I worked with a salesman by the name of Danny that was truly wonderful. He was honest, provided options and didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time. In fact, because of him, we went back to this location after looking at a few different places. He had such a great personality and friendly stance in assisting with the purchase of my new vehicle. I then worked with a finance person by the name of Danny whom was very respectful, polite and pleasant to work with as well. He was straight forward with the signing and didn't make us feel like we were pushed for a bunch of add-ons. Then Ms Dani at the end was such a sweet person with a good sense of humor. Thank you all for everything! On a side note, you should update your questions on the survey to read like it was an issue. When I completed it, I answered how it asked me. Financing always takes a while and I expected that. They were busy assisting others and were all such a great team! read more

This Kia dealership is so much better than the Horne Kia. Friendly, knowledgeable sales staff, and a pretty nice facility. My wife and I were looking at a Sportage X-Line plug in hybrid. James, our salesman spent a lot of time explaining the features on the lot and during the test drive. It is a nice car, loaded with creature comforts and lots of up to date tech, but maybe a bit too small as we have a 2020 Toyota Highlander XLE with 24K miles that we were going to trade. Jason the sales manager was helpful too, but at the end of our visit they were not able to match a Carmax offer for our vehicle, or meet my monthly lease payment goal. ( $3000 difference ) Now here's the sad part, 2 days later or so, we got Jason and the general manager to get our monthly payments down to within 5 dollars of our goal. Had they been able to do that when we were on site, they would have had a sale, but after receiving that last offer, which was good, we had second thoughts about the Sportage. Second thoughts were... Was it really worth almost $50K, and would it be large enough. My lease buy out on my Highlander is $27K. It only has 24K miles and is as good as new... almost. Hard to justify leasing a $50K vehicle that we liked, but didn't love. Again, had they been a little more flexible while we were there... SOLD. Anyway, I will recommend this dealership, but be prepared to negotiate, and don't be afraid to walk away. We might re-visit Courtesy Kia in the fall, but for now were extending our Toyota lease by 6 months and will wait for lower interest rates and better lease terms as the federal reserve will hopefully stop raising interest rates. 1 last point. One sure fire way to slow down inflation is to buy only what you really need, and don't pay more than you are comfortable with. If everyone pushed back on these inflated prices that we're dealing with, retailers will be forced to lower prices... maybe. lol read more

Absolutely horrible buying experience here. Just total scumbags all around. Go elsewhere, they will rip you off and treat you like shit when you have an issue or concern. I'll spare the details. Just don't go to this dealer. Seriously, don't go, ever. ZERO stars. read more

This place is a scam. You buy a vehicle and are told you need an extended coverage warranty. When you try to use the warranty. You get excuses as to why they can't honor it because the vendor went out of business. We purchased the vehicle at the begining of the year and still waiting for someone to actually care. Typical car sales, get em in. Get the sale and promise the world and once the paperwork is signed they forget about you. The warranty was misrepresented when proposed to us as to what they do under the warranty. We asked for plan to be canceled and a full refund of the extra 100+ dollars a month we are paying each month since they can not fulfill our request. We were then told by the finance dept. that we were not required to purchase the warranty and they won't refund the money we've paid. You plain and simple can not charge someone for a service you can't provide. Then the financial dept. Tells me I am being closed minded. WE HAVE BEEN WAITING MONTHS! Time to lawyer up I guess. read more

After going to Courtesy Kia to purchase a new KIA that our salesperson called us about, we went through a 2 hour sales period. We decided to make the purchase and as we started the closing process with a finance person we were told that KIA no longer offers "any warranties on their vehicles". He continued by telling us that because we live in "Arizona" the Air Conditioning system "is not covered because of Arizona being an environmental issue because of the heat". He said that if we drive off the lot and the AC does not work, "there is no warranty on the vehicle to cover "environmental issues" Needless to say we got up and walked out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND KIA, THEY LIE UNTIL YOU GET TO THE FINAL STEP THEN YOU LEARN ABOUT KIA'S "NEW WARRANTY SCAM". There are no warranties on a KIA. Beware this place will let you believe in the false advertising by KIA until the end. read more

