I love Costco, they sell everything you could want but in bulk! The produce are always high quality, the bakery has delicious croissants, and I love everything from the meat department. And after you're done shopping it's almost mandatory to stop at the food court and get a polish dog combo for $1.50! Plus they now take debit cards, so no more need to make sure you have cash. Overall it's a great place to: get gas, buy groceries, pick up clothes, books and movies, all while treating yourself to the samples. read more

Costco - Tires Near Me - Sandy, Utah

This Costco is less packed than it used to be- which is awesome since it is right down the street from me. They almost always have what I'm looking for. They are quick with checkout. Samples are good. Prices are good. Quality on everything is great. Returns are uneventful and easy. Carts are big and spacious. Good selection on clothing etc. Fuel line is usually busy but moves quite quickly. Pizza is amazing. 1 complaint is that the food court is always understaffed. I am a huge fan of this Costco! read more

Buying bulk is always best when you're planning ahead. Costco's got ya covered when it comes to that. My girlfriend and I decided to get a membership about a year ago and have no regrets whatsoever. We stock up on paper towels, dish soap, contact lens cleaner, and a bunch of other stuff you know you're going to need a lot of. They also have an amazing bakery with their signature muffins and croissants, a gigantic meat section with decently priced quality meats, and some awesome bulk snacks that will last you forever! Don't go during busy times! There's a cart or a person every which way you turn. The best time to go, like most places in Sandy, is on Sunday morning. It was 6:00 closing time for Sunday when I breathlessly ran into the store carrying a printer I had bought only 3 days ago but didn't really need. It seemed like a good idea at the time since a new printer was less expensive than buying new ink for my old one. Today I needed to unshop that whim. The gal checking receipts tried to halt me at the door while looking at her long lone of still to black slash receipts. I looked at the return counter and the kindest smile said it's ok come on in. Daniel was his name and he is the sole reason for my 5 star review. He took care of my return with a smile and no worries don't stress. Wow that was just what I needed. Seriously they upped the memberships and now they are checking every card to make sure you are the right person. I own a business and I have a business account with Costco also the executive one... I had to send my daughter over to buy waters, foils etc... for the business. They blocked my account and told her they would arrest her if she ever tried using my account again! I have tried talking to managers with the same frustrating results. They need a manager now to come over and make sure it's me before they can override the block. I feel like a damn criminal just trying to get my supplies! Seriously Costco go shove it up your a.. Sam's club you can make the thousands I spend every year. Ridiculous! read more

So this is the Costco I regularly shop at. I have always gone in through the exit or the returns section to get to the food court. Well today I did the same thing but apparently their view on entering this way has changed. Instead of letting this slide or one person telling me it was no longer allowed, I was yelled at by 2 people and made to go back out and enter in through the entrance. Talk about humiliating since they were yelling across the store!! Their employees should treat customers a little better. It is not like Costco's food court is member exclusive even (I am a member but lived in California where most food courts are outdoors). This is not the first time I have been treated rudely so I figured I would write a review. The one over by the hospital in Murray is WAY better with AMAZING management! They can be PACKED on a Saturday and they know how to get you out very quickly. I will be driving a little farther to go to that one from now on since this location does not seem to know how to treat their customers. read more

I know we don't like the delightful card-check upon entering, or the sticker shock at checkout, or taking the awkward bought goods out to your car in poorly sized boxes. But the prices are great! The precooked food is awesome! The pumpkin pies are the things of legend! It's the best place to buy a TV and a mattress and get snacks on Saturdays! We love you Costco! read more

Costco only requires it stores to have 3 electric carts. You have only a cement bench alongside the wall to sit on to wait. When a cart dose become available you better hobble after it before someone else gets it or you are out of luck and this is early on weekdays. Unless you have to come here go to Wal-Mart or Macy's where they care about disabled customers. read more

