Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy

Only had one problem and that was with the hostess who tried to squeeze our party of four into a tiny table. The restaurant was pretty much empty because it was during lunch. The two people before us were given a nice big giant table and the single Diner that came in just after us also got a big giant table with no problems. After this interaction and getting a normal size table to use the celebration started. Appetizers and entrees were ordered along with the drinks and everything was delicious. I wish this restaurant provided appetizer combos like all the other restaurants do but unfortunately they don't and you're forced to order each appetizer individually. So that's what we did fried pickles, fried green tomatoes and chicken fried bacon were ordered and devoured by our group. For main entrees we had grilled chicken salad, brisket quesadillas, and 2 chicken fried steak meals. Grilled chicken salad was served with balsamic vinaigrette which was absolutely amazing. Brisket quesadilla came with salsa and sour cream and with equally as amazing as chicken salad. The chicken fried steak meals were served with mashed potatoes that were out of this world delicious, green beans and side salads. These meals were also just as amazing as the other meals.

Great food, , Affordable Prices and Friendly Service. Everyone and I do mean everyone that you encounter when visiting this restaurant is friendly. I love how the kitchen area is open and everything is cooked when ordered. The dining area is always clean and cool. It's obvious a lot of effort goes into keeping the guest spaced out to ensure comfort. We enjoyed the fried fish, onion rings, broccoli and cheese casserole and macaroni and cheese. Next time, I'll get a quick photo of the fish before it's eaten. We were hungry:). I was able to get a quick photo of the kid's Mac! It was kid approved! Grab a plate or two! You will leave with a full belly!

Cobb Salad

I got the Cobb salad with avocado delivered. They packaged it upside down so it was all over the place when I opened it. They gave me a half of an avocado without slicing it and it was spoiled so I had to toss it out. The grilled chicken on top is super dry and really salty and some of the lettuce is wilted and wet before I even put the dressing on it. I had high hopes and after spending $11.00 on this salad I had to throw it away it was way too salty. Hopefully others have a better experience. I was contacted by management that stated they would pay for a dinner for two to make matters better. I thought this was a kind gesture as I expressed not wanting to spend anymore money here after throwing away my last meal. After driving 10 mins to get my free meal I arrived and was given a coupon for a buy one get one free. Very disappointed in the deceit as I was told it would be taken care of, I left with nothing.

Umm... This visit was an adventure. They had several items on the menu unavailable. The service was decent in the respect that our server had not tried a lot of the items on the menu, so couldn't recommend substitutions for the options unavailable. We had two items added to our ticket that shouldn't have been. When it was brought to their attention it was removed with no problem.

Chicken fried bacon

My first time ever trying Cotton Patch was pretty good. My husband and I got the chicken fried bacon for an appetizer. In my opinion it was too much breading and the bacon was underdone. I think I would have just preferred a plate of thick, crispy bacon. The complimentary dinner rolls were delicious. I had the sirloin with a loaded baked potato and I really enjoyed it. My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak and sides. The portions were pretty big and well priced. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Overall I think we'll go back.

FRIED PICKLES

We ate here some time ago. We enjoyed our meal from start to finish. They have great rolls and butter. Awesome Fried Pickle slices served with Ranch and also a Honey Mustard. Good Grilled Shrimp and great vegetables. This is usually a good choice.

On my second trip to the bar the bartender suggested just converting to a bottomless mimosa. I which point I should've said no, but there's a first time for everything and this Sunday morning brunch was that day. The food was phenomenal! My boyfriend's chicken biscuit was the perfect blend of spice and honey-sweet. Chicken was fried well, still juicy. My sausage gravy biscuit was fantastic as well. We tried the beignets and French toast that our friends got, those were also really good. This remodel has been amazing for this place. Very clean, great service. Seriously, no complaints. Just thankful I had a ride home.

The original owners relocated to the area due to storm damage after Katrina. New Orleans' loss of this restaurant was Shreveport's gain. The original decor in the former gas station/garage wasn't terrible, but the lawn chairs were replaced with comfy wooden chairs and the decoration and flow of the restaurant and bar is a significant upgrade. You will still recognize the place, but it's just much nicer now. The big question - how is the food under the new owners? In a word - comparable. The jambalaya and ettouffee are still truly Cajun and excellent. I would still rate this as likely the best Cajun spot in Northern LA. A friend eating with us reported that the PoBoys, while excellent, aren't true poboy bread, if you're from Lafayette or farther south. If you're not from that area, you're not going to notice, as they are awesome. Even people from that area enjoyed their PoBoys while commenting on the difference. Service is just as friendly under the new owners, and they were swamped when we were there earlier today. Prices are still good. I love that the pepper on the menu next to the etouffee was actually met with some heat. So often that is not the case. For me, it was a nice kick. Highly recommended for a visit when you're in town.

This Fabulous Family Restaurant is located right on the border of Keithville and Stonewall, Louisiana. They offer a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes, daily specials, beverages and scrumptious desserts to satisfy every palate. Just check their menu for the hours and offerings. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, this cafe provides a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike. My husband and I learned about them on the Tasty Tuesday news article that was featured on KTBS. When we asked how they got started, the owners Tanesha and Wade Hall responded that they opened their restaurant, LeaIV's Cafe, at the beginning of the summer because they love to cook and realized, as Stonewall residents, that there are very few food options in town. We agreed, for as we told them, just in visiting Shreveport, we noticed limited quality options, other than our cooking the food ourselves. Tanesha also said that it all started at her business, Inner Quality Services, in Stonewall when she and Wade started selling plates out of the building. It became a big enough hit that they decided to move to this current site at 671 U.S. Hwy. 171 Suite M as soon as it became available. For us, Sunday dinner always means family and the sharing of love through a meal cooked straight from the heart. We happen to believe that every day should feel like Sunday, full of prayer, joy and love. So we are excited about this mutual belief that their family has also shared and enjoyed for many years. Everything we have tasted in our visits at LeaIV's has been "spot on" delicious. The perfect seasoning and jovial atmosphere is on point, so warm, inviting and flavorful with Friendliness, Love, Kindness and Soul. We keep coming back whenever we get the chance. Come on down and try LeaIV's Cafe. You will not be disappointed!

I went to two different places in Bossier, the first didn't have any and said they were too expensive. The place I visited only sold them on Thursday. Due to the distance I gave up the visiting Thursday so I Googled "Oxtails near me". Low and behold I discovered this fine Dining Establishment 1 1/2 miles away. So I called and asked if they had oxtails today and was told "Yes". Upon entering I felt right at home and saw many locals enjoying their meals. Everything looked appealing. I paid the same price here as I do in Virginia. The food was bulging yet truly stuffed to the point of overflowing...HUGE portions and it all tastes good. Large pieces of oxtails too. I was served enough food that will last at least 2-4 days. This is my go to place for all my meals while in Stonewall.