Today my family and I went in to look at a used car, when walking up to the car the salesmen informed me that they would be charging me for the factory window tint that they did not install and nitrogen filled tires that were not requested. When we sat down to talk numbers the the sales manager MIKE SANCHEZ came right in to talk numbers because he was training 2 people. First of all I do not appreciate being used as an example to try and sell are car. The internet price was $17,000 and there out the door price was $24,475. The Title, Registration, and Doc fees were %20 percent of the listed price and we had $1500 in roll over debt. Numbers did not match up to what they were showing us and there were hidden fees that they were not telling us. MIKE talked to us for 5 minutes and kicked us out and told us he would not do business with us. We later found out online that there were $2500 in dealer added accessories that they did not inform us about and they were did not ask for. We told them we were pre approved but he could get us approved for the $24,475. The GM will approve anyone for anything even if you can not afford it they will just change the terms of the loan so you can get the payment you want. We are a young family and this dealer was trying to take advantage of us in every way they could. I will never buy a car or support this business in the future. If I could give a 0 start review I would. Avoid any of the Courtesy dealers because they are not Courtesy dealers they are robbers. read more

We had a flat tire and we called roadside assistance to put the donut on. I don't know what happened but he ended up breaking the lug. None of the tire shops could fix that and so we took it to our most trusted mechanic, David K. on Dec 1 to fix it. Even though it took a long time because they had to go to Phoenix and back to get the part, it was completely worth it. While there, we also scheduled an oil change on December 4 and they fixed a plastic piece that came loose from underneath of our bumper. These guys are amazing and I won't go anywhere else for service!! read more

Worked with me in a very good timely manner! offered a Lyft and a discounted rented car!!!

Okay, so I'm only giving this place one star because I have to this is the worst place to bring a vehicle extremely unprofessional. A couple weeks ago I brought my Kia spectra here for a tuneup and complete four-point inspection. They fixed the AC put a new rack and pinion on had the car for two weeks I had to spend $1000 on a rental car, they charged me 2600. fast forward to today. My car is currently at another shop for separate issue. They did a four-point inspection and found out that the engine mount is collapsed because it's a hydraulic one that should've been addressed and replaced, then the CV axle for the front wheel Has to be replaced and I told them that I kept hearing a funny noise coming from that wheel. Think they would've checked and fix that and then now my control arms have to be replaced because the bushings on those were shot you would've think they would've noticed that if they replace the rack, but no, so now I have to spend another 2600 at another shop to get that stuff fixed. This is the worst place the communication between the service advisor and myself well there really wasn't one unless I kept calling back to back. Avoid this place at all costs take your money elsewhere I wouldn't even buy a car from here read more

I have been in the market for a new car and have been to over a dozen dealerships in the East Valley. Many of these dealerships have been of varying quality but Courtesy Kia really stood out (in a positive way). The atmosphere of the dealership is relaxed and calming. I worked with Hunter and he went above and beyond to ensure I received the right vehicle at the right cost. It did take a bit longer to get everything done but at the end of the day Hunter, and everyone else we worked with were very pleasant. Unfortunately the car did have a couple issues I did not notice when at the lot. When I called to see if we can get them fixed, they were willing to fix the issues at not cost. I am still waiting for some replacement parts to arrive and to work with the service department. However, the sales team did a very good job. read more

If they had the car I wanted, I would've bought from them. It's just unfortunate that Sportages are so hard to find right now. Martha and her Manager Mike searched high and low for us and never stopped searching even after we left and a week went by. Mike offered us a great deal if we wanted to build one, we just ultimately didn't want to wait. The deal he offered was MSRP plus around $1,300 in dealer adds if we built. Most Kia dealerships are marking all their Sportages up by around $5k and other dealers have adds up to $3,500. So, that deal was fair and I'm bummed we couldn't make it work. But just because we couldn't make something work, doesn't mean you can't either. You definitely can. Martha and Mike listened to all our must-haves and went on the search for us and I bet they'll do the same for you. read more

Courtesy Kia has always provided great customer service and Donovan in service has always gone above and beyond.

VERY AWESOME EXPERIENCE. I was in the market for an SUV. I wanted something newer, good gas mileage, and mid-upper luxury. I was greeted by Martha before I even got inside. We chatted for a few and she understood exactly what I was looking for. This was, by far, the MOST PLEASANT car buying experience I've had. Martha was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions. Finance guy, manager, etc all made me feel very welcome. They worked very hard to get me the deal I wanted. Would highly recommend. Ask for Martha! You won't regret it. read more

