We sat inside. Its a small space. Service was not great and quite rude from a woman server. We waited quite some time before she even took or order, althogh took orders from those arriving after. She seemed genuinely perturbed. The steak ordered was a bit tough, but the fries were tasty. The short rib dish was good and tasted rich, but the large serving of elbow macaroni (menu stated buttered shells) served with it really did not go and the noodles were not buttered. The restroom was not clean and had no soap or toilet paper.

I started with the free-range eggs with mayo, and my wife started with the leeks with vinaigrette. The eggs were delicious, but the leeks may have been the best preparation I've ever had in my life. For our main courses, she had the egg muffin, and I had the sausage and mash. Our meal was superb. Whoever is in the kitchen has clearly learned the art of French cuisine well. Service was fantastic, the people-watching (we ate al fresco) was fantastic, and I simply couldn't think of a way to make this a better meal.

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. Cheers!

So I ventured out on my 20 minute walk to the spot I was warmly greeted and ushered to a table inside. Once I sat down and made myself comfortable, I produced the menu and ordered a glass of rosé a carafe of water, and of course, the muscles and fries. The muscles were cooked in an extremely delicious Normandy cream broth that was deliciously decadent and of course the fries were hand, cut and cooked to perfection. What I also love, is that just about every meal is served with baguette and of course I've used a baguette to dip in the delicious creamy broth - SO SO SO SO Good! After stuffing myself full of muscles and fries, I couldn't eat another bite, but of course I did order another glass of wine. If you were looking for a top tier, muscles and fries, this is a place. You should definitely check out. Beyond that, I saw so many other amazing dishes coming from the kitchen, and I could only imagine what else they have to offer on their delicious menu. Bon appétit.

We did order a couple of beverages which were mostly ice and sugar, so I wouldn't say their drinks are very good either.

This restaurant is really big. There's outdoor seating, and indoors on a first and second floor. As seen by my food pics, everything was delish. When the restaurant reopened, things only got worse. Our party of five was first told we didn't have a reservation and then was offered a table for four right by the entrance. We were later offered a high-top table, but I explained that I had recently undergone knee surgery and could not sit comfortably at a high-top. The manager's response was simply that it was the only option available, and she walked away. We were told the preferred tables were reserved. When I asked if we could make a reservation for one of those tables, I was told no because the restaurant had just reopened. The entire interaction left us feeling unwelcome. A customer sitting at the bar even commented that he believed we were being treated differently and said it appeared the restaurant did not want us there. After waiting more than two hours just for the restaurant to reopen, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. The poor communication, lack of accommodation, and overall service were unacceptable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

The staff was all very friendly and inviting and were happy to recommend their favorite dishes to us. My wife ordered a French onion soup and one of their famously large salads, which are served in these big bowls. I decided to try the chef's special, which was a beef tenderloin a la rossini (truffle sauce and foie gras). I'm not typically a foie gras fan, but I figured since we're in Paris that I'd give it a shot. I'm very glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. The steak melded perfectly with the truffle sauce and fois gras. This was all served with potatoes au gratin, and blanched green beans. Everything was perfect. I also ordered two large beers. A Grimbergin blonde and a Kronenbourg ale. I love how both beers were served in their respective brand's glasses. Such a nice touch. For dessert, we ordered an Apple Tarte Tartin, upon a recommendation from one of the staff. It was light, sweet, and served with some ice cream and créme fraîce. This was such a great dinner all around. Great food, great vibes, which all lead to a great evening. Would definitely recommend!

The food wasn't tourist trash, but not magnificent, either. The fries were crispy and wonderful, the duck breast was done decently, the salad a bit overdressed. The server didn't seem to understand wine pairings when I asked for a recommendation, but not a big issue. The vibe was off this Thursday afternoon. I was seated outside and a lot of tourists were walking around, giving it a bustling energy, but not in a good way. The waitstaff was clearly understaffed so getting a menu, ordering, paying, was all slow. Moreover, they moved with a frenetic quality that made me anxious. They were courteous and lovely, though, when they finally found time to interact with me or other patrons around me. Bathrooms: Just one tiny one in the back. Very clean and nice.
