Highly recommend. Had the most amazing dinner here. We had reservations but still had to wait about 40 min for our table. Almost left but I knew it must have been worth it.... And it is! Get ready for the most perfectly crisp huge delicious veal ever. And the sides which change, were perfect. Definitely go for the zucchini fries. And don't skip dessert .. best tiramisu. Small but great dejection of wine. Service is quick and the space is very romantic.

WOW!! Just wow, this place is a must-go, I'd say a weekly go to. The service was incredible, young servers with amazing attitude. A fixed menu which is out of this world. The Arriabata was a bit spicy like they said and perfect. I absolutely loved the vibe of the place so full and busy the entire time. The cotoletta with the bone in was incredible, tender, delicious and perfect. The zucchini fries were a hit! JUST RUN NOW.

Interesting concept, I guess. There is a set menu that doesn't change. It is for two people. I'm not really sure what happens if you are three people at dinner or if you're just one person because it is a menu for two people only. You get a veal cutlet Milanese and 2 sides, and 2 appetizers. It is always veal cutlet Milanese. I'm not sure if the appetizers or sides change. Our appetizers were two pieces of bruschetta, and two pieces of Arancini. They were both very, very good. For our side dishes, we had an arugula salad and zucchini fries, both fine. The veal cutlet was a nice size. To be honest it had a strange taste to it. I thought kind of gamey, an off flavor that I didn't care for. But overall, I suppose it was OK but considering this is the only thing they make it certainly wasn't anything special. Definitely no place I'd run back to.

Amazing!!!! Best veal cotoletta I've ever had! We are only in town for two nights at an Airbnb and this was right down the street! I think the only reason we got a table was because it's a Monday night! If we lived here, this place would be on repeat weekly.

I enjoyed my time at Cotoletta. While I'm not usually a big fan of veal, I still found it pretty tasty, the lemon adds a nice touch, and although the dish is simple, it has enough flavor. I loved the spicy penne and the appetizers they bring out to start the meal. The service was great as well. The restaurant is small with limited tables, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

Cotoletta is truly one of the most unique dining experiences I've had in a long time. The concept is simple ...there's only one thing on the menu, and honestly, that's all you need. For $80 (for two people), you get a beautifully curated meal that includes two appetizers and a shared entrée, the cotoletta. It starts with a bruschetta and an arancini which is a truffle infused rice ball that's deep-fried to perfection. I've had arancini before, but never like this. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely phenomenal. Then comes the main course , the cotoletta , a perfectly breaded veal cutlet served with lemon. It's meant to be shared, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. Crispy, tender, flavorful... I now understand why this place is getting so much attention. Sometimes simplicity really is the secret. While we waited for our table, we checked out 3190, a newly opened wine bar just a couple doors down from the same owner. It had such a cute and cozy vibe, perfect for a pre dinner drink. They also offer a small food menu (just lasagna!) which looked incredible. I'm already planning my next visit just to try that. Cotoletta and 3190 are doing something different and it works. Highly recommend!!

What a great experience we had at Cotoletta! I need to confess I was a bit annoyed reservations were only via phone call - but i really wanted to check it out so I called and they made my resy for the next day right away. So from that phone call to the actual dinner, its fair to say the service was incredible. The "one option" menu makes our lives easier and every plate was delicious, but the Milaneze is really the star of the dinner! It was so big - we both ate and still took leftovers home. We also loved the house white wine - really light and refreshing, perfect for the miami heat. The place is really small (the tables are very close to each other) and can get a little loud, but i think its good for a date night. Great price for what you're getting and overall amazing experience. We'll definitely be back soon.

The experience was well worth it!! They have a great concept, one menu with few options. They focus on perfecting their dishes with no fuss. My only feedback is that the side dish's can be a tad bit larger. I did find them on the smaller side. Service was good.

Simple menu, simple choices, and very authentic good food priced well. We had reservation but they were able to set us 30 minutes before.

Believe it or not I had never had Milanese before trying it at Cotoletta and I'm so glad that this was my first. I have to start my review off by gushing about how hospitable the team was here. I walked in around at 5:30 pm with two friends, my small dog, and no reservations. They still happily accommodated us and kindly let us know that we would have an hour before the reservation who would need our table would come in. I said, as long as you can feed us in an hour, we're game! And so the experience began. It was clear that they worked well as a team--everyone was on the same page, they explained the menu and how it worked really well, and never once did I feel rushed. As a matter of fact, when I asked about how much time we had left, the response, "don't worry about that, this is your time to enjoy your meal." Like, what?! Amazing. On to the food: delicious. From the yummy little starter olives to the way that the lemon brightened the tender Milanese to the light crisp of the fried zuchinni side, it was a definitely a meal to delight in. And though their concept mainly focuses on two-person dining (so it's the perfect date spot) they still offered a great deal and portion size for a single diner. The ambiance was my favorite--we got to see it transform from quiet early dinner to a lively full house. The way the team worked around each other was like a dance and the vibe of everyone inside added to the big happy family dinner vibes. Cotoletta is must try! But please...even though they were so lovely and accommodating don't be like me--make a reservation!