I just purchased a 21' KIA K5. What an awesome vehicle & my Salesperson Jana Darling was AWESOME. Dani was also a treat to explain all the bells & whistles inside the car. I suggest that you do your homework with your financial institution to get pre-qualified ahead of time to save time on that end. Also be prepared to pay for options added to the car price by the dealer. my biggest suggestion, if financing the purchase GET GAP COVERAGE to cover any unexpected total loss. Courtesy Kia - Car Dealers Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Service center has gone down hill since Covid. They use Covid as an excuse for everything. Especially when it comes to recalls. It gives very little incentive as a consumer to ever want to buy a Kia Again. read more

My car was recently totaled due to an accident, which left me needing a car equivalent to my Toyota Highlander. However, due to the pre-owned car market right now, my options were limited of what we could actually get right now. It made this car purchase more of a what I need rather than what I want. I have purchased all my other vehicles at Larry H. Miller Ford in Mesa, always had the best service and no issues. So when I found the 2018 Kia Sorento I purchase online I figured it would be easy to go out and test drive and go from there. You put an inquiry or make one phone call to this dealership regarding a car and they nonstop blow up your phone/email. I still am getting emails from a Kassidy Wakefield saying I have appointments coming up to look at their inventory when I never made an appointment. This is where I get irritated. I got the Kia and within driving it I noticed the breaks were extremely squeaky. I called and explained the situation and was transferred to the guy Todd who sold me the car and left a voicemail - never heard back, and never got a follow up call either. I called explained the situation and was transferred to the sales manager and left a voicemail, never heard back, or got a follow up. I had submitted many inquiries for someone from either sales or service to return my call and nothing. Finally I was transferred to the service manager, and Chris (I am pretty sure is his name) was absolutely amazing. He made sure my vehicle was looked at personally and he came out from the shop and kept explaining to me what was causing the squeaking and what they were going to do to fix it. This dealership will be up your ass for inquiries but the second something is wrong with the vehicle they will not return your calls. I personally would not come here for any other vehicle purchase. read more

Had a really bad experience. I was just trying to lease a car. They had "deals" but online it's way cheaper.

I had a 2020 Hyundai Elantra that I was having trouble getting insurance on thanks to the Kia Boys plus I wanted a new vehicle anyway as I wanted to get into a smaller SUV type vehicle. So I went on Kelly blue book to see what my Hyundai was worth. Got a call from several dealerships and I immediately took a drive to Courtesy Kia and Met with I believe Danny who was in charge of buying my Hyundai and then met with Andy, my fabulous sales rep. We looked at several cars and I fell in love with a Chevy Equinox. The sales manager didn't want to come down 1400 dollars so we left. A couple of days later I text Andy and told him I really wanted that Equinox and I told him if he could get it for a specific amount I would come in that day to sign papers. He told me me "give me a few to work on it." Needless to say we went and signed paperwork that day, all because I had Andy Gamboa as a salesman and he wasn't afraid to go to bat for me. I highly recommend Andy the next time YOUR looking to purchase a vehicle. I felt he really cared about me and what I wanted. Oh and about that Hyundai I traded in? They were more than awesome, they paid off my existing loan I had on it plus put almost 2 grand towards the new vehicle(and I only had the Hyundai for 2 years). I love Coutesy Kia and Andy Gamboa read more

My husband and I just bought a Kia Forte GT Line, and we LOVE it! We worked with both, Paul and Gary throughout our shopping process. Both salesmen were a pleasure to work with! Thank you, Courtesy Kia!!! read more

I went to test drive a 2022 Seltos. Louis helped me. He was professional & very friendly. I gave him my budget and he said he could work within that. Unfortunately the only color they had in stock was the one color that I didn't want: yellow. I had to run to another appointment and they said they could help to locate the color I wanted. They stayed in contact with me to advise of updates. I found the color I wanted at another dealership a couple days after and went with it. So this review is purely for the customer service I experienced while shopping with Louis and his manager. read more

