***DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!**** I was given a RAW CHICKEN SANDWICH!!!! We stopped on the way to the zoo & had to wait AN HOUR for our food!!!! Why was I given raw chicken after waiting so long?!?? They do not know what they're doing!!!!! Absolutely AWFUL experience!!! I pray to God I don't get food poisoning/salmonella!!!!! Please do not eat here!!! I wish I could give zero stars!!!!

This is my second time getting the Salmon bowl. I personally like spicy food so it was enjoyable but for the average person it may be too hot. Seafood and rice were seasoned well.

Came here sporadically while being in the area for an appointment. Decor was trendy and the restaurant overall was very clean (including the bathroom). The service was extremely quick, however the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived and honestly stayed that way minus some pickup orders. Ordered wings, chicken parm, sliders, chicken tenders w/ fries, pistachio cheesecake, chocolate gelato, and chocolate cake. Surprisingly the only two items we didn't enjoy were the fries and chocolate cake. Which sounds crazy, but unfortunately both were a miss. I would definitely come here again, especially for the fact of all the items being halal, but also, the service was so kind and welcoming.

Cute corner eatery that caters to the people who can afford to live in the Mosaic, i. e. Not us. $8/crepe is almost worth one Kid's enjoyment of her Nutella one with strawberries and my appreciation for the chicken and mushroom one. We tried ordering pizza but none of their equipment was ready for that, despite there being 3 guys inside well before opening. Service was ok. Location is convenient for anyone wanting to visit Hermann Park Golf Course, which is probably why Cosmo Cafe has to charge enough to remain In such a hot spot.

I've been coming to Cosmo for over a year, easily one of the best spots near Med Center/Hermann Park. The food never misses, and Chef Wale keeps it all fresh and fire. Shoutout to Yara and the team for always making it a smooth and friendly experience. If you haven't been, fix that.

My boyfriend and I stopped by for a late lunch. He ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich which came with a side of fries and I ordered a Margherita Pizza. The food was delicious! The gentleman that took our order / served our food was very polite. We came around 4:00 on a Thursday, and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. There is plenty of seating, and they also offer games to pass the time (a foosball table, giant connect four, and giant Jenga blocks). Overall, we had a pleasant experience and we will be returning!

This place has so much potential. Huge menu for good ole American/Italian food. Pros: gorgeous aesthetic, loads of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, anything with grilled chicken on it is very very tasty, good quality meat, zabiha-halal, a lot of menu items, a full on gelato/ice cream selection available. Cons: inconsistency (skip the Pina colada it's like $7-9 and made out of a mixer syrup, do get the mint lemonade it's frozen and probably also uses a mixer but loads of fresh mint and friend said it was on point), water bottles for purchase, no drinking water, pasta was tasty but could've been a little saucier but still delicious, wanted espresso (granted it was 8:30 at night) but the espresso machine was not working. I wish I had gotten a photo of the outdoor seating, but on a beautiful day out, a juice or a latte (if the machine is working) would be awesome!

My daughter and I stumbled upon Cosmo Eatery by chance. We were initially heading to Davis Street Restaurant next door, but since it was closed, we decided to give Cosmo a try. We were looking for a nice dine-in experience to pass the time before our next meeting, and Cosmo certainly delivered. We were impressed by the quaint location--it felt like we had discovered a hidden gem. The service was excellent, the place was clean, and the ambiance was relaxed yet modern, with great interior decor. The menu had so many tempting options that it was hard to choose! My daughter ordered the rice bowl, and I opted for the salmon tacos. Both dishes were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. To top it off, we tried a couple of their specialty drinks. My daughter had a milk tea, which she said was very good, and I had a fresh smoothie that was equally satisfying. They even surprised her with a Nutella crêpe, which was a delightful and tasty treat! Five stars to Cosmo Eatery for offering great food with fresh and healthy options in what feels like a bit of a food desert in that part of town. We were originally searching for a nice sit-down spot before our last meeting and didn't find many appealing options apart from Davis Street Lounge. While Cosmo isn't as upscale as Davis Street, it's a fantastic in-between option for fine dining and casual dining. Highly recommend!

No water?? We had to buy bottles ozarka water for over $1. Food is not as advertised. The photos on Instagram look amazing. But if you look at my photos below you will see why my rating is low. SO GREASY Review: Cosmo is a semi self serve situation, you order at the order station and then your items are brought to you. I had ordered $40 worth of food. Shrimp scampi, fettuccini Alfredo, fried calamari and two bottles waters. The Alfredo seemed average, but the shrimp scampi was extremely off putting by the amount of oil! Calamari was $8 and was a handful of "calamari" on top of some greens. Maybe you can catch them in a good day as some of the reviews are pretty good here.

