To schedule an appointment (first available a week out) and then show up to be told it will be 90 min to rotate tires, then to have them tell you to come around back to get your car, and when you get there,e they look at you like you are an a-hole and tell you to go back to the desk (in through the out door with a full cart). Costco needs to hire more or better people. read more

This review is for the cashier Hazel. Photo speaks for itself, I've never left Costco with our cart packed with such lack of care before. She said we had to put our items on the belt (they were all in one neat layer on the cart with barcodes face up which all other Costcos have no issues with), which is fine because I assume she's following a policy. When she started tossing things into our cart, like taking the folded pants from the belt and tossing them into the cart unfolded, and then putting a pork loin on top of my pants, that's when I started to have an issue... the rotisserie chicken wasn't placed level in our cart and the bananas were squished and shoved down as she pushed items down before also haphazardly putting them in the cart. Maybe my expectations were too high but I've never had anything like this type of experience all the hundreds of times I've been to Costco before. read more

We normally attend the Costco warehouse for purchases but with bronchitis I decided to place an order for delivery. Big mistake. It may not be the fault of Costco directly but they use Fed Ex for deliveries so they ate partially to blame. Bottom line Fed Ex made the delivery. The boxes were left on the sidewalk outside of our gate (a first for any delivery) and by the time we realized that they were delivered they had been out in the rain overnight. A mess!! Costco platinum, diamond, and Ruby "XO" ring: I'm writing this review here because Costco won't allow photographs in its reviews. My partner wanted to get this ring for me for Valentine's Day, (it was on sale :)), but the reviews were mixed. Some folks thought the diamonds were too tiny or not sparkly, others didn't like the ruby colors, or it rubbed because the curve of the stones goes down to where neighbor fingers might rub, and it is only available online, not in store, so we didn't buy. When the ring went on sale again earlier this month (July 2021) I read the additional reviews - better, but also mixed - and thought, why not buy TWO and keep the one I liked, or neither of them if they were both m'eh. I bought a 6 and a 7. In the photos, the 6 is on the LEFT and the 7 is the ring on the RIGHT, further up my un-manicured gardener's thumb. Review is below 1) I thought the diamonds were plenty sparkly for 2mm diamonds on both rings 2) The size 7 ring's rubies were very well matched in color, clarity and vibrance, a very pinkish red. The size 6 were slightly less matched, and two are slightly less vibrant - but three of the size 6's rubies were more red than pink and very clear (redder is better up to a point with GIA). 3) The stones appear to be essentially the same size on both rings, in fact, both jeweler's reports for the rings - they come with the ring - say they're 3.5x4.5mm rubies and 2mm diamonds and minimum .65ct total diamond weight. 4) I kept the size 7 and, after a week of wearing it I can say that the side prongs do rub a little but not when I'm walking the dog or doing normal things. When I play tug with the dog, yes, and since I wear it on my RT hand, I could see a strong handshake as a rub. My layman's conclusion and recommendation is that if you order a size 5 or a size 8 you are either likely to either see a slight change in diamond size/sparkle to accommodate the 53 diamonds OR the stones might come further down the sides (the 5) or be further from your finger neighbors (the 8) if they are not caliber cut to the ring size. There does not seem to be a stone size difference between 6 and 7. The ring itself has maybe a 1-2mm difference in the ring height/width as you can see from the pictures. If you have a Sonicare or Oral B electric toothbrush, keep a geezer brush head in the cabinet to clean it with because the pretty marquise platinum lattice on the inside is going to collect soap. Not quite sure how to write this review as I am not exactly sure what I just experienced. We just spent $256.00 at the Seattle Costco on 4th Ave and I decided to get a treat. I was craving ice cream. That feeling did not last long. See photos. For over a minute I held a spoonful of this whipped chemical reaction above the cup and the substance held its shape and did not move. Similar to a lightweight spackle or weather sealant foam, this flavorless and very strange paste is by no stretch of the imagination, of the cow. Costco, seriously, whatever this stuff is please Stop calling it ice cream. It's absolutely awful and really should not be sold as food. Given the fact the food area is close to the automotive area, perhaps this stuff would work better as an injectable tire sealant rather than something marketed as a treat. Gross. read more

