We have been going to ProView for a number of years. This is a new larger location for us. This was a visit during cOVID-19. So you needed to get your appointment ahead of time the temperature check and ask your screening questions at the door. They are sanitizing in between customers. They also have a process in place for when you go to try and check on glasses to ensure they are clean. Got fitted for contacts for the first time in a long while. Was was a simple process and I appreciated them taking the time to explain what my options were. Pretty good selection of glasses. Picked up both pair of regular glasses as well as some custom prescription sunglasses. read more

I was searching for a new Optometrist and came across ProView. Today was my first appointment with Dr. Arabi. Such an amazing team! All of the ladies at the front were warm and friendly. Joseph brought me back and got me started on some tests and was so friendly and patient. Irene helped me choose some glasses and was super helpful and nice. Liz took care of everything else and explained all my options and was really nice. Most of all, Dr. Arabi was super patient and kind, answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. My family have been patients at this location for more than 15 years and today my mom was regrettably met with disappointing news. Her scheduled appointment was cancelled because they noted she had not confirmed via text prior to attending her appointment. My mom is a caregiver and has to go through several hoops to arrange time for her own health appointments. She is also Spanish-speaking only and is not able to understand automated text message systems in English. If this is the policy in place, we should have been made aware at the time that we made the appointment so that her children could be vigilant of those communications to avoid her appointment being at risk of cancellation. This level of inflexibility, poor communication of policies, and lack of courtesy is unacceptable. We will no longer go to this office for our vision health screenings. It's also important to note that not all patients have the capacity to text message or for various reasons are unable to understand what is being asked. Healthcare (which includes vision screenings) should be as accessible as possible and this includes instances when there is a lack of language concordance. Hopefully ProView takes this into account and ensures their front office staff communicates policies clearly and effectively. read more

I recently changed insurance and I had to change optometrist. I was recommended Proview by a family member and I was amazed of how clean, modern, and organized this place was. When you first walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff. After the tech takes you back and explains to you step by step exactly what they will be doing, they explained how each tool and equipment works and helps you get comfortable with the process. The doctor is amazing! He is so patient and answered all my questions. And they helped me pick out new frames that compliment me. The whole staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time seeing the New doc! Very impressed with the upgrade he did with the office. The staff with nice & friendly! All the girl always had a smile on their faces. which is always nice to see. But to have so much staff.. you would think they would answer the phone quicker. The dislike for me was : there wasn't any prices on the glasses ,every time I wanted to know the price the girl had to go in the back to check it which took about like four minutes every time. I personally rather know the price right then there . I can't lie the young lady was very attentive to me but in the same sense when I'm looking at glasses I don't really need you right next to me.Overall great experience. Found Dr. Arabi looking for an Optometrist for an "Urgent Appointment" to check on my eyes. The staff answering the front desk are super considerate and answered right away and connected me to Dr. Arabi ASAP. Talked to Dr. Arabi one on one through phone day of, on call/FaceTime and he addressed all my concerns and offered to do 2 check ups, even though they are temporarily closed. Office and waiting room was SUPER nice and clean. This guy is NOT A DOCTOR. He CLAIMS he is a "Glaucoma Specialist." He nearly blinded my wife and is not even a surgeon who can treat Glaucoma with a laser or surgery. So how does an optometrist get to claim he is a "specialist" for Glaucoma? GO ELSEWHERE or call and ask WHERE DID HE DO HIS GLAUCOMA TRAINING FOR 1-2 YEARS, TO MAKE HIM A GLAUCOMA SPECIALIST???? I came here with my prescription to get new glasses and my experience didn't actually start the best because everyone was busy went I got there and it took surprisingly long to retrieve my vision insurance information. However I have to admit that the service was great once someone came to assist me. Amy helped me with my choice and made sure that I was comfortable with it before we went through with the order. She started by asking about my preferences and then pre-selected some frames for me while I was looking as well in case she missed anything that I would like. She also gave great advice and trust me she really knows what she's talking about . I had spent a week going to several optometry offices because I couldn't find a frame that I really liked until I came here. They have a wide selection and lots of great brands for both reading/prescription glasses and sunglasses. Overall great experience, even though I would have preferred to have been offered a chance to look at the frames without having to get my insurance information pulled, but I can understand that they rather know what coverage you have to better assist you. read more

