It was so nice coming here for the first time! I've always driven by it and this time I decided it was time. It's a small charming coffee shop and I love that I can see products of my culture represented in the small store they have. They add a good amount of chairs and tables. I went with an iced coffee drink that had some banana taste to it and it was delicious! I also decided to get this pastry that had spinach and cheese and it was just so good! Customer service was fantastic and he helped me decided on a drink. Over all I loved this place and can see myself coming here a lot more often. They do have a small parking lot for like 3-4 cars otherwise because it's tucked in a neighborhood street parking is easy as well.

The Fearless Lawtte was as delicious as promised with a lovely, spicy kick. Beautiful space where I wanted to sit for awhile, but needed to take my drinks to go. Prompt, friendly service with helpful menu guidance and recommendations. Coffee blends for purchase as well to take the taste home. Highly recommended--I will be back!

As other Yelpers state this a charming place located in an area short of good coffee. They have a menu of drinks with clever names. The two staff members were friendly and informative. They are open limited hours, closing by 1:00 p.m. everyday. I was looking for food and there was one pastry left. There are no kitchen facilities so they can't prepare dishes or do baking. I was told they're food is made elsewhere and they could warm the items. Needing something to go with my brewed I saw a box of Alfajores which is Caramel Cookies. A box of four scrumptious cookies with creamy insides. Beware these cookies I thought were grossly overpriced. The simple brewed is a cross of a medium to dark roast and was satisfying. The 16 oz brew is the most I've paid anywhere, topping $5 for the first time. Others will probably soon catch up on the price.

This is one charming neighborhood cafe! You'll find it right where Como and North End meet, in a quiet residential area a few blocks north of that dicey Dale/Front/Como intersection. There's always plenty of street parking available, but they do appear to have a couple of off-street spaces. The cafe is owned by the same folks who own the adjoining law firm, and thanks to that there are a lot of playful legal puns on the menu like the "Fearless Lawtte", the "Motion Granted", and my favorite, the banana-milky "ReSipsa Lawquitur". This is also a Latina-owned business, and you can expect that to inform many of their recipes. Most recently I had a holiday-themed drink with a Mexican-style dash of pepper, and it had the absolute perfect amount of pepper to balance the other tasty ingredients. They have a pastry cabinet which depletes throughout the day, but if you're there early enough you can try one of their very satisfying danishes, croissants, etc. They also have coffee beans and other market items available. The service is extremely friendly and the decor is dainty and thoughtful. And although I usually enjoy the dine-in experience, when I get my coffee to go it comes in a fully-compostable cup and lid, which I appreciate. It's just a really pleasant cafe all around and I am positive that you will love it.

One of my good friends is the pickiest coffee drinker I've ever met, and I brought her here when she was in town several months ago and she still talks about it. It's phenomenal coffee, a beautiful space, and a lot of really fun rotating menu items

Abogados is a great coffee shop experience! They specialize in Latin American coffee beans and coffee preparation. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and friendly! A real neighborhood gem.

It's a small but charming and cozy neighborhood coffee place. The interior is inviting and very cute with tile flooring, mural on the wall. I tried Coconspirators (cold) and Lawtee (hot). Both have unique taste which is great. Combined with some sweet and savory pastry......a sweet experience that surely need to be repeated.

This cafe is a work of art. I enjoyed my "Motion Granted" warm drink and worked for a bit. I ordered a pastry but it was not so good (they cannot warm up food, wish I had known before buying). Learning the history of the cafe was touching - I had a nice interaction with Init (one of the owners). The owners law offices are located upstairs of the cafe. Later that same day I mentioned the spot to a friend and he told me he painted the mural inside the location . Love to see Latines thriving .

This was my first time trying this cafe. The inside was very cute and homey and way different than what I thought it would be after looking at the outside. Loved the tile flooring and on the counters. My americano was really smooth and good but my one feedback piece would be to get better lids for the to go cups. I love compostable products but this type of lid was more of a paperish top and I ended up spilling coffee all over my clothes because it wouldn't stay on properly and kept leaking everywhere. Otherwise, would love to come back for more of the drinks and baked goods!

A literal translation of Abogado is advocate, which is exactly what owners Inti and Ofelia will do to make sure you love what you order. I come here often, whether to pick up an exciting treat or to give my out-of-town friends a taste of Honduras. They offer warm Latin hospitality and explain everything you need to know to find your perfect drink and/or pastry. They are hilarious people with a passion for the nuance of flavor and texture. If you know anything about the legal field, you'll chuckle at references to legal terms sprinkled throughout the menu. The vibe is adorable, including a number of tables in a room lined with shelves of authentic Latin American gifts and products. If you happen to need a civil, business, or employment attorney, their law firm is in the same building with a separate entrance next door.

Service: The service is friendly! When you arrive at the doors, there's a sign to knock but the employees are pretty good at spotting people so they will open the door to welcome you in and give you menus. You go to the register to order whenever you're ready. They do have some specials which are written on a chalkboard and the employees are able to tell you about the specials as well. Atmosphere: the restaurant was vibrant with colorful walls, and flowers on the table! It is a sit-down restaurant but fairly casual! It was well lit, and good for gathering with friends and family or coworkers! They also do to-go orders if you're not looking to dine-in! Food/drink: they have plenty of gluten free options and a couple vegetarian options. They are able to modify some of the vegetarian options to be vegan if needed. I ordered the vegetariano saltado, which was well balanced with some salty and tangy notes. It is listed as spicy on the menu but I found it to be quite mild. This was my first time having mote in a dish, which are boiled, peeled, corn kernels. They have a mild nuttiness, and a soft chewable texture which was very nice! Overall I enjoyed this dish and would order it again! The naranjilla juice was also very good! It had a tropical flavor, almost like a pineapple with orange juice flavor. I enjoyed the food overall, and thought the portions were good. Each person in my party of 3 had some leftovers remaining!! I would recommend Chimborazo to anyone interested in trying Ecuadorian food, and I will be back!

I know this place gets a lot of glowing reviews, which is why I kept coming back to give it another shot, but I still don't really get the hype. It's not bad, but it's definitely not great either -- it kind of just exists in that middle ground where nothing stands out. The atmosphere is fun and lively, which is probably its biggest strength. It's a great place to meet up with friends. Service is decent, but the QR code ordering takes away from any real connection with staff, so the whole experience ends up feeling a bit impersonal. I've only had non-alcoholic drinks here, so I can't speak to the margaritas or cocktails that people rave about -- but the NA options I've tried have been fine, nothing particularly memorable. The food is where it really misses for me. Everything I've had has been pretty bland and forgettable. The green salsa was underwhelming, and the burritos I've tried have been barely seasoned -- not spicy, not bold, just kind of flat. I understand Minnesota tends to lean mild, but this felt less like "approachable" and more like the flavors just aren't there. This time I ordered the Lunch Crunch with birria, and it was honestly completely forgettable. Nothing tasted especially fresh or flavorful, and there wasn't a single bite that made me think, "I'd come back for this." The chips are fine, but that's about the most enthusiasm I can muster for the food. After three visits, I don't see myself choosing to come back.

I was a bit concerned this was going to be dry, but adding some of the rice and beans to your fork made it plenty good. Speaking of beans. I have no idea how they make them or what ingredients they use, but these really are the best beans I have ever eaten in MPLS. They are so good that I would just order a bowl of these beans and a couple of arepas and be perfectly content. Please support this restaurant and stop in for lunch/dinner.