While searching online for Colognes, the site makes it very difficult. I used the drop down, selecting Beauty-fragrances-for him. They unfortunately have women's fragrances listed for him which makes me have to view and assure myself I am buying men's colognes. Can Costco please fix this issue. My fav location bc #1 excellent car wash, #2 large parking lot, #3 they carry my all-time fav wine: Jadot Pinot Noir. Everything else this Costco has is just icing on the cake! Of course, like all other locations, it can be quite busy everyday. However, if you show up about half hour before they close, you'll have so much space to yourself, you can probably do a few cartwheels up and down each aisle without touching another person. The only thing I do not like about Costco in general is that they make their backers pushers push baskets with no machines. That's gotta be agonizing. I used to push carts when I was younger I worked at winco and even they have electric cart pushers. Some of the people I saw pushing carts looked like they could have had some help. It with the new car wash they really need to close the place down for a few days to rework or reroute the Parking lot. When I went In to get gas I had 5 car almost hit me weaving in and out of lines. They need too get a team of people to go there sit for a few days see how people act and drive and then lose the store to rework the parking lot so it very clear where to park for what even with the tire shop they don't got a great set pup for parking . Worst Costco location!! The self-checkout assistants are never helpful. I got a bag of beef stew and by the time I reached the checkout it was dripping, and when I asked for any help. She looked at me and told me I have to go myself!! I told her I'm not taking it anymore she was then happy to take it from me and find some paper towels to wrap it in!! And when I asked some help scanning 3 honest juice boxes, she gave me a look and told me these are light and you can add them to the scanner. Love Costco. Bulk prices to bulk goods. This location is a bit more massive due to the large parking lot (Texas sized parking spots? YEP! Thank god for that since I hate compact parking). They introduced burgers in the food court which is quite good, well worth the $5 but a bit pricier than the other cheap options (everything is at cost or below it in the food court, so can't complain much there). Not much else to say besides that this locations lines moved pretty efficiently and I was in and out in a jiffy. read more

The old but gold status! It's right downtown/ near the stadium and behind the train tracks. Parking lot is huge but you always have to fight for it. Still much bigger than most in the area. Definitely better than that kirkland crazy one!! Close to downtown but far enough! Deals are great on many things you don't need! And things you want. The food court is inside as opposed to outside like most. You can just order things from the machines/computers screens! Ready to pick up in a few! Car wash is also here on the opposite end of the parking lot along with their tire center and gas station thought I've never been to either!! Usually it's just an in and out with a whole lot more than what you came for place!! Dog beds ( diff kind every time cause it's cheap), champagne, seafood, wine! Massive bottles of vitamins!!!! Especially on the weekends, this Costco is insane. Be prepared to circle the lot trying to find parking (or park super far away). When inside, it is bumper to bumper traffic with the carts and you truly have to "merge" into a lane on the main aisles. However, don't let it deter you...the checkout process is always really fast. The cashiers are clearly well trained in chaos and now that there are self-check out kiosks, people with only a few items don't have as long of a wait. Also, even the self-check out kiosks are well-staffed, so you don't have to lift heavy items out of your cart and to direct traffic as kiosks become available. Also, for those who don't know, this Costco has a car wash! Not only is it a good price, but it's a great wash too (on par with Brown Bear car washes). So get your groceries, get your gas and then get a car wash! read more

It's Costco! ...It seems no matter when I go, there is always a ton of people here. (I can't even imagine what weekends must be like here.) Subsequently, the food court is usually busy and parking at this location is kind of a mess, too. I've learned that the best way is to drive around the back of the store to avoid that awkward/congested 4 way stop near the main entrance. I do love the new amenities Costco is implementing-- & this location has 'em all: kiosks in the food court, a self-service checkout!, an automated car wash, crosswalk signs that blink to alert drivers to stop, and the (large) gas station even has indicators showing which tanks are open...which encourages people to drive through when the front and middle tanks open up. My boyfriend came into this Costco to do an Insta cart shop order. as he was walking in, he watched the greeter let everyone in front of him pass without having their membership cards checked, but was stopped for his. First Seattle Costco also the very first Costco they have a small plaque and a original piece of the 1st wall which is kind of cool that it acknowledges the history of the building. Are they taking Covid seriously? yes. Communication of policies / procedures for covid need to be better communicated as a courtesy. Signage for relevant info such as early shopping hours (for high risk/ seniors/ pregnant women), masks, and social distancing in the queue isn't available. People need to be reminded to socially distance when grabbing a $4.99 chicken and their dairy products- etc. For example, today I stopped in and there is a line up of very cold and confused people all wondering why they need to wait 40 minutes to get into the store ( it is senior hour). It took me asking an associate what was happening to be informed. I turned around and exited- I wasn't dressed properly to stand in 46 degree rain. Would very much have liked to have the courtesy of a sign.... Something so simple as 11"x17" sheet of paper with "Senior Hour 9-10AM" hand written by the carts could have saved me 30 minutes so I didn't get out of my car, get wet, and waste part of my morning. read more

