If I could give this place no stars I would. The incompetent rude employee (older lady dark hair) was just blatantly rude from the moment I walked in for my kids appointment. She verified the insurance information then comes back to let me know the can only see one because I arrived late. I was like what? No I know what they confirmed on my voicemail the day before. Update horrible experience glass staff is some rude worker guy in optical. Got called in by optometrist staff and said I was just seen a week ago, I inform her I wasn't. She said oh we put the date in wrong so we gave away your appointment it's now double booked. Was told I would have to go back to rude guy and have him run my insurance. I said no thanks he's rude, she agreed. I let he know I wouldn't be back for exam or glasses. I really really like the Dr and hate to leave but she is surrounding herself with incompetence. Why couldn't the office staff call me ahead of time I literally confirmed with them yesterday on the phone. Really bummed to have lost my vision benefits for 2024. This is my first time here I made my appointment at 1:00 & arrived a bit too early. But despite of coming super early the staff where supper nice & I didn't wait as long to get started. I didn't take a look at any frames on my visit. Dr. Tannie Tran is really nice very informative re-educated me on my vision & had options for me. I didn't use any insurance so I paid $65 for the eye exam & an extra $20 for the dilation exam. Will definitely come back here for my eye exams from now on. read more

When my daughter said she couldn't see the board at school I took her right over to the Target Optical and because I'm a busy mom if 3. Do not come here the girls are rude and they double book appointments and see you 30-45 min after your appointment time. I purposely made my appt at 9 am so I could be the first and took someone else who was a walk in before me. The girls were rude about I wouldn't recommend and they don't have a nice glasses selection pretty cheap brands. read more

I had been here before last year to get my exam done and was pleased with the service so i decided to bring my daughter to get her annual exam. There was already miscommunication between the staff and I received a call the day before my appt to advise it wasn't covered by the insurance, when in fact it was already approved. I arrived on time to my appt and had to wait over half an hr while they took someone who was already 30 minutes late to there appt and another patient after that. Dr. Tran is the best optometrist I have ever been to. I've seen at least 5 different optometrist but she was the only one who really took the time to do a thorough eye exam and explain to me about my vision and my astigmatism. She was really good at explaining our insurance information and out of pocket costs as well. She also found that my husband had an astigmatism of which he has never even known about because everyone that he's seen has told him he has 20/20 vision. I would recommend Dr. Tran & we will continue to visit her for our routing optical check ups read more

I was in California 14-19 July and decided to pick up some eye class cleaning wipes in the Eastvale Target optical about 4:22. It's taken so long to write this because I just found the receipt and could not remember which target I visited. Unfortunately the Hispanic woman was the rudest person I have ever encountered in any Target. She was waiting on someone and ignored my sister-in-law and I standing at the counter. I thought oh well, she is busy. Then when she finally acknowledged us, she acted as though she did not want to be bothered. I asked about the wipes and she very condescendingly said, " they are over there and you need to know which one you are looking for, there are more than one and I don't know the one you want". I said I need the packs. She just pointed at them, never attempted to really assist. I picked up the packs and put them on the counter. She said again rudely, " $6.45". Not that will be $6.45. While I am digging out the money, she says quite loudly, " that's $6.45. I stated I am getting out the dollars! She then said, oh. Is it not customary for a customer to be allowed time to get out their money or credit card in a timely manner or is there a time limit. Avoid this rude person at all costs. read more

I took my prescription for glasses to Target optical since they are so close to my house. I expected just a few frames but was very pleasantly surprised by all they had to choose from. When I arrived the ladies were helping other customers but I was greeted and advised they would be right with me. I looked around and found my frames and when it was my turn, the young lady Jenny helped me. She was very courteous and professional. She went over all my options, never pushing a service or a product. I order progressive lenses which are new to me as my old glasses are regular for far vision only. I picked them up and they take some getting used to, but unfortunately I just could not and returned them to Target. The young lady Mary listened to my concerns regarding my balance when wearing the glasses and how I did not feel comfortable or safe. She understood my concerns and promptly offered to have my glasses re made and changed to single vision. She took care of all the paperwork for the return and order of the new glasses, and within 5 days I had my new glasses. Mary called me to let me know my glasses had come in. When I went to pick them up a few days later, Mary remembered me by name. She provided me with EXCELLENT customer service every step of the way! I want to thank Mary and Jenny for being very professional but also making the experience feel like you are being helped by friends. I would definitely recommend Target Optical. read more

I came here for an overdue exam. I'll be honest and say that I only picked this place purely out of convenience. Thankfully, it worked in my favor. I was able to schedule my appointment online the afternoon before. The next morning I checked in next door at the optical department. Staff was incredibly nice even though she was clearly very busy. My exam was one of the most thorough that I've had. The doctor explained everything to me and answered every question I had regarding new contact lenses. I was given one of the latest lenses to trial. Then they scheduled me to come back in a week to see if I liked them. At my second appt it was a different doctor who was just as good. I was given a different set of lenses since the first didn't work out for me. I was given my prescription for both contact lenses and glasses right then. No high pressure sales to buy my glasses there, either. Would recommend this place to anybody who needs an eye exam! read more
