It's right by the Continental Club. Walking in, I immediately liked the ambiance. It was quiet for lunch and the sound system was playing 70's era soul music. Seated at the bar, I had a nice conversation with the bartender, and decided on a cup of their gumbo, which was good, and their burger, which was messy and tasty and exactly like I like my hamburgers. During the winter holidays, Winnie's transforms into "Miracle at Winnie's," a Christmas and all things winter holiday lights-themed bar.
