My pregnant wife was 15 minutes EARLY to her APPOINTMENT. (We have purchased 2 sets of glasses here previously within the family) She waited patiently for approximately an HOUR and a 1/2 more. STILL WAITING, nothing said to her from the two receptionist behind the desk, it was like they completely forgot about her sitting there in the waiting area or just didn't care. Her eyes have been bothering her for the last week now, and very much needed an appointment, but we will be spending the money for frames and lenses somewhere else. Additionally, due to the level of unprofessionalism shown today, my family will not return. Instead, we'll go to Walmart, where hopefully our APPOINTMENT TIME will be respected, and our time is not wasted. How terribly rude and completely unprofessional. One last thing, as a previous customer I can tell you that you wouldn't want to buy your frames from here anyways. They have an extremely limited amount of frames to choose from, unless you want to look like super dork, with outdated Monicals that the geek squad would make fun of. Nest time they should ...... I came here 4 years ago, but hadn't remembered until I arrived. I wasn't sure about the place because of the photo on the website. I was wondering if if Dr. Stacy Le was a little too sexy, but I l really, really liked her. She was great and so through, and very easy to talk to. Staff was great too!! To begin, I made an appt after reading many favorable reviews about Dr. Bell and researching their website. I even filled out the medical history form available on their website after I made my appt in the hopes of shortening my wait time. What I learned after I arrived was that Dr. Bell had already retired and that the form on that page is outdated and void so I would have to fill out another 2 (for my kids). The whereabouts of the personal information I entered on their website remains a mystery wrapped inside an enigma. We proceeded with the appts and Dr. Lee was very friendly but gave me some inaccurate information about the cost of contact lenses. She said they're much cheaper these days (her estimate was around $120) and said my insurance covered everything else needed for contacts. When it was time to pay, the contacts were much higher than estimated and I was nickel and dimed for things like contact lens training. They wouldn't let us proceed with the order without paying for instructions on how to insert, remove and care for contacts which I already knew. Against my better judgment and since we already had the exams done and glasses picked out, I completed and paid for my order trying to stay optimistic. One of my kids got her glasses within a week which was great. My other kid was left waiting for 2 weeks until I called in and was told her frames were not only lost in transit, but apparently the last set of those specific frames they would ever have so we had to go back in to choose another pair. I wasn't happy about that at all. Another note, my 1st kids glasses appeared to have one of the lenses sticking out past the frame as if it wasn't pushed in all the way. We drove back to inquire about this and was told that the prescription was just strong and therefore, thick and protruding. Not the biggest deal but it would've been nice to know this tidbit when we picked out the frames. Had I known this information upfront, I might have suggested we choose thicker frames. They were all very nice but with so many things going wrong for our first visit, it will also be our last visit. read more

Dr. Bell and his staff provides the most comprehensive eye analysis. They explain thoroughly and then prescribe the right glasses and eye care. If you haven't visited lately go in and ask about there eye glass specials. They never suggest costly eye glasses if not needed. In fact, I am still wearing the same prescription for the last 20 years and my eyes sight is improving. read more

Great eye exam and ideal selection of lenses! I have always had 5-star experience with these top rated optometrists in Corona. I've dealt with both of their eye doctors working there and both are true eye care professionals. My eye exam is always detail oriented, and my glasses prescription was selected better than I could imagine. You can't beat the 40+ years of experience they have. It does count a lot to me! The atmosphere in the office is very pleasant, and I found the office to be very clean and organized. I love the large selection of frames they offer, which makes it easier for me to match the style to my face. I would for sure recommend this optometrist to my family. read more

I've worn glasses everyday since the first grade, so I know what I like and that's quality and service. Since moving to Corona 16 years ago, we've never used a local optometrist, opting to return as needed to our guy in Los Alamitos. Then he unfortunately died (RIP Cory Weaver, Sixty Minute Spectacles) leaving us looking for a new optometrist here in town. I took a chance on Circle City primarily based on good Yelp reviews. All good! I just picked up replacement lenses for my Ray Bans with a moderately complicated prescription. Very satisfied with their service and the lenses. We had been going to this facility for years, at first they were great. However, over the years they got bad. I say this because, years ago my child was prescribed glasses. However, a few days ago we found out that she did not need them at all. Then, another family member was only prescribed glasses. Unfortunately, today we found out that he was not properly diagnosed with an eye condition that he has had for years. The eye doctors and staff are not ethical or professional. Dr. Venus was wonderful. The whole staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. Walked in without an appointment and they were quick to help me and work with my insurance. The only downside to the whole experience was how slow it took for my frames to arrive. My old frames of 3 years broke suddenly and without warning (probably old age) and I needed a replacement, which is what led me here in the first place. They took me in and prescribed me new ones, yet over a month later, I still don't have them. I've been calling in for the past 3 weeks and kept getting the promise of "Surely, next week they should be coming in." I initially thought I wouldn't mind the wait, but what we'd forced to work with superglue for the first couple of weeks no longer holds up that my current glasses forever sits crooked on my face and keeps falling loose, warping my vision and giving me headaches at work. I need them to see and make out features of the objects around me so I've been left feeling handicapped the past week. I wouldn't recommend them for urgent cases. read more

