Low quality products offered at a store with rude staff. Unbelievable that they're still in business...

Rude customer service and the countertops are a bad color. Not accurate at all. They took forever to get back to me too.

Whoever the woman with glasses who was manning the store today around 2pm was absolutely the most…read morerude and judgmental human I've encountered while in Seattle. She basically kicked me out of the store when I had been looking through their cards and stickers - which mind you were right in her view, so she had no reason to think I was being "shady" or suspicious or anything of the like - and I even offered to place the items I was looking at on the counter until I was ready to check out. After perusing about 5% of this jam packed store, whilst shoving food into her mouth, the lady seriously had the gall to ask me "if I was done" (mind you there were about 15 others in the store at the same time) because she was "closing the store to go pee". Long story short, this woman needs a reality check and attitude adjustment because it's clear she feels like she is above others and her behavior was not only unwarranted -and unprofessional, but honestly confusing as I don't understand what made her treat me like trash but I hope whoever usually mans the store is a nicer human because they had a ton of cool stuff in there; unfortunately much of which I was unable to even look at due to this woman literally forcing me to leave by trying to ring up everything I placed on the counter and then continue to ask if I'm "done" etc to get me to leave. Again, a shame for whoever the actual store owner is but pro tip for someone who has worked in customer service, don't let this lady be the face that deals with customers in your store.

This place is for those who have extra cash around, so that they could purchase a model of a fetus in various stages of development, at prices comparable to a real fetus. The shop is crammed full of antique-y type stuff, like curio cabinets, funky old chairs, old old opera glasses, animal heads, large boots of bygone years - The sales person is very hands off, and this is a store for browsing, not for people to follow you around, asking if you want to buy some strange-looking objects that resemble ancient butt plugs. Not that I can't appreciate this stuff in all its overpriced glory. I do like the funky collection of items here, but I also can't help but feel that Old Grandma Mabel from over a century ago is looking down on us and laughing that the old magnifying glass used for her rectal exam in 1889 now being sold here for 1000 times its original cost.

I really love finding old medical and scientific nick nacks and furniture and this place has it all. From full sized anatomical models, charts, medical cabinets, signage, etc. I almost forgot to go back out into the streets to enjoy the Sub Pop Records Silver Jubilee festivities. This is a pop-up shop and it is located just to the south of Jules Maes in the building that used to house the Vespa repair shop. It will be open for 60 days here only since it is a Pop-Up shop off of her main showroom on 17th Ave. SW. It may stay open longer than the initial 60 days if it does well. Definitely worth a pop in to the pop-up shop that opened on the Sup Pop Silver Jubilee day.