Cotoletta in Coconut Grove is a small Italian restaurant where you need to call ahead for reservations. Their main course is the fried veal Milanese, served with a selection of sides, you can choose from pasta, fries, or salad, and it also comes with arancini balls and tomatoes with mozzarella. The veal was perfectly cooked, juicy, and well-seasoned, and everything including the desserts was delicious. Service was exceptional with an authentic Italian staff. Indoors is cozy, outdoors can get noisy, and parking is limited to street or nearby garages. Overall, 10/10 and I'll definitely be back.

Early dinner on a Sunday - not busy yet Perfect!

This was not a meal, it was an experience! When a restaurant offers a very small menu, it has to knock it out of the park. And OMG they did! The place is cozy and crowded and that makes it perfect! I felt as if I was somewhere in Italy. Loved everything about this place and the star of the show, veal cotoletta, was done to immaculate perfection. The appetizers included were arancini and bruschetta. Both were great! We also tried all the side dishes (we were a big group). Fries, very well done. Zucchini fries, amazing! Pasta Arrabbiata, finally someone knows how to make it right! Arugula salad, simple and delicious. For dessert I made the sacrifice to have a cafe affogato. I can't recommend this enough. If I could give it more stars, I would. Make sure you call for a reservation and if you are driving, plan extra time to find parking.

The menu has a great variety of healthy, fresh options, which isn't always easy to find when you're looking for something quick and nutritious. That said, the pricing is definitely something to be aware of. While the quality of the food is high, this is still a fast-casual concept. It's not the spot to grab a quick lunch if you're trying to stay under $20. Wraps easily exceed that price point. During this visit, I ordered the Skinny Green Smoothie, which was very good but came in at $12. My husband had the Poke Bowl Wrap, priced at $23. It did include a Cilantro sauce that complemented the wrap nicely, but drinks are not included, which pushes the total even higher. Another drawback is the counter-service tipping setup. Suggested gratuities start at 18%, which feels steep for an order-at-the-counter experience, especially when that's typically the baseline for full-service dining. I'm giving this location 4 stars because I truly appreciate having healthy, quality options available. However, the high prices and tipping expectations are what ultimately kept this from earning a fifth star

I couldn't believe the restaurant was empty except for us the entire time - they deserve more hype! You enter through the first floor and walk upstairs to the beautifully decorated dining area. What we ordered: *Oyster mushrooms (9.2/10) - although a pinch saltier than I would have liked, the potato miso cream was to dieeee for. Mushrooms were flavorful and cooked perfectly. *Smoked coconut rice (8/10) - my bf liked this a lot more than I did but I still thought it was tasty! The saffron custard was unique and paired well with the grilled colossal crab. Little bits of trout roe were the perfect visual & textural touch. However, we both agreed that something was slightly "off" about the rice; almost reminding us of instant microwaveable rice for some reason, but we couldn't put a finger to exactly why. *Ravioli (10/10) - who knew hazelnuts, caramelized onion, and piave cheese go so well together? No complaints about this dish. It was plated nicely and a delight to eat. Kat walked us through their natural & biodynamic wine selection, as well as every dish as it came out. What stood out about her was how professional, kind, helpful, and conversational she was! Kat also let us try the sparkling Bisson wine, which was perfectly light and refreshing (hints of green apple). The meal ended with two warm herbal-infused towels for us to wipe our hands with. 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill, and we tipped extra because of how lovely the service was. I would love to come back and try their brunch menu (the pear french toast looks divine)!!

Krus Kitchen is a local gem. The presentation, the flavors, the utmost care they take of each plate…read moreis phenomenal. The restaurant is small and yes, it's definitely on a higher price range but this place is for experience. It doesn't cater to a specific cuisine and takes inspiration from everything. It's on a really busy street in Coconut Grove with a high competition from so many restaurants around and this place stands out. I went on a Sunday early dinner. Only a couple of tables were occupied. It's on the floor above Los Felix and you actually have to go through that Mexican restaurant to take stairs to Krus. But as soon as you step in, the vibe changes completely. Floor to ceiling wine racks, cozy lights and an open kitchen make this place trendy rather than a quiet classic restaurant. I felt the volume could be reduced a bit to make it even more comfortable to have a date night conversation. I had read about the smoked coconut rice but when it came out it was nothing like I ever experienced. It's a very delicate sweetness added to basmati rice and a slight juicy crunch from the trout that brought the flavor out of the crab meat. The saffron custard added a creamy layer to smooth it out. Ravioli was filled with Italian cheese and tossed with a tonne of hazel nuts. There was a slight drizzle of chimichuri as well but the flavor that was strongly coming from was the thyme oil. For dessert I initially was going for Parsnip sundae but after the amount of hazelnut I ate for entree, I wanted to try a different flavor. My waiter, Kat suggested the burrata ice cream and it had black garlic I never tried before. It had an umami flavor and that was a unique taste for me. The butter cookie was salty and it reminded me a bit of peanut butter cookie. But without the crunch. Surprisingly the milk merengue was crunchy. The host, my server(Kat) and the rest of the staff did an amazing job explaining each dish and allowed me to really get to know the dish not only before ordering but also during and after. They really cared about the experience they were giving. The plates are small but definitely not tapas style. They don't have validated parking but there is metered parking and there are garages in the area.
