes on an Italian, since the man knew how to answer what were the top sellers so I took a Philly beef with a side of fries. Yes fries and the Sammy place. They know what's up. I took it on Parmesan asiago and it was popping with flavor and freshness. Only suggestion is to add a touch of salt and pepper to the sandwich to bring out that natural beef flavor. read more

I like Cousins and they very often have great coupons. Sometimes prefer the "thinner" bread of Subway.

Best Cousins in the area!! Restaurant is always clean!! Employees are friendly, professional, and ger their jobs done. Ive never had a problem with my order or time of order. Keep up the good work!! I actually drive an extra 10mins to come to THIS location instead of the one in South Milwaukee because this locations employees are much more mature and have better customer service. read more

Food is always great. This time I noticed the manager. She is one hard working lady. Very impressive!

Renee there is awesome! The whole crew is pretty nice! It's a very clean place, I'm not too fond of the location, very high traffic and no side walks. Nice amount of toppings to choose from and lots of seating. read more

I recently used their online ordering system on two different occasions. I ordered both times from this location, and both times my order was messed up. The first order was billed wrong, and they had me pay an additional amount when I came to pick up my order. Mistakes happen, but I wondered what would have happened if I didn't bring my wallet to pick up my prepaid order. They also forgot to put one of my subs in the bag. Good thing I checked prior to pulling out of the parking lot. The first time didn't bother me much; however, the second time was a much different case. I ordered again using the online system. Convenient? I don't know about that anymore. My fiance went to pick up my prepaid order on his way home from work about 45 minutes after I placed the order and they hadn't even started it. They told my fiance' their system did not notify them. Okay, another mistake, it happens. Well, then they let him know that they did not have any of the soup I had ordered and already paid for. When he declined the alternative option they said they would refund my money for that part of the order...Never happened. When I called to notify the manager of the inconvenience he asked me, "What do you want me to do about it? I can't control the system." I was amazed. "What did I want him to do?" I wanted him to apologize for the inconvenience and look into the matter. I expect that as a manager he would accept some type of responsibility for his location. I understand he can't control if something doesn't work properly, but if they are aware of an issue, perhaps a routine check would be appropriate. Or another possibility could be to fix the issue. This was not the first time there was a mistake. Jon, the manager, was extremely rude and sarcastic. I asked for the number of the manager above him, and he told me he couldn't give me his personal number. No what I meant, buddy. I had to ask several times for a corporate number before he even attempted to say he was sorry for the system not working. Absolutely horrible service is all I have to say. I will no longer use this location, if I choose to dine at Cousins again that is. I know mistakes happen, but when they happen every time it gets a little frustrating. Perhaps this location should stop using the online system until they can get it together. read more

My boyfriend and I both got chicken cheddar deluxe. He got a full I got a half. His sub was to be no tomatoes, no onion, extra mayo....got the sub and there was no mayo and no lettuce, very plain sub basically all bread. Mine was with whatever came on it normal and was the skimpiest sub I've ever had. My bf called to complain about his no mayo/lettuce sub and they said "well if you wanted that on there you have to say so because we don't automatically put it on". Funny thing is mine was full of lettuce and I didn't ask for it and he mentioned it they stammered and did an "ugh, ugh" and offered us to go back to there store so we could get our food exchanged. Long story short, worst cousins I've been to! Plus I waited 25 minutes in the drive thru. read more

Came here a few weeks ago & specified what I wanted on our subs. They got them wrong. Obviously couldn't unwrap them in the drive thru so didn't see until I came home. I hate tomatoes so had to throw mine away. Came back again today. Had to wait FIFTEEN minutes in the drive thru window. I had a coupon, and didn't notice it was only valid Valentine's Day, since I thought the date was the EXPIRATION Date . The window teller told me, but slammed the window. Didn't come back for another 5 minutes. Saw employees scrambling through the window, looking through bags to make sure they had the right food.. So the subs got switched around and put in bags.. Got home and we were NOT impressed, they looked slopped together. VERY disappointed. Will never return here again, or advise people to. read more

Visited Friday, 5/1 @ 5:15 PM. The first person punched in my order of 1/2 turkey no tomatos no onion. Then, while wearing the same gloves she pulled the centers out of my bread and put on mayo. Then, went back to work the register for the next customer, all the while wearing the same gloves. Next person came over to finish my sandwich, when she got off the phone - again, not changing gloves. Apparently, the knife she was using had food from the previous sandwich, so she just swiped the edge of the knife along the edge of the counter. When it came time to pay, I was told the clerk didn't know what type of cookies they had. She asked Mike the manager, who also said he didn't know. Place was a disaster - 3 people working spent the entire time I was there watching the French fries in the fryer. I mentioned this to some friend so said they went through the drive thru and their BLT had RAW bacon on it. STAY AWAY!!! read more