I came here thinking I would order a quick pizza before driving home. Thinking it would be quick was my first mistake. I place my order for a pepperoni pizza at 4:05 and didn't receive it until 4:32. Very cute restaurant and great service. Food took a while to come out but was worth the wait! Highly recommended the Exotic Cosmo Salad. It was so fresh! The vinaigrette was so tasty and simple! It really made this simple salad so delicious! The fries were decent, wished they were a bit more crispy. The chicken and waffles were good. I love how fluffy the waffles were. Can't go wrong with a nice fresh, toasty club chicken sandwich. I would return just for their salads. I was a bit disappointed with the food. The actual waffles as a side were AWESOME but the Alfredo Pizza was missing the bacon and mushroom and BBQ pizza didn't have much sauce. The Philly cheese steak was really good but could use more meat. May have just been an off day though. I live upstairs so I will try it again and update my post after. read more

First visit. We ordered the chicken fettuccine, hamburgers sliders and fries and a salad with chicken added. The fries were ok. The chicken fettuccine was bland, not a lot of flavor and the sliders were very very dry. I wanted to order some fruit tarts but you could visually see that they were dry and old. Tonight was me and my daughter's first time here. She saw it randomly on IG, and it's less than 10 minutes from home. The vibe and ambience is so super chill and pleasant, and the employees are all really nice. LET'S TALK ABOUT THESE DISHES!!! OMG YUMMERS!!! I live in the same building so it's convenient to run downstairs and pick something up. The food is okay but it's close and I don't need to pay a delivery fee. If they get busy, they'll answer the phone and hang it up immediately. They use turkey bacon on a BLT so maybe avoid that. Shawarma Stop is next door so I can walk over there if they don't want to answer a phone. read more

Great halal spot! If you're in the area definitely worth the stop for lunch. Their deluxe burger tastes good as well as their buffalo chicken tacos. Nice and light so you won't feel sluggish afterwords. I also got the berry smoothie and that was pretty good. read more

Could have been better service. They don't have servers here so you place your older at the register and they will bring it out to you. Since they are understaffed you can tell the food sits for a little while before you get it. The food had a nice presentation but overall was just ok. Chips and guacamole came out about 25 minutes after the entrees. Also the chips were just Fritos, lol, see picture attached. At least the guac was good. A lot of my table's orders were messed up, we had 5 people at the table. Just overall bad service and the food unfortunately doesn't make up for it. Will probably not be coming back. read more

I stumbled across this cafe as I was visiting my friend, it is conveniently located in her building. This cafe has all the yummy carb loaded cravings you can think of, whatever you want, I guarantee they have it here. We ordered a spread of the patty melt, pasta and a salad. All items were fresh, huge servings and quite delicious. I desperately wanted to order some sweets but I was too full, Ill definitely be trying those next time! read more

Ordered 3 bagels with cream cheese to go. Took approximately 5 minutes after we ordered to come out and tell us they only had 2 bagels. We reordered something else and charged us the 3 dollars difference as a separate transaction. Not our fault at 10:30 am on a Saturday you didn't have 3 bagels. Waited another 25 minutes to get eggs in a wrap. We were THE ONLY costumers. Not worth a visit. read more

I am so disappointed, save yourself . This was my first time trying a place with no reviews & it will be my last time . This place is open late so I ordered a few things on memorial weekend. I ordered Mozzarella sticks which were okay but they serve it with lettuce ( which obviously gets soggy) The Alfredo pasta I ordered is suppose to be "best seller". I honestly don't know why.. as the Alfredo tasted like that from a kiddie easy bake oven. It was watery & the chicken was flavorless and dry as seen in the picture. I couldn't continue to eat it because it taste like cardboard & milk sauce . They could have at least used a store bought Alfredo sauce. It LOOKS better than it taste 100%, I won't be returning. We have been a couple of times. Love they have outdoor seating. There Almeda burgers are awesome. They are very tasty and unique with a fried egg of your choice. They have a very extensive menu and will definitely be back. The one thing lacking is adult beverages. read more

We have really enjoyed our visits here. My family enjoys the vibe and the super friendly staff. We always have a good time. The food is not always completely consistent but it has always been good and often times spectacular. We actually never get a photo of the food because it's always eaten before we remember. We hope that other fans write reviews too. It would be a shame to lose such a wonderful local eatery. read more

Cafe is pretty. And staff is very nice! However, food has too many spices or salt. And it is not properly cooked. Could be better. Currently a lot of ingredients have to be substituted, would be nice that they inform the customer of it in case of allergic reaction. read more

Tried it for the first time. Nice ambiance. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of items to choose from including burgers, pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, salads. I got a burger. My kids got sandwiches. Loved them. I am glad to see another nice halal option by the medical center. Highly recommend you try it out. read more

After spending the morning at the Houston Zoo, I was looking for a quick lunch spot nearby and decided to stop by Cosmo Eatery. What a pleasant surprise! The first thing that stood out was the ambiance. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful--modern, bright, colorful, and incredibly welcoming. The decor creates a fun and upbeat atmosphere that feels both stylish and comfortable. They even had the World Cup match playing on the flat-screen TVs, which added to the energy of the space. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed playing on the foosball table, which was a fun touch and helped make the wait fly by. I also appreciated that Cosmo Eatery serves halal food, which made it an easy choice for me. For lunch, I ordered the Avocado Chicken Club Sandwich, which came with fries and for a drink I ordered a lime mojito. The sandwich was exactly what you want from a classic chicken sandwich, fresh and satisfying. The fries were crispy and paired perfectly with the meal. The real standout, however, was the lime mojito. It was incredibly refreshing and honestly one of the best lime mojitos I've ever had. It was the perfect drink after walking around the zoo in the Houston heat. My catfish and eggs were $11.99 and it was only $1.50 to add an extra egg. The catfish may have been swai though given how mild it was, but the portions were comparable to the diner competitors. You also have to season the eggs and grits yourself like at other diners. As I was eating, customers started strolling in for lunch. The bad thing about the place is the steep entrance and exit to the parking lot. If you have a low car like mine, you'll definite scrape the bottom no matter what angle you take. So I don't think I will ever return despite the food value here.