Can't beat Costco! I have been a member for years they have what I need, the prices are good and I max out my rebate every year. As for the haters of Costco wake up yes it's a bulk store. Yes you have to wait to get your tires put on your car get over it. Yes there are rude customers who cut you off slam into your cart and have way too many kids. The customers suck and if you are bored you can people watch all the freaks and self important losers who sometimes shop here. You have to take the good with the bad the the store and staff does not suck. This review is for the food court. This review is also for this particular location at this particular time. Normally I love Costco food court and eat here almost every time we come. However currently management for the food court is doing horrible. The pizza dough is being rushed, not being risen and also not being cooked all the way through. They aren't judge the demand of their customers properly resulting in customers having to wait extra time for items. They are also telling their employees to yell at their customers to be in two lines when they have not setup themselves for two lines. Only reason try got two stars instead of one is because it still Costco food so their rep and previous experiences gives them the added star. read more

Don't buy tires from Costco Sandy. They do not honor the manufacturer's warranty. I bought a set of tires there and when I discovered they were worn down to the point of not being safe, I went to get a new set of tires. I fully expected a pro-rated discount on the new set since I still had 40k miles left on the tire warranty. All four tires had worn equally and I had rotated my tires every 5k miles or so. The manager must have been disgruntled or something and wouldn't honor the warranty. I promptly went down the road and bought a new set (and two new sets since then) from the Costco competitor. This was disappointing since we have always had good experiences at this Costco; however, not in the tire store. So, my recommendation is to never buy tires from Costco. read more

It's a Costco. They are all usually the same. This Costco has an issue with handling the amount of people that are in their store. Often there are only about 5 check out lanes open and the lines are clear back into the aisles, blocking those particular aisles. If you have just a few things, someone will come and scan your stuff so when you get to the front it's quick. Which is great, but there are 4+ other check out lanes that are not open. It would be nice if they would have extra staff during the really busy times and have those lanes open. That way your not standing in line for 20 minutes for two things. read more

Took my pickup in today for a tire rotation. Knowing it would be very busy (Saturday) went prepared to leave it. Got there around 1:00 and was told it would be 2 1/2 hours and I'd be called when it was done. No problem. Hadn't heard anything by 5:00 so I called. No answer. Drove there. At 5:30 I was told it wasn't done yet. Was told I should have been quoted 4-5 hrs, like I was expecting too much. Was told it would be another 45 minutes. Took my truck and left. I know Costco doesn't care if they lose my tire business, but I care. read more

Terrible location - only 2 very roundabout ways to get into the parking lot. WAY too busy every day of the week; not just weekends. They need another location to serve Sandy/Draper/Riverton. i have a love hate relationship with costco. on one hand they have amazing products and food for such great prices! good customer service and their return policy can't get any better. on the other hand i go in with my list (fruit, vegetables, wild salmon, etc.) and come out with a lot more than that. did i intend on also picking up a new sonicare toothbrush, water pitcher, water filter, sparkling water, etc.? no, but once i saw them i knew i needed them! i can't help walking down each aisle to see if they have anything new - inventory seems to change often so if you saw something one week it may not be there the following week. samples are always fun as i hate buying a bulk amount of food only to find out i hate it. they also have a great flower department. they do carry a lot of high end things here for a good price. i've gotten my dyson vacuum and vitamix blender from here and it was cheaper than anywhere else. my vitamins are super cheap and so are the OTC medicine. do i really need 365 pills for my seasonal allergies? no, but it's cheaper than buying 30 pills at target. and i love a bargain. so i buy medicine here and make my family take some. i've also noticed that they are carrying more organic and gluten free products here - which makes me love costco even more! the downsides are of course parking and the check out lines. i do like that the parking spots are larger and i don't mind a few extra steps. unless i'm in a hurry, but really you shouldn't be in a hurry if you're going to costco. the check out lines move pretty fast - they do an awesome job with that and cashiers are always friendly. this location is ALWAYS busy. it doesn't matter what day of the week it is or what time of the day it is. i have tried to sneak here on weekdays at 10:00, 2:00, 4:00, odd times that i assume most people are at work. i even sometimes think that coming on sunday would help as people don't shop then. WRONG! this place is always packed, but i've gotten used to it. if i go to the murray or west valley location in the middle of the day i'm always surprised at how quiet it is. they really should build a costco in draper - that would be great. or not.... seeing how i might just move in then. read more

