My husband and I had a really great experience here. We own a one bedroom condo and the bedroom (only carpeted room) needed new carpet. Carpet Liquidators has a HUGE selection of remnant pieces of carpet that typically wouldn't accommodate several rooms, but when you only need it for one, it's perfect. There are some really nice really high end options for insanely low prices. Lewis Pardun was our guy from start to finish and he made the process so simple and painless. Sean came and measured for us ($50) and then a half an hour later we were in the store looking at remnants. You can also get standard roll carpet as well if you require more than one room. We found the perfect one, size and color, but it did not have a price tag. Lewis came to see the roll and put a price on it for us, and we were VERY happy with the cost. I have a feeling he was doing us a favor because it was far less expensive than even lowest end carpet from the big box stores up the street. Anyhow, he explained the cost breakdown for removal, disposal, and installation of the new carpet and pad, showed us the total and then took off the $50 measuring fee from that total! Overall a good experience. There was a sufficient number of carpets from which to find a suitable replacement for the area we wanted to do. Other than going into the store to look at the carpet and flooring selections, I did most everything else remotely by phone, text, or email. The removal and installation were well done and completed quickly. My only complaint is that when I provided my credit card for payment, I was charged the balance of the entire job prior to installation. That's not normal, and leaves the customer with nothing to retain if unsatisfied with the resulting product. read more

Lewis in the showroom was excellent to work with, he was very responsive and helpful. Lewis gets five stars. The installer, whose name I never got, however, was rude and disrespectful. My building is secured and the building rules prohibit propping the exterior doors open, so I arranged to have someone there to open the doors as needed while the work was done. The installer refused to have someone open the doors for him and threatened to leave unless he was allowed to prop the doors open or given keys to the property. I ended up deciding to give him the keys while he worked, but felt like I was in a no win situation. The installer gets zero stars. read more

After spending $2,300 to carpet our living room and stairs it all went downhill from there. The installers were almost two hours late and by the time they were done it was dark and we couldn't see anything wrong with the carpet, u til we woke up the next day and found drops of blood EVERYWHERE on our new carpet. During the install, one of the installers cut himself pretty bad and apparently didn't bandage himself up good enough and left drops of blood EVWRYWHERE! We also found blood on the outside of our house and a pile of leaves that were used to cover up a puddle of blood that our dog found. When I co ya yes to salesperson that day to inform him of what we were finding all I got was a sorry, no offer to send someone to professionally clean the carpet that was just installed! Talk about piss poor service! We will never use Carpet Liquidators again! read more

Came in looking for a remnant to go wall to wall in our bedroom. We were pleasantly surprised to find quite a good selection of pieces in our size. Lucked upon a very soft light beige piece that worked perfectly! Found out also that they contract with an edge binding service so our remnant looked like a beautiful giant area rug. Very low pressure sales. We were able to wander around looking at rugs without a salesman on our tail yacking in our ears about thread count & wear & blah, blah, blah. Came in looking for a rug on Black Friday. These guys are very reasonable, friendly, and I'd call this an honorable business. This place is a big space, and there are plenty of carpet and flooring selections. There wasn't a big rug selection (maybe 25 rugs hanging up), but we did find a 8'/11' rug we really liked selling for $300 below retail, excellent quality. We spoke with Mike Murphy and he gave us a Black Friday deal of another $100 off which became a very, very fair price. Once we took the rug home, we realized it didn't work with our existing color scheme so we took it back to Mike. Mike was totally cool, and refunded us no questions asked. The whole return process took less than a few minutes and was painless. We loved the no-pressure style that Carpet Liquidators has and we'll certainly be return customers. read more

Look elsewhere. After the sale, CL is not focused on customer satisfaction. They do have friendly staff and reasonably priced products. But there's a lot left to be wanted: * Overly optimistic up-front pricing The install quote went up $500 once they came out and did the detailed estimate. Apparently they didn't consider things like "remove the toilet" in the initial price for laying linoleum in a bathroom of a 100 year old home. Newsflash: if it's not a new construction, then the bathroom probably has a toilet in it. * Failure to install on committed date In my business, a missed date is a problem. In this business, once they have your deposit...you're no longer treated like the customer * Damage caused during install Home was professionally painted 2 days prior to install and there were 3 eye-level gouges in the wall. I called the sales person expecting customer service. What I got in return: you'll have to talk with the installer. He's the one who is licensed and bonded. The sales staff here are clearly paid on the up front deal Update: Despite that I had perfectly painted walls one day before the install, the installer denied responsibility for 3 of the 4 blemishes that were obviously caused by his team. He was very resistant to the thought of paying for the damage. I'm going to have my painter quote a repair. If there's an attitude turnaround and I get taken care of, then we'll up the star rating to a 2. read more

If the installers did a better job cleaning up when they were done this would be 5 stars. I have used Carpet Liquidators twice this year for two separate properties and have enjoyed working with them, but cleaning up after the job was done was sub par. The prices are competitive. The sales team is easy to work with. The installers are skilled and friendly. The lead installer was great to work with. They vacuum the new carpet, but then there is the dust and debris on counter tops and the pathway between the truck and inside the home near where the carpet is installed. Getting all the installers to do a final walk thru to sweep / vacuum that pathway would be huge. When there are 3-4 installers on the job that should only take a couple of minutes. read more

We originally order carpet from a big box store and 3 weeks later it arrived defective, so we tried to get it replaced immediately and the big box store turned us away not wanting to take any responsibility or accountability.