I wouldn't even give a one star! I went in on a Saturday and was helped by CHEY a sale rep. Received good customer service while i was in the dealer ship but ever since I have reviewed HORRIBLE customer service from CHEY! Saturday since it was later In the day I was informed they would not hear back from a bank and it would be best to leave and he will be in contact Monday morning, before leaving he brought up that if my friend wanted a car we could do a "double deal" and use her car as a trade in to help me. We said that would actually be great! CHEY stated send him my friends car information to get a quote to see what they would offer for her car. Which she gave him Saturday and informed her that he will have someone get that quote by Sunday and he would reach out first thing Monday morning. We said Okay great! Monday we did not hear a thing from CHEY! So my friend went in to get an update he stated his buyer was not in today and his buyer Mike will be in first thing Tuesday morning and he "CHEY" will reach out to me with an update Tuesday morning. Again all day went by without hearing from him " CHEY" so after I got off 3pm I called very respectfully asked if he had a update because there had been NO communication even though he keep saying he will call to give me an update. Finally at almost 5pm I received a message stating " Hello Nancy. We are submitting to the bank now." I responded " because again nothing has been communicated with me. " Are you submitting for one caror for the two? " AGAIN I got NO response. So going on 4 days without getting any information my friend went up there after 7pm, she was greeted by another sale rep and informed him she was just wanting an update and see what the quote they were offering for her car. The sale rep stated okay I'll go find out and went and got CHEY. My friend was sitting down having no problem waiting, CHEY walked over and without even greeting her he stated " you guys are pushing me" " that he is with a client right now and does not have time for this. That it was submitted to the bank" my friend stated " she was just trying to figure out what was submitted and what the quote was that they were offering for her car" CHEY stated " he does Not know and we need to quit pushing him" my friend stated "I'm just trying to figure out what you were offering for my car" CHEY stated " i don't know, I think 3,400. Then stated I'll let you guys know" and just walked away! Absolutely disgusting with how he talked to my friend I called and requested for a manager, the receptionist took a message for the manager to give me a call back and I still have NOT heard anything, an hour later I tried to call back to once again request to speak to a sale manager and the gentleman the answer the phone transferred me when I got transferred to just an extension. I hung up and called back and they would not answer my phone call! I called the number I had for CHEY asking if he could get me in contact with a sale manager and rudely he stated they are with a client, I stated I could wait he stated I can take a message or he can give me a call back, I asked. CHEY if I would get a call back tonight and with some arrogance in his voice stated "I do not know how long he will be with the client." So I informed him if he could please request for him to call me back and I will also call in the morning. My credit has been ran over 6 time total, today 3 times and still have NOT received an update!! UPDATE!! a little more the 20 minutes after I initially posted my review I reviewed a text from CHEY after they CLOSED at 9:17 CHEY Texted me stating "Hello Nancy. We have tried all options, and we can't get an approval. It would take a substantial amount of money down. Sorry. We tried everything." Which doesn't even make sense because we were offering to put a $1000 cash plus a car that she could sell for $5086 If they wouldn't offer a good amount for the trad. so in cash we would had OVER $6000!! read more

This review is based solely on my experience with this dealership and my Opinion only. Your experience maybe be different. I previously purchased a 2021 Soul EX in June 2021 from this dealership was pleased with the experience. However, while shopping for another Soul an LX this time (a much cheaper style) I was met with some attempted price gouging to the tune of $ 3, 000.00. And boy did they pester me. Especially when I stated that I found the same car for the 3k less than, they quoted me of $26K +. Well it's a FACT! I did purchase the same Soul from ROYAL KIA in Tuscon for $ 23, 208.00. Was it worth the drive to save 3k? You bet it was and it was the best experience in buying a car I've ever had. In and out in just over an hour. Go see Garrett. You be very glad you did. read more

Mike the internet manager initially reached out to me and I told him what I was interested in. He did not force me to consider another vehicle and listened to my needs. He reached out to me when a car I wanted was available. Tanner helped me the rest of the way, I did not have to ask too many times to get the information I asked for. I was informed right away when he knew the car arrived. We were able to get right to it instead of wasting too much time at the dealership. I would reach out to this dealership again if I decide to look for another vehicle in the future. read more

We bought a vehicle from Courtesy Kia about a year ago. (Brand new 2024) They tried to claim they were not pushy but defiantly were. We left the first day to go home and think about the vehicle we wanted to buy and after five minutes of leaving the sales man text me a picture of someone else looking at the car with the caption "better think quick text me if you decide you want it asap." Fast forward to the last few months and the trim has fallen off on all but one door. The first one they replaced easy pease no problem. It's under the warranty. Now they need to replace them again and they have not called me back for two weeks. When I went in for them to take pictures one service employee was helping someone while four others stood around staring at me saying I had to wait for the only employee working. Someone else finally decided to help me after I told them I didn't care whole help, I was told to come in anytime and anyone could take the pictures. They took picture I left and have not heard from them since. I've called three times and each tome I'm told I will have them call you back shortly. Anyone who can help is busy. Worst customer service. They claim they are the best but they are not. They blame the problem on AZ heat, but the same things happened to my brothers vehicle in Colorado. This is a Kia problem not a heat problem. If their customer service was better I would not care but their lack of communication is the problem. read more

