Shopping in Seattle, Washington... Dollar Tree is another store that's not in Hawaii. I like to look for bargains - especially on artificial flowers (for the cemetery), greeting cards, sunglasses and reading glasses, stationary, kitchen gadgets, etc. I got a Stitch notebook and some hangers for my niece's closet... plus some artificial autumn leaves for my dad and grandparents. It was a good experience, especially because of the kind, efficient cashier. She managed the long line of customers well and had time to give me the key to the restroom and explain the location. Empty shelves, entire aisles with a scattered handful of items, and what they DO have hasn't moved for weeks. For months (maybe longer) the store has looked like it's closing since items aren't restocked like nearby DT stores are. And the cashier shouting "welcome to DOLLAR tree!" every time the door opens, even if someone leaves, is irritating! It sounds like a cartoon bird, other stores don't do it, so stop. At least they no longer block entire aisles with boxes, but if the shelves are empty, it doesn't matter. This is has been the closest Dollar Tree to me for years, and it's the absolute worst I've ever seen. read more

Experience was fine and my observation is more about the layout. When I walked into this location that I noticed were there dirty floors. The floors looked like someone stuck gum on them and tried to pull the gum off and in the process parts of the floor peeled off. As everything was cheap, I see the value in the products sold. It was strange to see empty shelves, and drag muted colors in this store. Maybe this is the vibe. Back in the 90's I remember the dollar store actually being colorful. Again, these are observations. Organized, clean and utterly inexpensive! I didn't know they had so much to choose from. Everything from art supplies, holiday stuff, seasonal paraphernalia and home goods; not to mention canned foods and non-perishables. If you're looking to save a penny or two on some staples, or gag gifts, kids stuff, etc. check it out. Even Mylar balloons are only $1! Ya gotta love dollar tree, you can pretty much get anything there. I Walked in with only a few bucks and left with a measuring cup, cleaning supplies, lip balm, and a silicone teether. They have a really large selection of seasonal offerings. Being that we're now in the holiday season, I'm hoping that they have an affordable Christmas tree, but I did see tree skirts, garlands, tinsel, lights, gift bags, tags and bows, and other various festive things. My only complaint would be the baby section, there were so many baby girl things (pink stuffies, pacifiers, bottles) and really very few for boys. This seems to occur everytime I've been here! I guess they sell out quickly, but it would be nice if they restocked the baby boy items a bit more, as my infant son wanted a stuffies and they only had like 3-4 pink ones and none of any other color. I'd really prefer to get him one in a more gender-appropriate color, and thus left empty-handed, stuffie-wise. My boyfriend is going to head back in on his way home, and see if they have any new stock, hopefully we'll get lucky. read more

This was one time a great store. Now it is the place the homeless come to fill bags of stuff and walk out without paying. When I asked an employee about it, they said they are told to just let the homeless steal the stuff. It must be a write off for some company. I do not go there any more. read more

In the past, I've brought in my own balloons and had them filled and it's been a good experience. No problems. Today is my little girl's birthday and when I brought in my balloons an employee was incredibly rude to me. She said. "No! We won't fill them. Company policy! " When I mentioned that I have had them filled in past years, she told me "You're mistaken!" She was a total B*#t@h! I would give no stars if I could. Never going back! read more

This isn't my favorite Dollar Tree when it comes to purchasing party supplies. I have found their selection limited, compared to other Dollar Trees. A good example are their streamers. I had no idea olive was a popular color...and the other color they had at the time was copper. Random. However, they do stock up on supplies for upcoming holidays and celebrations such as graduations and 4th of July. read more

A pretty good Dollar Tree, they sometimes have what I'm looking for. I went in today, on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one register open, and a very long line. Sorry, my time is worth more than that. I walked right out. I don't recommend coming here on the weekend unless you want to spend a long time waiting in line. read more

This is now my new favorite Dollar Tree location. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. The store is large, clean, well lite and the shelves are fully stocked. They have a freezer section in the back of the store filled with name brand frozen foods as well as generic brands. Greeting cards are only .50 cents each!!! They are stocked with a ton of party supplies, decor and crafting supplies. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only downfall at this point is that they don't accept Master Card Credit cards at this point because they're a new store. read more

My favorite Dollar Tree location in Seattle. Huge store with great supply of seasonal items and a friendly staff. We got about two thirds of our Halloween and Christmas decorations for our house here, and it turned out great. The people at the checkout line always provide recommendations and advice. read more

For the area, it's not bad inside at all! I had to stop in at night and just by the parking lot, I totally thought my car wouldn't be there when I came out. The parking lot is dark and there was a sketchy car parked in the corner. Inside is clean and bright and seemed well stocked. I just needed some cheap Christmas decorations for work. They were 2/$1 which is great. There was one cashier, and a few people in line, so somebody came out and helped check people through. She was friendly and efficient. read more

The Assistant Manager Angelina Grant should be the manager. Every time i go to the dollar tree there i always see her going out her way to help customers. She's always smiling and laughing with customers.I have been there a hand full of times. I always look to see if she is there because i know she will gladly help me find what im looking for. She carried two cases of Rock Star energy drink to my car. She offered to help me but i didn't expect her to do it all herself. There is a couple good employees at that location but Angelina brings the best joy with a smile that never goes away. I appreciate that after a long work day. This Dollar Tree is medium sized with free parking. Checkouts usually fast and the store well stocked. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered and messy due to the sketchy people who hang out along Aurora Ave and come in for the cheap buys. read more

I like Dollar Tree as you find a lot of good deals for simple things. It's always wise to stop there and check to see if they have something you can think of getting things like some of the groceries. I came in Friday night around 8:50 and the're was a woman working there named Yyevette and she was so unbelievably rude! I was walking down the candy isle and she was walking towards me and instead of moving to the side she rammed me into a shelve! Upon checking me out she grabbed and slammed my things and rolled her eyes while being sarcastically nice. I didn't say anything to her I just walked out in disbelief! i always go the Dollar Tree on Aurora and 132nd, but decided to try this one instead. What a mistake! Worse customer service experience I have ever had in my life! As I was shopping with my young son, he said he needed to go #2 so I looked for the bathroom. The customer bathroom was out of service, so I asked the manager if there was another bathroom he could use. She said no and that they were having a plumbing issue. I then asked what I was supposed to do as he could not hold it long. She told me she wanted me out of the store as I was rude (!!!!). Seeing that my son was about to cry, she finally said that he could use the door labeled "closet" which is actually the employee bathroom. Lo and behold, the other bathroom works just fine! I was going to thank her when leaving but she flipped me off and told me to get out of her store. I was very upset about her behavior in front of my son! Unfortunately, there was another manager in the parking lot who yelled at me I was rude and that she was going to take pictures of me and my car (license plate). I will never go to this store again and I can't believe the unbelievably rude attitude by BOTH managers in front of a child! read more
