Organized, clean and utterly inexpensive! I didn't know they had so much to choose from. Everything from art supplies, holiday stuff, seasonal paraphernalia and home goods; not to mention canned foods and non-perishables. If you're looking to save a penny or two on some staples, or gag gifts, kids stuff, etc. check it out. Even Mylar balloons are only $1! And they will refill the air for your own Mylar balloons for just $1. Whoa.

A huge and clean location chock full of seasonal items

However, I've been eyeing the grand opening of the new Daiso in Bitter Lake/North Seattle. It is located around the corner from Aurora Donuts and diagonal from Amazon Fresh, Ulta, and Planet Fitness. There's a shared parking lot and of course, located along Aurora so available via the Metro Rapid Ride E bus route. On the way to Ballard, I decided to swing by around 11:30am and check out this new location (6/1/24). It was nice to wander the aisles and look at a variety of items: plushies, kitchen/household goods, home/desk decor, personal care items, stationary, stickers, office supplies, storage items, crafting items, food items like ramen bowls, assorted bottled and canned beverages, teas, snacks, sweets, ad naseum. Pro tip: yes, it's a block away from Office Depot. But why have staid office supplies and stationary? When you can have fun and unique items instead from Daiso! The only line I saw was for the checkout, which was "terrible" because it allowed me to gawk at closely at potential impulse items, lol. The front counter was very efficient with upbeat staff, so not much of a wait. I managed to spend over $30, so I was given a grand opening goodie bag upon leaving. It actually had several useful items which was shared with The Homie. He's the one who introduced me to Daiso originally. Daiso may become my new retail therapy for budget minded shoppers. It was/is close to the house and had new items at lower price points than some of the stores at the nearest mall(s). The parking lot is large, shared, and can be a bit packed depending on how busy the store and other businesses in Aurora Square are. The store offers a variety of items in addition to clothes and shoes and we have purchased merchandise from each of the sections at some point or another. Food items have been especially fun to test out and sometimes I have gotten hooked on items I have only found here. On my most recent visit, today Friday 8 December 2023, I found the shelves well stocked and ready for the 2023 Christmas season. Looking for some gift items, I was reminded of how much fun it is just to look and see what is on the shelves. The different sections were easy to navigate and I enjoyed perusing the offerings. I got a seasonal reindeer 3 kitchen towel set as well as Reese's pieces themed socks for less than $20.00 with tax. The interior of the store has been updated since I was growing and retains a warm and welcoming feel.

She then tells me it's against the law to not have a photo ID on me (which is false) and goes into how you never know with how things are nowadays. That left me feeling very uncomfortable, icky and no longer willing to shop at this TJ Maxx.

It's a reduced price, not wholesale, place for chefs, cooks and restaurant owners to pick up bulk supplies for reasonable prices. They're not going to get any lower than this especially if you order through the mail. Today I picked up a case of monster energy drinks which is 24 for $38 and now I don't have to pay the ridiculous price of 3.79 each. There are supplies even for barista stands things like cups and stirrers and coffee syrups and coffee beans and the like. A good supply of essential professional cooking cookware like inserts, whips and utensils and some really good knives. For the bar there are dozens of different Frozen appetizers that patrons love like deep fried shrimp, chicken strips, zucchini, even pickles breaded, onion rings and other things like burritos, chicken strips and the like. They have a whole walk-in dairy refrigerator it's bigger than my bedroom which is quite nice when you need a lot of supplies and don't like the crowns of the supermarkets. No you do not need to be a member or have a special sign or club membership to shop here and no there is no fee for that it's just like a regular supermarket only with a different kind of display setup. In fact there is no display setup. They just open the containers for you to see what you're getting and then you can buy brand new containers of what you like. In some instances they will break a case like cleaning supplies, pinesol and other things too. Sometimes it's fun just to come out here because you never know what you see that will surprise you. Location could be better, it's off the beaten path past 130th Street North and Stone avenue North off to the east side kind of tucked away there. By the way, I still call it cash and carry because it has a nice ring to it.

I heard them talking and she was saying 'she liked the job except having to help 50 year-old people and older people. '. She said it's a fun job " if I don't have to talk to 50-year-olds'. . Well, I am over 50 years old. I don't bother anyone. I don't ask them questions, but I'd like to know I could if I'm shopping and have a question. I understand the younger generation disregard older people like we're useless. I pray that they make it to my age. And if they don't want to, I pray they die before they turn 50 so they don't have to experience old age . But that being said if you don't like working with older people, you should probably not be in customer service because we do shop a lot. But if you work in customer service, you have to be smart enough to know that you will deal with all kinds of people She kept going on and on about how useless older people are, and she can't stand talking to them I feel bad for her grandparents. That girl might wanna look for a new job that she doesn't have to deal with people my age. What she said was extremely discriminatory and offensive.
