Cute coffee shop with tasty coffee. This is a smaller coffee shop with limited hours so plan ahead. The owner is friendly and runs a unique place. There are a few burritos on the menu and donuts and vegan banana bread. Please consider a gluten free burrito option. Plenty of street parking. Stopped her a few weeks ago to grab coffee as part of my coffee compass journey. I generally loved the community feel of the coffee shop, the patrons and staff were nice. Great spot for coffee in Minneapolis! I've been meaning to check them out but I always miss their open hours. I got the iced miel which was great! Nice depth of flavor, and it was really affordable pricing for the twin cities. Service was quick and nice. Very cute interior with local art inside. Plenty of free street parking. read more

I've been wanting to come here for a while. I got a toasted marshmallow latte and the vegan banana bread, both of which were delicious. I loved the look of the place too (see pictures), but the barista was very mean to my friend. He was sort of rude to me and my other friend, but he was just mean to my one friend. He asked maybe 2 questions and the barista acted like it was such an inconvenience. Then when we got in the car, some of my friend's latte spilled and it was way too hot. We both had gotten lattes and mine was hot, but a normal temperature for a drink while his was scalding. read more

Finally a shop that has decaf espresso as an option! They even list it on their menu so I'm not left guessing at the counter. I love black coffee, and find the smell nostalgic; however, due to a medication I take, I can't drink fully caffeinated beverages. This place allows me to indulge my sugar coffee cravings without the risk of consuming too much caffeine! Note decaf espresso can still contain 10mg! Popped in with my partner for a Chai and a decaf Mocha. The chai was in our top two! We've been traveling around to various coffee shoppes in search of the best chai for my partner for quite some time. This was one of the best with an added shot of vanilla & whole milk! Got a latte and breakfast burrito and both were perfect! I ordered a 16oz latte and at many places I usually order my lattes w/ light syrup and an extra shot because they'll end up coming out as warm-ish milk that's super sweet w/ just a hint of espresso flavor. This was not that. I just ordered it as-is and it was perfectly HOT, not overly sweet, and each sip I could actually taste espresso. It was perfect. My burrito was delicious and stuffed w/ ingredients - no biting into a chunk of just tortilla. I ran an errand after I left Cosmic and when I got home, both my latte and burrito were still hot. Oh, and prices are VERY reasonable. I am so glad I live close because I definitely will be back! read more

When I want a super quick, really cheap, and smallish, but equally satisfying breakfast sandwich, I end up in the drive through line at McDonald's for a McGriddle or egg McMuffin...or both if I had a couple of beers the night before that I need to shake off. No shame--everyone does it from time to time. Cosmic Coffee has an even better option at the same price. A quick five minute walk to this northeast coffee shop and I can grab one of their Rising Reuben's for $3.50. It has egg, corned beef, and maple syrup that looks like it was thrown together on a panini grill. It's now my permanent replacement for the McGriddle. Never thought I'd see the day. Minneapolis has a lot of aesthetically pleasing and high end brunch places--but not enough options for those mornings you're contemplating the McDonald's or Taco Bell drive thrus. read more

I sat there and did a crossword for an hour, the customers all love being there, both kids and adults, and it was such a nice place to hang out. I walked here yesterday for the first time and I was not disappointed! I got a cold brew and an americano and they were both DELICIOUS and priced very well, and were made very quickly.
