Seattle Cutlery was such a great experience! If you're looking for functional and handy kitchen and home tools--whether for your home or for travel--this is the place to go. They have really cool items like TSA-approved scissors and the flattest nail clippers I've ever seen. My family and I stopped by and ended up buying a lot. Huge thanks to Nathan for being so helpful and making the experience even better. 100% recommend--please support this small business!

    Leathermsan Raptor in the case

I'd received a Leatherman Raptor Rescue multi-tool/scissor as a gift, and unfortunately, it wasn't functioning properly. The tab that kept one of the handles in place kept collapsing. My friend who'd gifted the Raptor to me told me where he'd purchased and I called Seattle Cutlery and spoke with Brian. He was very accommodating, and he remembered my friend who'd purchased the item a couple weeks prior. Brian asked me to send it to them so they could see what was wrong. I shipped it to them and Brian called back to let me know they'd received it and saw the problem instantly. Even though it would be considered an issue for Leatherman to handle, they replaced it without any hesitation! Great service and friendly to boot! What more can you ask for? I haven't had a chance to visit their shop yet as I live in the Nashville area, but I'm definitely looking forward to doing so when I'm in Seattle next. Would like to shake their hands for taking such good care of me. One doesn't always get great service when one is out, so when I find a place that goes above and beyond, I like to let everyone know. Here's hoping the best for them.

This right here is the Ferrari of nail clippers! Get it and you won't regret it! See Bailey, she knows a thing or two about cutleries!

Best kitchen store in the NW! When you're in town or visiting town, be sure to stop by this kitchen shop while visiting the Pike's Place Market. This has everything kitchen and more! I always make a pit stop every time I'm in the area. Definitely your girl Bailey can show you a thing or two with her expertise in knives and maybe...machetes!! Sometimes you find deals and I find that they do have some items on sale which is always a plus! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this store!!

The two finished knives that have never been sharper. Excellent work Seattle Cutlery!

Excellent service and craftsmanship. My knives have never been sharper. Ever. Highly recommend. I dropped off my knives; a 6" Wüsthof boning knife and a Messermeister 10 inch chef knife prior to the non-essential business closures and was beginning to worry that I might not see them for months. Peter was exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating to my schedule to meet me at the closed market to return my knives. He went above and beyond to deliver them personally and make sure that I was happy. It's a pleasure to cook again with razor sharp knives that hold an edge because of Seattle Cutlery's superb sharpening work. I will be back as soon as this stay it home order is over to have the rest of my knives sharpened. Thanks again!

Super sad and disappointed to find this store no longer cares about their customers who need their knife sharpening services.

The show is broadcasted on KIRO radio and streamed on YouTube. You can also listen on a podcast. It is filmed in the industrial kitchen at the Hot Stove Society Cooking School in downtown Seattle. The best part for us is that we learned you can buy tickets to attend a taping of the show and it includes a freshly made breakfast. We immediately signed up and attended the one this past Tuesday. It was so much fun as we were treated to freshly made sticky buns, Shakshuka and Greek yogurt with granola. All of the food was delicious. The show being recorded was also fascinating to watch with lots of behind the scene activity capturing our attention. The guests on the show were informative and entertaining and some door prizes were given away to some audience members. After the taping, we got to take photos and talk with Tom, his staff and the guests. We really enjoyed ourselves and were well taken care of (and well fed!) by the staff. I recommend attending one of these shows for a great behind the scenes look and informative discussions about food and cooking from some local experts.

Tom Douglas and his daughter were great hosts and their guests were engaging as well. We enjoyed the food that was served as well. What bothered me to the point of dropping 2 stars was being offered a mimosa when we were seated, without being told it was not included in the price of our experience. I was not prepared for the steep charge for the drink when we were getting ready to leave at the end. Had I known in advance, I certainly would have politely declined the offer. It just really left a bad taste in my mouth which took away from what was otherwise a great experience.

She basically kicked me out of the store when I had been looking through their cards and stickers - which mind you were right in her view, so she had no reason to think I was being "shady" or suspicious or anything of the like - and I even offered to place the items I was looking at on the counter until I was ready to check out. After perusing about 5% of this jam packed store, whilst shoving food into her mouth, the lady seriously had the gall to ask me "if I was done" (mind you there were about 15 others in the store at the same time) because she was "closing the store to go pee". Long story short, this woman needs a reality check and attitude adjustment because it's clear she feels like she is above others and her behavior was not only unwarranted -and unprofessional, but honestly confusing as I don't understand what made her treat me like trash but I hope whoever usually mans the store is a nicer human because they had a ton of cool stuff in there; unfortunately much of which I was unable to even look at due to this woman literally forcing me to leave by trying to ring up everything I placed on the counter and then continue to ask if I'm "done" etc to get me to leave. Again, a shame for whoever the actual store owner is but pro tip for someone who has worked in customer service, don't let this lady be the face that deals with customers in your store.

You could tell she took great of pride in the incredible work she, and her team had done. These kitchen designs literally had the group in jaw dropping posses.
