Customer Service here sucks. I called about 8 different tire shops before coming in here. I just needed to replace four my of tires off my car and I do have the tires in hand, I just need them to replace, Mount and balance the tires I have. The gentlemen quoted me $12.95 a tire. So I drove from herriman to here, and when I went inside, no one was friendly or welcoming and I had to wait for the old dude in his little office to finish talking to his family member or something since he said "I'll talk to you later, love you" and he came out and I told him I had called half an hour ago about the tires and he told me yes. It's $12.95 to mount and balance and $4 a tire. Really??? Anyways, he gave me an attitude saying if I want to just drop off the car. And I said "really? Just to mount and balance tires off my car I'd need to leave it and come back?" And I do see their garage, their mechanics/techs just hanging out with nothing to do, so obviously they're not busy. And he told me it takes 45 mins to do, and I said that I can just wait. No need to drop off my car. Customer service here is no good. And btw, while I'm here at the lobby, I'm looking at their price bulletin and it says $9.00 to mount and balance a tire. A lot of price discrepancy here. read more

Love coming to this location for all of my tire needs. They so far can beat any price, compared to - Discount Tire, Les Schwab, Burt Brothers, Walmart, Costco, Pep boys and Big O Tires. I always show around first to make sure I am not getting taken to the cleaners. :-) They don't try to upsell or pull a fast one on you. They work with many police agencies and highway patrol cars. Maybe that is why they get such good prices?!? It is fun to chat with the folks at the counter they are so entertaining and make the short wait very fun. Well you never know when you will need service. This month was my month. I just knew somehting was wrong. It wasnt a noise I could imitate. I dont know the year of my auto. I barely know the make. But I do know Hillside tire will take care of me. I dont need an appointment. I drive there. They drop me off home. After checking the auto out they call with the issue and a quote. The work is just done. I have to do nothing and I have complete confidence in them. I picked up my auto this morning and it works great!! Once every leap day on a blood moon, you find a mechanic that's friendly, affordable, offers quick service, and does an outstanding job. Apparently, yesterday was a blood moon leap day. I had winter tires that needed to be put on rims and exchanged on the car. Even though Costco said they would do it at another store, when I showed up, they refused to help since I didn't buy the tires from them. So I searched in Yelp, saw this place was right up the road, and that they had high reviews. Hillside did not disappoint. The guy was extremely friendly. The work was completed much quicker than I expected. And when I picked up the car, I was shocked that they only charged me less than $60. I paid twice that at S Pointe tire last spring. I even asked, "Is that really the total?" The owner asked if I thought he should charge me more. I said, "No, it just means I'll be back." I'll definitely be back. read more

Stopped by for issues on my truck's front struts. The Manager told me they're not very skilled when dealing with them and don't want to have to re-work the issues if the mechanic doesn't do it right. Disappointing, as I've used them in the past and was pleased. New management doesn't have the same positive attitude as the last one. read more

I've been into this store several times. Every single time they have taken extremely good care of me . I went in at one point for tires and they found me a better price on all four tires than I could get anywhere else. Yesterday I went in because my car was making a really bad noise in the front end and I was so worried it was going to be something serious. It turned out to be just a rock behind my rotor. They removed it and let me know exactly what happened . I feel like they could have taken advantage of me and charged me a lot for the service and possibly said it was something else but they didn't they were so honest and so helpful . Friendly staff. I've only gotten my car smogged there which required a reservation and didn't take an exorbitant amount of time but definitely longer than Valvoline which didn't even require you to get it off your car, no reservation and really quick. Took our car to the hillside tire in draper last week for issue with breaks and heater and they did a great job. Today when driving on the freeway the car started smoking so we had it towed (planning to tow it back to the draper location). Accidentally told the tow truck to go to this location instead, but thanks to the Draper location working with this location everything was fixed by the end of the day FOR NO CHARGE! I just want to offer my complete support to this business. I am actually in the collision industry, and understand the necessity for proper customer service. I called this shop Friday morning, which I know is a busy day, to ask them if they could check out my BMW with a minor oil leak. They willingly took the car in, asked me to leave it, and within a couple hours had it diagnosed and found out that it was just a problem with the oil filter gasket from a previous oil change. They repaired the problem for me at no charge, and also recommended replacing a couple of other worn items. They also recommended not going to the dealer for those parts as they're available after market. So as to save me money.
