French onion soup (too salty) fatty meat in the beef bourguignon, and bland mashed potatoes
    Marcela O.

We stopped to eat here after hours of walking after our tour at the Louvre and it looked appetizing enough. We were wrong. Another "French" meal with no flavor and I realized it was a tourist trap (If there's a hamburger on the menu, rest assured it is not a legit French restaurant). Service was very slow too but I noticed that to be a fixture in most places we ate at. The broth from the beef bourguignon was decent but the meat was soooo fatty! The mashed potatoes it came with had noooo butter or salt literally just mashed potatoes. Even the meat patty from my daughter's burger had no salt lol. So yes, another French restaurant disappointment :(

Great burger and fries. Frommages platter was the best thing on the table. The frites were excellent. Decent place. Service ok not excellent. My husband really enjoyed his beef tartare.

Stopped by here for lunch located near Notre Dame and French Quarter. Loved the interior and outside set up. Menu was easy to read and had a great lunch selection. Ordered a Matcha latte and was delicious so ordered another one and a chicken Moroccan like salad that was sweet amazing a flavorful. My friend ordered a charcuterie plate and enjoyed her meal too came with a fair amount of cheese and meet. Price was very reasonable. We enjoyed our experience here.

Splendid food. Relaxed ambience. Ate the beef Bourguignon and escargots. Both were great with little complaints. My first time eating escargots and guess they were cooked well enough for me to be turned off. In fact I they were cooked so well, we ordered more. The beef was cooked well and the flavors were rich

First beer is the French IP, a mix of a stout and a hoppy beer. The middle is enjoyable for all. And of course water

Not a bad spot to take in the Paris experience of people watching on the sidewalk patio with a glass of French beer and escargot! The Argentinian steak was delicious but the fries were a bit cold. I think the French actually serve it that way. The pork was considered a favorite on the menu but I wasn't a fan of the pungent taste and smell and taste of stewed green and red peppers. And lastly, the fish was a light dish if you're looking for a light bite. The escargot was our favorite and the French beers that was offered. Service was mediocre. So nothing too fancy about this place. But enough to say we at least tried as Americans.

Went here several times for breakfast and lunch on our most recent trip to Paris and really enjoyed it. The restaurant was never too crowded. The food was reasonably-priced and tasty. The service was perfectly fine. It's a casual brasserie with a very relaxed atmosphere, perfect for having a coffee/pastry and planning your day.

Food was good, service was a bit slow. Ate here before the real dinner rush so no excuse for the service. I had a chicken dish and a pork dish. I didn't catch the names but I hope my pictures help!

Came here randomly after an entire day of exploring the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Luxembourg Gardens and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful as he walked us through how the French correctly eat escargot. The food service was a bit slow but the food was very delicious. Price was decent for a restaurant in the Latin Quarter and we walked away feeling happy and full. Also, both the host and the bartender were extremely attractive so it was nice to have a view.

Delightful spot right on St. Germain, in the heart of Paris' geek section. Menus are designed to look like adventure comics, large map on wall lights up to illustrate each "story", all of which can be found on the website. The staff was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, kind, they made each meal a pleasant experience. The food was good to excellent. Standards like duck confit needed a bit more attention, but the melon and cucumber salad were magnificent and worth eating more than once. Pâté de campagne with pistachios and the tomato salad was a stellar meal that several of us had at one time or another The only thing we had there that just didn't really work was the duck burger, which was whole duck breasts on a burger bun with cheese, lettuce and tomato. The duck had the skin on and couldn't really be eaten as a burger, so while it's a cute idea, skip it for something else. If you're a fan of comics, and good food, this spot is sure to be your new headquarters in Paris. I'll be taking cases and solving mysteries from my table in the Northwest corner.

    Cappuccino's here are great!

We loved this place! The croque monsieur was surprisingly good & the cappuccinos were some of the best we've ever had. The comic book decor was fun & the service was good. We were happy to sit inside and get out of the rain. Did I mention the crepes? They are not to be missed. I highly recommend this place.

    Smoked salmon with ratatouille

The service was very quick and friendly. Still the food was kind of overpriced for the quantity. Me and my boyfriend were both still hungry after our meal. We had some salmon, which was delicious, and a bacon burger which was pretty average ...

    Mozzarella with tomatoes. Sensational taste!!!

Great location to meet friends. Prices are okay for this part of town, actually. And they have frozen yogurt and smoothies. :-)

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!

They have a clean bathroom upstairs, you'll just need to climb the staircase. We ordered the strawberry crepe and duck and asparagus galette bretonne. So there's actually a bit of a difference between a crepe and a galette. Crepes are usually sweet and made with wheat flour, while galettes are usually savory and made with buckwheat flour. Between the two, I enjoyed the strawberry crepe more, the strawberry jam made the crepe a delicious sweet treat. The flavors of the galette weren't as satisfying to my tastebuds, but I still enjoyed it. I would be interesting in trying other galette flavors next time. While my expectations weren't fully realized (I didn't LOVE it), I still enjoyed giving Breizh Cafe a try.
