My daughter googled restaurants on our way into town and we ended up here. We were a little skeptical to go in as it does look like a bar from the street but we are soooo glad we did! Service was amazing and the burgers were BOMB!! By far the best burgers we have ever eaten! Fresh and delicious! They had a wide variety on their menu including lots of vegan options and substitutions available and the waitress was great with suggestions. First time to try this location, although we weren't fans of the Eugene location that we went to so many years back. Let me start by saying We Absolutely Loved the Food!!!! Folks, it was a bit costly, which is part of the reason why I would rate it four stars. The only other reason I marked down from 5 stars was my daughters pot pies, although delicious, were moreover plate pies. They were broken and flat, although both daughters loved them. My philly sandwich and Cajun fries were delicious!! My wife absolutely loved the cauliflower wings, especially with the specialized buffalo sauce! Service and food were fantastic for the most part. Cost and product not lining up to the images, were the only issues. Would definitely go back again. Wouldn't need all of the side items, but wanted to try as much menu as I could. read more

Went here for lunch yesterday and had a GREAT experience. I had read reviews that they were slow and still trying to get their sea legs, but they have increased the staff and hours. They were very busy, but the staff rocked it. I ordered a tempeh reuben, when it came out it was a regular reuben. I was concerned for how long it would take to get it corrected, but had a piping hot & delicious tempeh reuben and fresh fries in front of me within minutes. Yes! A Cornucopia in Springfield, it's exactly what was needed. We came in on a Saturday around 8 (during the Duck game) and while there were seats, we opted for the bar seating by the window overlooking Main Street. Service was good and relatively quick considering they had only been open about a week. I was super happy to see that the menu wasn't too different from the Eugene locations, especially because that meant I could order the chicken philly! I always get worried when new locations of my favorite places open up and then they change not only the menu but how they cook the things from the regular menu. That was not the case here, it was the same delicious philly. Good job Cornucopia! The location is smaller, and the menu is too but don't like that get you down. They've done a good job with the space, I came here when the location was a Cheesesteak place and it was very stark white and sort of boring in comparison to the new look. It's a small place so it gets pretty crowd fast. My order got messed up. On the menu it said it came with pita bread I didn't get any told them about it and they said it doesn't come with the bread but clear as day says it on the menu. No worries though food was still good. They forgot to bring us our drinks I had to go up and grab them myself after watching them sit there forn10 minutes. Recently visited this spot, I have tried the Eugene one before. Friday night it was busy as expected, I was seated quickly, however we didn't get our waters until 10 mins in and our food took about 20 mins to get, wen I finally got what I ordered they messed up my order they added an ingredient I was allergic to. ( I did specified to my server that I didn't want that ingredient added) my server was super nice about the situation and offer to make a new one and took it off my tap. They should prob add more kitchen staff because it seemed like a lot of people were waiting for there food longer than expected. Other than that, the food was OK. read more

Went here for the first time and we will definitely be going back. Had the BBQ bacon burger was delicious, my husband had the Reuben said it was the best one he had had in awhile. A great start at a new location. The Springfield location is a smaller dining room that still captures the feel of Cornucopia restaurants. A large single table fills the middle and smaller tables line the walls, which are painted in greens and light browns. My wife and I were seated along a side wall, my wife was on the bench and if you are a shorter person this might pose a problem, as it's pretty low! Our service was prompt and friendly, if a bit frazzled. The menu is paired down from their other locations and focuses heavily on fancy salads and burgers, with a small selection of apps and other sandwiches. We both got burgers, her the bacon cheese, and i got the big baby blue, with fries and tots, respectively. The meals came out in good time and were a pretty good representation of what you'd find at one of the other long standing locations. They were cooked exactly how we wanted them, with lots of good toppings on them. The only very minor issues is I feel that the fries and tots could have been deep fried a touch longer, and the buns maybe could have been toasted, as they were barely able to stand up to the burgers they were conveying. Pricing is up there, but in line with what you would expect to pay these days for a loaded burger and fries. Long story short if you're a fan of Cornucopia this will be just like what you get from the Eugene locations. Its a nice addition to Springfield and adds another place to get good burgers, without stepping on the other burger joints toes, either due to the price, or different types of burgers than the other places. read more

Visited restaurant this evening for dinner. Arrived at 4:45pm and was seated. Happy hour runs from 3-5pm. After 15 minute wait, waitress arrived to take drink orders. I asked if happy hour prices still applied as we were seated prior to 5 pm. The time was now 5:03pm. The waitress stated, "well I don't know, I just got here and it's a computer thing based on when the ticket is opened." When we received our bill, we were charged full price for all of our drinks. Food was average and over-priced. I do not plan to return and would not would not recommend. read more

I must say, I'm so disappointed. Our family loved Cornucopia and after last nights experience I know for sure I will not return to the Springfield location. I ordered my favorite, pot pie. After taking my order about 5 minutes later waitress returns and says, pot pies are 86. Ok, and that means.....oh we have no more left. Ooooh ok, can I get a menu to order something else? I get a menu Abbas decide to order the special. After going through that I'm waiting for my food. Waitress returns, oh we have one more pot pie, they are cooking you the pot pie. I got excited! They delivered my families food and I had nothing, waitress comes back and says we are cooking you the special because we burned the pot pie. WHAT??? As she giggled, she let me know that the special will be really good. Well here comes the special. REALLY!!!!!!! If you settle for meritocracy at best, then this is the place for you. Then I received the bill........ not one cent discount to say sorry for your experience. Just so disappointed! read more

Very excited for Cornucopia to open in Springfield! Came for lunch today and ordered the chicken taco salad. Tasty but chicken was a bit grisly. And I recommend serving salsa on the side with all those chips that the salad is served on. My hubby happened to go there today with some friends and ordered the Reuben. He was very disappointed - said the corned beef was very tough. Will definitely come back knowing your restaurant's reputation for quality food is important! read more

The burgers are always very good although too expensive. I had a Mediterranean salad which was good but nothing that warranted av$15 price. We were there on a Saturday night when there were two large groups who had reserved tables. Though one large group arrived after we were finally seated, they got there 15 minutes after us yet were served before we were. Clearly they do not have the capacity or staff for large groups at the same time as smaller groups. After waiting for a table for nearly a half hour, standing in the doorway, (we were told 10-15 min wait) then we waited over an hour for our food. During that time the server never came by and apologized for the wait or mentioned anything. I had to call our server over to see what the story was-- she had obviously forgotten us. Then we only got excuses..."well we had two large groups" which didn't make it better. No discount was offered! If you want to serve large groups and put small groups on the back burner then say so and I won't bother going. When our food finally did arrive it was cold. I agree the noise is so bad you cant carry on a conversation. I think I'll stick with one of the Eugene Cornucopias... after I save up for it and I'm not in a hurry at all. Too bad because I was looking forward for a better place in my neighborhood. read more