For an inexperienced buyer, I feel I was taken advantage of by this dealer. I found this car on Autotrader at a price within my budget. When they showed me the car, the ticker price was a couple thousand more. They honored the Autotrader price I showed them, however I discovered later I was CHARGED for and had services added I didn't ask for or authorize, and these services were preformed BEFORE I ever saw the car. For example I was charged for window tinting. The car ALREADY had tinted windows! The customer should not be charged for a service the dealer choose to provide. Those costs should have been included in the ticker price on the window. This dealer's purposed "forthcoming and transparency" is only for those who know what questions to ask, know what they are looking at, know what they are looking for, and understand the lingo. I was misled. Neither I or generations of family and friends will be doing business here in the future. read more

We purchased a pre-owned car for our daughter. Seems like a lot of dealers these days keep cars listed for sale after they've been sold to get you to the lot. I inquired about a particular car over the Internet and Kaitlyn responded right away. I asked her to confirm that they actually have the car. She was very responsive and communicative and said that they did have the car at a different location, but they would bring it to the Mesa location for us to drive. We showed up at the scheduled time and our salesman Travis was there to greet us and the car was parked right out front. Travis was great, we had a good buying experience, and we're happy with the purchase. Travis followed up with a video message and a phone call the next day to make sure that we didn't have any questions or concerns. They seem to have a different culture there at Courtesy Kia than other dealerships and it was refreshing. read more

Marc may be a victim of poor, crooked management or leadership but either way why lie to someone who tells you that they are driving for 2 hours to buy a car? My husband and I saw a 2020 Toyota Highlander online at Courtesy Kia in Mesa so we stopped to look at it. We have a 800+ credit score. The dealership had added $2,000 worth of adds to the price. The add ons were $594 LoJack, $424 window tint warranty, $144 nitrogen for life and a $846 warranty for 12,000 miles or 1 year (the car still had just over 6,000 miles on the factory warranty). We were told the dealership warranty would run currently with the factory warranty, which made no sense. In Arizona, it is illegal for a dealership to require a buyer to pay for dealer add ons even if the dealer cannot remove the add ons. Most of these add ons were warranties that could be removed so we brought this up to the sales manager because we did not want the add ons. He got angry and said that their price was the price and they would NOT remove the add ons. We ultimately decided to buy the car and were completing the paperwork when the sales manager called our salesman away. When they came back, we were told they were sorry but someone else had just purchased the vehicle and had driven it away already. This was 8:00 pm and there were no additional customers working with salesman in the showroom since we had been there. It's impossible to believe that the finance department wouldn't know they were working on two different deals for the same car. We believe the sales manager stopped the sale of this vehicle to us because they were afraid we would report them to the Attorney General for refusing to remove the $2,000 worth of add ons we didn't want and were requiring us to buy in order to buy the car. Don't buy from Courtesy Kia, I believe they are dishonest and do not care about their customers. My disabled wife sat in her wheelchair for hours to make this deal only for them to supposedly sell it twice like they had no idea two people were buying the same car. They will mark up the price of their cars with add ons they cannot legally charge you for and refuse to remove them. read more

Booked a 30,000 miles service (per Manual for a Kia Soul) and took car in yesterday, April 19, 2022. Was the only one there, which should have been a red flag! First experience and last with this new operation. The bill was just shy of $600. Have another Kia Soul which had a 30,000 miles service at Horne Kia for $184.00 18 months ago so expected a reasonable increase. Upon review noticed they had not followed the manual 30,000 miles service as requested, but rather added unnecessary services. This wasn't clearly explained at the time I made the reservation. Discussed this with the Service Adviser, Austin Bacon, and again with the Service Manager, Christian Bazan. It was a complete waste of time. They clearly demonstrated they are neither courteous (as their name implies) nor do they follow Kia guidelines. They were unprofessional and obviously have no desire to increase their customer base. Absolutely disgusted and considering my options, but can definitely confirm this was my FIRST AND LAST VISIT TO COURTESY KIA IN MESA. If readers of this review decide to take their Kia vehicles for service to Courtesy KIA they should make absolutely sure, to request them to follow Kia guidelines and have them sign off to that effect, or prepare themselves for a very high bill! Disappointed and disgusted! read more

I'm glad I did my husband just changed cabin filter a few months ago and it's like brand new. He also checked engine filter and yes it was a little dirty, but found they left its door open and probably would have lost it over time.