Ive been a Costco member for years. They have always had great customer service. I dont know what happened. We ordered from them online and received half our order and they wouldnt send the other half. They blame UPS for us not receiving it. The problem is I didnt order from UPS and dont know why its my problem to deal with them on an incomplete order. Oh well Ill do my shopping at Sams Club from now on. read more

I love this Costco, the staff is enjoyable at the center itself but the reason they didn't get 4 stars is due to the pharmacy. I understand that it is a busy place but every time I go there the pharmacy staff seems to be pissed off. They are rude in line and rude on the phone. I sent my daughter in to pick up a prescription. I told her she didn't need the card since one doesn't need a membership to use the pharmacy. This is what happened to her: " I went to Costco to pick up my dogs prescription at the pharmacy. I had left my Costco card at home but thought it would be fine since those who are not members are still able to use the pharmacy. When I tried to walk in and Angel would not let me through since I did not have my card with me I told him that I was a member but left my card at home and needed to pick up my dogs prescription. He kept interrupting me and kept talking over me saying that if I'm not a member I need to leave. It was a conversation going in circles and he was extremely rude and he began to raise is voice at me. Another door guard told him she would walk me over there and he told her no, she cannot come in. He told me to go to customer service since I was not a member after I told him many times that I was. He would not listen to a word I had to say. I walked over to the other side and started walking towards the restroom to calm down since I was very upset about how I had been treated. Angel chased me down yelling saying that I need to leave the store. I told him that I am not leaving until I use the restroom and get my dogs medicine. He then proceeded to call over someone and said that I needed to be escorted out of the store and was not "allowed" to be there. After a supervisor came over I told him I just needed to get the medicine and that I left my card at home and was not being let in. The supervisor said that it was fine for me to go through the store but I needed a escort to take me to the pharmacy since the new policy change. I was fine with that but was extremely mad that Angel didn't tell me this and simply told me to get out of the store rather than explaining this to me. He did not want to help me one bit. He also told the manager that I was "lying" because I said I needed to use the restroom and told him I needed the pharmacy (didn't know I wasn't allowed to do both?). I asked the supervisor "so you guys will let me in then?" And he said "yes, we just need to have someone escort you." And I said " so HE (pointing at Angel) will let me in?" And he said yes. I went back to the entrance and waited for my escort. By then I was already in tears because I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life or been so publicly humiliated. I had to walk through the whole store while i cried and everyone noticed. I was embarrassed in front of the whole store, employees and customers and felt like I was being treated like a criminal all because I was trying to pick up my dogs medication. I will never bring my business back to this company after being harassed by an employee like that. " I got a call from my daughter while she was there when this was happening and could hear some of the conversation. She was in tears and being chased down by this militarized employee, Angel. I was in shock and in much distress as to the way my daughter had been treated. What kind of company would let someone like that greet their customers? I called a manager, Heidi, right after my phone call with my daughter and told her what was happening. She went to find her but my daughter had already left. She apologized for the situation and said she would have a meeting with her staff. I went in the next day to cancel our membership after 15 years of business with them. I have been paying them to treat my child this way... They asked my why and I told them what happened. They were very sympathetic to the situation and asked if a $20 gift card would change my mind. Really?....Thanks, but no thanks. Its a matter of principals, human decency and great customer service which is not happening at the Sandy Costco store. They could have at least sent a letter of apology to my daughter. They said that there have been a lot of theft going on so they changed the policy about people coming without a card and wandering the store. Classifying non-members as thieves. Update: They have taken care of the problem a while back now. read more
