My experience with Dr Le was unfortunately not a great one. She kept insisting that my need for corrective lenses was my own fault and that I needed to perform eye yoga on a regular basis to correct this. She insisted that I relax my eyes and try to get the letters on the exam chart to focus during my exam on lines I couldn't normally read. As a result, I had a prescription that provided double vision and an inability to recognize faces, read, or see clearly 20 feet away. She said she intentionally gave me a lower prescription and to keep doing my eye yoga to make the prescription better at home. I came back to the office a week later frustrated and expressed my ongoing concern to Dr. Le. I wasn't able to function properly at work and was consistently getting headaches trying to focus my vision to "normalcy." She was clearly irritated with me and said I wasn't trying hard enough with the eye yoga. I've been wearing glasses for the last 30 years and have never experienced this with any other optometrist. After a bit of resistance she reluctantly gave me a stronger (but still not strong enough) prescription and insisted that I continue doing eye yoga at home. I had to deal with this poor prescription for the rest of the year to avoid additional fitting and exam fees, which continues to be frustrating. Extremely unimpressed and will definitely not be back.

I don't write many reviews, but felt like I wanted to because of the exceptional service we had. My kids were pretty nervous about having their eyes examined. However, with Dr. Nguyen's calm and friendly demeanor; she was able to keep my kids at ease during the entire exam. She was very thorough with her exams and even showed my kids how healthy their eyes were on the monitor. She also answered any questions I had and I didn't feel like she was rushing through the exam which was very nice and professional. My son had no issues with his eyes but my daughter is near sighted and she wasn't a fan of wearing her glasses so I wanted to look into Ortho K for her. Dr. Nguyen was very informative about the process and even mentioned that her son had started at age 10. I wanted to preserve her sight so I decided to get Ortho K for my daughter. The whole process was so easy and Dr Nguyen was able to teach my 11 year daughter how to put on, remove and clean her Ortho K contacts. I was initially worried whether she would be able to put on and remove her Ortho K contacts. Dr. Nguyen was so patient and encouraging to my daughter while teaching her. She was able to walk her through it with confidence. The results were amazing... Within 1-2 days, my daughter was able to see without her glasses. She was overjoyed because she was able to see her classroom white board and play volleyball without her glasses. No more squinting around the house... We went back for a follow-up to ensure her contacts were fitting well and Dr. Nguyen performed another eye exam. I liked that she took the initiative to ensure that my daughter's contacts were sitting comfortably on her eyes. Her exam showed that she was seeing 20/20 so I was extremely happy with the results. I myself got a pair of prescription reading glasses from Dr. Nguyen after all these years of having 20/20 vision... Before seeing Dr. Nguyen, I tried wearing the store bought ones but they always made me dizzy since they were too strong... My advice is to go see Dr. Nguyen and get a prescribed pair. I'm really happy with the prescription and the cute frames I got. No more stretching my arms out to see paperwork, menus, my phone, etc....