I've been going to Dr. Bell's office for many years for my glasses and contacts. Dr. Bell is always very nice and he always explains my results to me after every exam. The first year I went to Dr. Bell I thought that he was rude but it turns out that that is just the way that he is he's not unpersonable but he's not a super excitable person at least to his patients. He's just pretty professional and gets the job done. I always get my glasses very quick and I always get trial contacts to order contacts to tide me over until my box comes in. The office staff is always very friendly and they send email reminders as well as do phone calls and schedule follow-up appointments. I will continue to go to Dr. Bell as I have nothing bad to say about him. read more

I truly feel that Dr Bell is the best eye doctor in our community. I have gone through 3 other local optometrists and wasn't as impressed with the results, since they couldn't adjust my glasses to the perfection that Dr Bell did. Thanks to this optometrist I can now see like a hawk! Reading no longer makes my eyes tired and I feel more confident driving at night as the glare doesn't bother me as much. The eye exam was very detailed, the staff was very helpful, and getting my glasses was quick, so overall the get an A grade from me. Hope this doctor continues his 40+ years journey in his optometry business. I don't think there are many optometrists with this amount of experience. Absolutely horrible experience with this optometrist office. Was billed for contact lens fitting fees despite having insurance coverage for it. Found out months later that fraudulent charges were made to the insurance for the same fitting fees I was told were not covered and contacts that were never purchased. Has taken months to resolve the situation between this office and insurance company, meanwhile I have not been able to receive any glasses because my lens benefits were supposedly used up. While the office has recently refunded part of the payment, I have no intention of returning here. read more

This office does not provide an honest experience. Yes I was refunded for the contacts I paid for and never received yet I was still charged for the contact exam. The first exam I received was the wrong rx and yes questions I asked the doctor were NOT answered even though my questions pertained to dry eye issues which is a symptom Dr. Bell advertises treating. The office manager made excuses to cover up a bad exam and wrong rx. The lies in the manager's inboxed were disturbing. A patient has every right to leave an honest review. I'm a glasses wearing girl and love to have different options, they've worked with me in finding glasses and helping me order ones that I've wanted that they didn't have in stock. They are honest when helping me pick out frames which I love! Dr. Bell has been exceptional when I've voiced concerns when it comes to my vision and helped keep my eyesight on point. This place was sold by Dr. Gary Bell a couple of years ago!!! The only reason it has more than a 1 star rating is because of all the 5 star ratings we gave Dr. Gary Bell. HE RETIRED AND SOLD this now awful place a couple years ago. I went here for over 10 years and loved it. It is awful now! Dr. Guerrero is like 100 years old and not competent. He doubled my prescription over only a year. I asked him should I worry, he ignored it, as if he doesn't make mistakes. I went to target optical once I started getting headaches, and sure enough, my prescription was wrong!! He doubled what the correction should have been. They have a crappy lame eyeglass selection too. If you have a teen who wants cool glasses to look in style in high school, DO NOT COME HERE. Again, compare to target. It's a shame Gary Bell had to retire. I enjoyed seeing him for almost 12 years. This place absolutely sucks now. I hope their overall star rating continues to drop as people leave the one star that they deserve. It's not fair they get to keep the high 5 star ratings they earned before Dr. Gary Bell sold his practice to the idiots that run it now. read more

I walked in without an appointment and the young lady in front was able to take me in that same day although they were extremely busy! Won't ever go here again. Got glasses and prescription was wrong. Sent glasses back in and waited a month to get them back. Came back and prescription still wrong and blurry view. Also were not adjusted correctly and crooked on my face. Wasted hundreds of dollars here. Look elsewhere. read more
