Probably my favorite easy lunch spot in the 4th. Salads are always fun, interesting and tasty! Last time I went I ordered the goat cheese salad, the bread was tough and burned but I just ate the goat cheese with the bread they brought to the table so no big. Touristy (aka American diner) interior but it's not a tourist spot. I would also check out their soft drinks, their iced tea is delicious! read more

We were tired, hungry, and just looking for any restaurant with a table for four right away. Luckily, this corner cafe had a spot for us inside while all of their outdoor seating was filled. Most of the dishes were average-priced ringing to around €15.00 per plate. All of them came with a salad and frites or potatoes, which was a nice balance. I opted for the Beef Tartare while the rest of my table got the Duck or Chicken dishes. I have to say that for what is usually an appetizer dish, my beef tartare was quite filling. The taste was on point, but I do wish I had some bread to spread it on instead. Overall, pretty good spot. They have an English menu to cater to the foreigners like us, which was nice. read more

Tired, hungry, and looking for dinner... We stumbled upon Au Coeur du Marais after perusing through the streets for what seemed to be HOURS, but really probably 20 minutes. Anyway, we didn't know what to order since this was our first French restaurant experience. The waitor helped us choose through the not so popular items (which seemed to be quite a few because everything I wanted was a thumbs down...from the waiter). So finally I think he gave up and just told us what to order. We got the duck breasts and the sausage with fries. The duck breasts were a little dry and over cooked, while the sausage didn't have any taste to it...so can't even imagine the other items I wanted to order. Fries were delicious though. But you can't really screw up fries in my opinion...unless you REALLY don't know what you are doing in the kitchen. read more

Went to this restaurant while in Paris for a quick lunch before going sight seeing. The restaurant is nice located on the corner with outside sitting which made it a perfect lunch spot. The waiter was nice and accommodating. The food was kind of disappointing: I got the onion soup which had no onion flavor, no salt no paper, and a salat with brea cheese that also tasted so bland. read more

Both times I was in Paris, I made a trip here. The first time, me and my boyfriend were strolling through le marais when we noticed this place. It was small, chic and inviting. We sat down to eat outside despite the cold, because the heat lamps outside made it plenty warm! The music was cool too - lots of 60s and 70s oldies that I loved. The service was awesome, and I had the same waiter when I went back months later with my mom. The charcuterie board was delicious and the bread was great and abundant, they just kept it coming. They also had great happy hour specials for drinks! Definitely a great place to grab a bite, a drink or a cappuccino. read more

The food here is really good and my waiter was great, however the other waiter, the blonde guy in the overalls, was really rude to me. When he brought my food, he barked "ATTENTION" at me. He was noticeably gracious with all *his* tables. When I asked for the wifi, he brusquely said "we don't have it" and went to go speak ill of me to his colleges within earshot, as if I did not understand. Tu t'es fou de moi?!?! I work at a high-end restaurant in New York City, and if I were to exhibit this sort of behavior I would be taken off the floor, sent home, and written up. I was going to stay and have a second coffee, but this was unacceptable to me. read more

I loved the camembert salad here. It was easily the best sit down meal I had in Paris. Delicious potatoes and great bread basket. My boyfriend got the brunch deal which was a lot of good food as well. read more

We popped in here for a happy hour drink while walking around Le Marais. Place seemed chill and service was good. Had the aperol spritz and boyfriend had a caipirinha, which mostly tasted like a skinny margarita. Weird. read more

Wonderful stop! I'm vegetarian and my mom was craving meat, so we walked down the street expecting to have to go to two separate stores. The original plan was for me to get something at Hank burger, and my mom to get something elsewhere. We arrived at Hank burger but no one was inside (a bad sign). We turned around and found this gem. We sat outside. The heaters were perfect, warm enough but not too hot. I ordered the veggie burger and my mom ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Our waitress spoke wonderful English and was very nice. My mom loved her burger! The bacon was not cooked enough to her liking, but she still raved about the burger. My veggie burger was INCREDIBLE! So much flavor and did not have big chunks of beans or vegetables. There was a wonderful sauce on it as well (though I'm not sure it was entirely vegan) and the avocado on it was super fresh. The fries that came with it were cooked to perfection as well. This has been our favorite stop in Paris thus far, and we will likely be back before we leave as it accommodates us both. read more

Went in Sept 1. My credit card was not able to be proceeded. The manager "Thelma" trusted us to come back and pay our 37 euro bill. We came back that night too pay, and, but we're not able to thank Thelma because he was gone. Very nice treatment. I hope her gets the payment and the tip I left. read more

Had brunch at au coeur du marais and wasn't very impressed. We had a lemon crepe which was very sour, and bread with a selection of butter/jams. Coffee was good. One member of our party went for the confit de canard, and that was very disappointing. The flavor was just off. So, the food wasn't anything special, but the location and the place itself is very pleasant. read more

Run, don't walk, to this low-key café in the 4th. I enjoyed a fabulous meal at a bargain price on a Monday night out in Le Marais. I ordered the onion soup, charcuterie and cheese plate, and duck confit. The food was exquisitely prepared and well presented by the wait staff. I also enjoyed the lively banter with nearby restaurant patrons. I plan to return later in the week. I can't wait! read more

Delish and quite a scene for people viewing. It's in the heart of le Marais with many shops and cafes nearby. Crepes were tasty. Cafe excellent! We got the ham, fromage, egg and then Carmel /banana for dessert. Warm heaters to sit outside. Comfy seating. read more

What a cute place!PLace was hopping with young people. I had a club sandwich that was tremendous and fresh as well as French onion soup and my friend had a burger and salad that she raved about. This place is definitely fun to hang out and have a drink. I can't really comment on the food as we just had the cheese plate -- which was certainly good. But we thoroughly enjoyed our wine and beer while sitting in the sideway-Cafe section. It seemed to be mainly locals and very friendly. Drinks were very reasonably priced and good. I don't know where the four star rating comes from. Maybe their alcohol is good, but their food is downright inedible. All four our dishes were awful and they completely ignored our requests. We've been in Paris for a week and have eaten at more than a dozen places and this is the first bad meal we have had. read more
