I was in the area and had some free time. Found this shop off Google maps and decided to give it a go. It did not disappoint. The owner (pretty sure she was) greeted me and she was super nice and friendly. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. It's so cozy. My matcha was a bit sweeter side and I kind of wish I got coffee instead. Only stayed here for a few minutes until the rest of my party joined me and we went somewhere else, but I would absolutely love to come back here and spend more time.

Super excited to see another great gem in the Eastside St Paul neighborhood! Cafeto has a really great menu consisting of coffee, tea, frappes, smoothies, pastries and some very delicious empanadas! The Mazapan Latte had some really great flavors combined with high quality beans making for a very delicious drink. Service was friendly and quick. I loved the artwork and plants along with the natural light from the large windows! It was a lovely cafe for a coffee date!

A cute little coffee shop. Pastries and empanadas. Very clean and bright. Drinks made to order. 4 tables , a couch and comfortable chairs. Counter service spoke Spanish but easily understood.

We happened upon this place as the other place we drove to didn't exist. We are from out of town on our way to Lake Phalen. The lattes and cold brew are amazing! My husband had been hoping for a breakfast sandwich which they don't have, but that ended up being a good thing because then he got the empinadas which were delicious! We highly recommend. The service was fantastic and fast even with the place being busy and only one person behind the counter.

Cute coffee shop on the Eastside! They offer a variety of latte flavors and pastries. They also serve empanadas. I had a maple pecan latte which was delicious! Very friendly staff!

The ambiance was fantastic! The coffee was excellent, and the French pastries were amazing. The owner is very kind and takes great pride in her independent, woman-owned coffee shop. I found this place while searching for good coffee on Google Maps, and now that I work in the city, I will definitely be back. I highly recommend checking it out!

If you're anywhere near Southeast Minneapolis and craving something warm, flaky, and comforting,…read moreDelSur Empanadas is the place to go. I stopped by on a warm evening following the Legacy Cup, and the smell alone was worth the trip -- buttery pastry and savory fillings drifting out the door. The empanadas are the real deal -- perfectly golden on the outside, with just the right amount of crunch before you hit the soft, flavorful center. My favorites were the beef (rich, perfectly seasoned, with just enough spice) and the caprese (melty cheese, tomato, and basil that somehow feels both indulgent and fresh). Not to mention their french fries have that same golden crispy affect as well! Their chimichurri sauce is liquid gold. I ended up dipping everything in it -- no regrets. The staff was friendly and genuinely seemed excited to talk about their food, which made the experience even better. The space itself is cozy and bright, with a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to hang out for a bit, grab a mate or a local beer, and take your time. Prices are super reasonable for the quality -- you can easily have a filling meal for under $15. I do recommend this place however if you want to wash it down with a beverage, be aware of Malcolm yards costs.

It wasn't super flavorful, but it was nice and healthy tasting. FYI, I normally like spinach stuffed foods. The bbq chicken empanada was inedible. The chicken was extremely dry and it reminded me of meat floss. Maybe it was an off day, but I could not justify spending $4 for each of the empanadas.

The ambiance is high energy and quieter outside. It never got too hot outside, plenty of shade and a breeze between the buildings. The food is spectacular. We had amazing appetizers, especially the salmon and tuna. Our steaks were perfect, order a variety at your table and share. The sides were well made, especially the fingerling potatoes and broccoli. Listen to your waitstaff, they know what they are talking about and talked us out of a couple dishes and into better ones. Overall, it wasn't inexpensive but it was well worth it for those who appreciate unique and flavorful meals. We would definitely eat here again.

Skip the olive oil cake and vanilla sorbet. Porzana was an absolutely AMAZING experience! The food was delicious and the service was incredible as well. More than that, the vibes were great! This spot is truly the whole package. The restaurant was much bigger than I expected which was also nice. It was too hot when we were there, but they also had a cute patio on the side of the restaurant. We got a TON of dishes as we were treating ourselves and here is what we thought of each... Empanadas - Perfect size, crispy dough, and FULL of meat. The sauce, mango salsa, and the aoli on the side were the perfect editions. Sweet Corn Agnolotto - Literally NO notes. There is a reason why this is all over theirs and visitors social media. It is fresh and bright, yet has an amazing depth of flavor. Asparagus - These were perfectly charred and bright. They didn't feel heavy at all which was awesome. Entrana - The main event and so dang good. Perfectly cooked, tender, and the flavor was excellent. We love steak and honestly do a pretty good job cooking it ourselves, but this is somewhere we would go for a good steak. This was my top meat choice. The chimichurri and Lla Jua sauces were a perfect pairing with this as well. Ribeye - This ribeye was also delicious! It was tender and juicy, and had good flavor. My fiance preffered this to the Entrana though we both loved them both. Papas Aplastadas - These were fried potatoes with bacon, cheese, and beurre blanc. They were good, but not great. Honestly, I think we just loved the other dishes so much that these didn't even get a fair chance. Though these had the most ingredients, I would say they were the least flavorful to me. Olive Oil Cake - Moist, but still dense and didn't really impress us much. I wished instead of the marscapone there was something lighter on top as it all felt heavy after a big meal. Sorbet - skip the vanilla. The honey lavendar was an absolute show stopper. Cocktails were also top teir and they had mocktail options as well!