For the most part all the employees here are really nice. Especially the peeps in the glasses Dept! The place could be a little bigger for how busy it gets sometimes, but it's not too bad. They run a pretty tight ship here. Then, you stroll over to the printing Dept, not the photo Dept but the one farther back in the store and you can see the black cloud hovering over them. They get a F for friendliness from me. I've stopped in a couple times and both times i could see the "hate for customer" in the eyes. Hopefully they can get a vacation or something soon.. I don't believe this is the norm for most Costco employees. Cheers This update is for costco DS water service. Every summer they will just stop showing up with no explanation. This has affected our business operations . They don't seem to care at all if you cancel the service. We have been using them for over 10 years and we've put up with it but this is getting ridiculous. Update for DS Water Services - We canceled the service in August and now its Feb and they still haven't picked up the equipment and are still charging us for it. I like to call this the "stress-free" Costco that every other branch should aspire too. Let me count the ways: 1. Enormous parking lot and a clear and easy path to enter and leave the facility. We never seem to have issues with finding a spot. 2. All the amenities you need: gas, car wash, onsite optometrist, tire center. 3. Very clean food court area with some nice features like self-serve coffee machine and beef chili on the menu. 4. Super-spacious aisles and walkways. First off, the employees at this Costco are extremely rude and unhelpful when you ask them a question. That being said everyone drives liKe idiots and will run you over just to get a parking spot! And the gas station is a joke. Long lines and people cutting other people off just to get gas. Moving here from living in Kirkland for over for 18 years is a total shock for us. I will miss having the Kirkland Costco less than 5 minutes away from our house. And everyone that works at the Kirkland Costco are extremely friendly and helpful. This Costco was the closest one to our hotel. We went there after my boyfriend was done work. We first had dinner at the food court. The American food courts do not have fries, like the Canadian ones do. However, we got chili at this location. It is huge! We split it. He got a cheese pizza slice. I went with a hot dog. We got fountain drinks. The food was good. With my hot dog, it came with sauerkraut, which was a nice surprise. Afterwards, we went shopping. The clothing selection was good. I got a summer dress. He did more damage at this Costco. He got lightbulbs and razor blades that were dirt cheap. It was a nice visit. I'd come back here again. It was busy, but we managed to find a table to eat at in the food court and checked out fairly fast. Just a note that the US Costco stores still accept American Express as a payment option. Somebody at this Cosco really needs to get the parking situation under control and they need to paint lines on the ground it tell people where to go. I need to organize things cause it's the sending in the chaos and you have people from other countries that have no idea how to participate and stay to the right in their lane and they're swarming all around in the store and end up spilling food on the ground and making messes. Can you need to expand the parking lot and build an area where large cars can park in smaller cars can park or build an app for the parking but it's insane trying to park here on the weekend. read more

I was at Costco warehouse (4401 4th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134) earlier today. While I was waiting in line and trying to push my cart forward, I pulled my lower back and loss of function at that moment. I sat down on the floor as soon as my back was injured and trying to look for help, there was a staff name Feisal near me. I have difficulty walking at that time but the only option I have is walking toward him with my painful back injury and ask for help. As soon as I reach him, I explained to him how I was injured and what the whole situation is, he "eye-scanned" me from head to toe and told me he would not help (not he could not). I felt extremely racist at the moment. (A customer got injured, ask for help and he simply answered "no" to a injured customer? Seriously?) Since Feisal rejecting to help, I requested if he could call someone else to help me. He stood there "eye-scanned" me again and answered me a "no" once again. (I believe there's camera in the warehouse and could simply playback his racist reaction toward a injured customer, his reaction and answer were mind blowing.) I ended up walking all the way to customer service counter and ask other staffs for help. As I was waiting for help, I saw Feisal walks up to manger and keep finger-pointing at me while talking to the manger (I don't remember his name). So I decided to report his racist attitude to the manager, but obviously problem did not solve. Luckily I got help at the end all the way to my car. I was thankful who helps me earlier, I really appreciated that. Anyhow Costco, better off putting someone not racist at the front line and hire someone who's nicer and trained to handle any situation happening in the warehouse. read more
