Literally such a good experience. The place was super clean and really nice. I got seen fast with no wait time at all which I loved. The customer service was great and the doctor was sooo nice and easy to talk to. They made everything easy. I got my frames and prescription there too and it was actually affordable. I had just found Dr. Vargas in my insurance directory a week ago, and I was in Optimal Optometry by the weekend. I could have been seen even days sooner, but my schedule was conflicted. My entire family was able to be booked, half of us on Friday and the other half on Saturday. It was super quick availability! We all loved our visit, too. Dr. Vargas was very thorough and extremely patient and informative with my children. We all wear glasses and/or contacts in my household, and we've been to other Optometrists, but this past weekend was by far the best experience with scheduling, time spent with the doctor, and the amazing staff! My fellow Yelpers guided me here and I couldn't be happier! They are conveniently located in the Ralphs shopping center on Archibald and Riverside Dr so there is plenty of parking. Scheduling my consultation was super easy and they even confirmed my benefit coverage over the phone. Registration paperwork was also sent electronically which I didnt do, so they also provided it upon appt check in The front office staff was great- friendly and helpful. They explained things in detail and I appreciated their guidance and assistance with frame selection. Dr Vargas was wonderful! She was professional and took her time with explaining the results of my eye exam along with her recommendations. The offices are light and bright which I appreciate. As far as recommendations, vvthey can probably use more of a selection of frames, but I was able to find something that I love!!! read more

so today I decided to finally get some things taken care of which I been putting off I was in the area after the gym and noticed this location and seen nothing but great reviews so I decided to stop by and finally get my prescription glasses that I needed for over a year now ! So as I walked in I was instantly greeted by Mariana she allowed me to look around and see the variety of glasses they had there in store I was looking for a specific brand but I would have to order them and bring them in and I'm very impatient so I decided to just go with some in store I needed an eye exam again though since I lost my prescription for it they couldn't do it today so I went down the street paid 85 at Costco and came right back here and brought it to her ... Mariana was so patient with me answered all my questions I had nonetheless as well suggested so many different options I had to choose from as well even recommended other locations if I couldn't find what I wanted there which I appreciate because a lot of locations won't Because they want you to spend with them and that right there I appreciate shows they are not eager to take your money or anything so after all said an done I ended up going with the Gucci prescription glasses I came out spending a little under 500$ at that she gave me a 25% discount since I didn't have insurance and paid everything cash out of pocket I definitely recommend you come here service was 10/10 ! And if you don't wanna feel rushed or hounded etc again come here I appreciate you guys a lot and can't wait to receive my prescription glasses she said it would take maybe a week and a half but I asked if there can be a rush fee she said don't worry I won't charge for a rush fee but what I can do is ask if they can be done sooner than the week and a half ! Came in a few days ago to check my eyes. Optometrist I've gone too in the past were not as thorough and caring like the people here. Dr. Vargas gave me a clear explanation on why my eyes are the way they are and showed me photographs of my eyes demonstrating it. Very patient staff and very fun to be around . I came in with stressed and overworked eyes not understanding why. Turns out my last optometrist 1) didn't write up the correct prescription and 2) didn't explain test results to me so I always ended up walking out unsatisfied. Super excited this new practice opened up in our neighborhood. Dr. Vargas is great and has the best patience and manners. She is so detailed and put me at ease with any concerns that I had. I have high astigmatism and always struggle with finding the right doctor. She educated me about my prescription and discussed all my future options with contacts and Lasik. I had my first experience with this office last week. I was desperate to order a new pair of as my old ones have been damage to the accident and were seriously scratched. I called them because I saw that they had a good rating. They accommodated me not only by allowing me to come in on the same day, but also by keeping their doors open beyond closing time to accommodate my need. In addition, they were friendly and explained the results of the exam thoroughly.
