Couch potato is great. The wait time for me has always been about 2 hours, maybe once it was 1.5 hours. That's a long time if you really need something but if it is for later it's great! I used to order way before I needed it and so it was never a big deal. I hate the phone so I haven't talked to them but the website works lol. It is good to hear that I can ask for possible other items bc sometimes the items are limited. I assume it just depends on what they have. I never had a rude experience at all though. Once we fell asleep and they left the order at the door which was awesome. Once there was a problem with the card and they let me pay cash. Always real nice ppl. CPA went to HEB and bought what I needed and delivered it to our production team. 2) Once, I was out of town for the 4th of July and didn't realize that they were closed for the holiday. I left a message and they called me back --and made the emergency delivery to the customer anyway. With a smile. 3) Any time we get a late order and it's inconvenient for me to make the delivery -- CPA is ready and willing to do the run for pretty much the same price as doing it in-house. =Personal= So you've probably seen their website: they deliver all sorts of stuff at gas station prices-- which, in an of itself, is a fantastic service (God knows that they help me keep making responsible choices); but did you know they'll also go to restaurants, order food for you, and bring it to you? These folks are on to something really great! I mean, with all the lazy (and drunk) people in Austin, they stand to make a killing! I first heard about Couch Potato from a coworker who was absolutely adament that I had to try them out. So after a few weeks of thinking it over and perusing their menu, I finally tried them out on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised at how easy and practical the process was. I ordered a half dozen eggs, a six pack of beer, a pint of milk, and a Boomerang sandwich. Everything arrived within an hour and was delivered by a friendly driver. Everything was packed nicely and the beer arrived ice cold, as did the eggs. The driver was a bit winded because she had to go up a few flights of stairs but was courteous and nice nonetheless. She even gave me a free magnet for my refrigerator! There's no doubt in my mind that Couch Potato is well on its way to becoming a true Austin staple.