The reviews aren't wrong, this place is great! The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They are also following CDC guidelines with COVID precautions and it felt very sanitary and safe. The place itself also looks very nice. I got to see Dr. Ansaldo who was extremely helpful & kind and made sure I found the right pair of contacts (and also did extra research to find me the perfect pair). He spent extra time making sure I got the right prescription and was just overall a very cool and nice guy. My boyfriend saw Dr. Arabi, who he said was also super friendly and great! I visited this clinic in February for the first time for a routine yearly eye check. The front office staff was very polite and friendly. Dr. Ansaldo did the complete eye checkup. He explained each and every test as he performed it. He was a friendly, polite, and respectful fellow. After checking the eyes I had two pairs of glasses made at this place one for reading only and one for driving, Ana explained the different choices they offered. When the glasses arrived, Ana made sure the glasses were okay. She asked me to try my new glasses for a few days, She said if there was an issue with the glasses then see her. I had a problem with my reading glasses. I went back and they gladly took care of it. Ana was very happy to take care of the problem. She had new glasses made to correct the problem. Overall, I was very pleased with the Doctor and the staff. I will definitely return to this place next year and thereafter. read more

I have revised my review to provide accurate insight. After significant time looking for root cause, it clearly points to PCP (L. Perez) office; it appears their management has no desire to make changes. Lazy, not sure of their rational. However, this Eye doctor is very proactive in testing, treatment and follow through. A lot of issues, has been determined due to the lack follow up and execution of my PCP office. Thus, not being this office responsibility. They follow up with PCP office make sure they get the paper done timely. PCP lack of timely execution has hindered many of my superb specialists. My remark on pricing for contacts is accurate, and still not the best price available. However, what they do provide is comprehensive one stop shopping and that may be a higher value of some. read more

My elderly father (98 is quite elderly, right?) had a fall and broke his glasses. His vision is far from great, so we needed new glasses ASAP. Called ProView and the earliest appointment was a good two weeks out. But, they kindly put my dad on the list for any cancellations, and low and behold two days later they called. We rushed him over. He was treated so kindly and with such respect. The Doctor (whose name he can't remember) was great with him. In fact, the entries staff went above and beyond to help him. Today (Friday)he got the call his new glasses were in, so he did his best to get transportation over to pick them up. But alas, the bus where he lives was unavailable until next Tuesday. So he called ProView and asked if there was any way someone there at the office could drop them off on their way home. He is less than a quarter mile from the office. And what do you suppose happened? They delivered his new glasses to the retirement home and into his hands. I cannot say enough great things about this office and it's personnel, and am so very grateful for the goodness in humanity that is so apparent at ProView Eye Care. read more

It was previously owned by Dr. Bartell, he sold it and the new owners are greedy! My insurance is pretty good, but with new rates they make everything way more expensive. Dr. Bartell left me with a incorrect prescription and the new owners would not help correct it. They also created fraud and now I am the one who gets stiffed! Let me start by saying that I've been wearing glasses and contacts for over 40 years and having moved a lot, I've experienced a lot of optometry offices. I really like Dr. Arabi (thus the 3 star rating, otherwise, it would be a 1) and the office is clean and modern. Those aspects I really like, but after more than a year of both my daughter and I being patients here, we had to look elsewhere for an office with better customer care. We're past the days of strict COVID protocols and it's awkward having to knock on the door, wait for someone to come and then have them barely open the door to ask if you have an appointment. If you do, you get to come in. If you don't, I doubt it. I don't mind wearing a mask inside, but the locked door and knocking feels extreme and as I said, awkward and unwelcoming. The staff aren't the most friendly or accommodating and every time it feels like we're inconveniencing them. I've been on the fence about going elsewhere because of the lack of feeling welcome there, but we continued going because of Dr. Arabi. I hit my threshold last week when my daughter (who can't function without her glasses) got hit in the face during PE at school and her frames got bent. At any other office, I would run her up there, walk in and they'd fit me in. At this office, you have to have an appointment to even pick up glasses or get minor adjustments. So, I called for an appointment and they were booked. No attempt at customer service to help a 12 year old girl return her glasses to wearable so she could get through school, etc. Nope, no attempt to empathize or accommodate. We were just out of luck. I stopped by a different local optometry office the same day I was told no by Pro-View and they fixed her glasses without fuss and without an appointment. We'll be going there in the future.
