Food was terrific. Sat outside and enjoyed the sound of the bells of adjacent church. Really set the mood of the Parisian flavour. The waiter was very fast with the food delivery, so I give a good review of the service

Atmosphere: 5 The restaurant is super cute and had a nice view of the street. Their bathroom is downstairs and were basically toilet rooms with the sink outside. We were seated in a two person booth and it was cozy there. I think anywhere else would be a little chilly. The menu has both French and English on it! Service: 5 The waiter was nice and he was attentive to what we were trying to order despite not speaking French. He knew some English too so that helped a ton! Food: 5 We ordered beef tartare, onion soup, and the mix cheese and meat charcuterie board. The beef tartare was very well seasoned and tasted so good. It came with fries that weren't very salted which was fine because it paired so nice with the beef tartare. The bread came with the board which had a nice mix of cheeses and meats. The onion soup was really nice. It didn't hit you with a strong flavor and smell of onions and the toasted baguette in the soup added a nice crunch. Overall, it was a nice meal and I might try something different than the cheese and meat board.

Had a wonderful experience here on my last trip to Paris, excellent service and quality of food. Very helpful and accommodating staff (no French speakers in the group I was in). Drinks are wonderful, and I loved the food as well. Baked Camembert with honey (a special on the day we came) especially stood out. Went back later in the trip and had a similarly nice experience. Nice spot for travelers.

I enjoyed this dinner! We shared the cheese board and escargot, I enjoyed both! I had the beef carpaccio for dinner, it was really delicious and came with arugula, burrata and artichoke hearts. I sampled the duck confit which was really tasty. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert which was alright. Overall, I'd recommend this stop!

Hubs decided on this restaurant for dinner as the duck confit caught his attention. Upon our arrival, we were quickly greeted and seated. Our waiter was very friendly and took time to point out the specials and some items on the menu to us. Started with the melon and prosciutto salad starter to share. The melon was sweet and great pairing with the prosciutto. Also fresh mozzarella on top of the salad. Hubs and dad ordered the duck confit and both found it very flavorful. The meat was falling off the bones. I ordered the salmon tartare (Le Kyoto). At first glance it may seem like a small dish, but it was actually a pretty generous portion and filling. Sesame oil served on the side. Refreshing and not heavy. Daughter ordered the linguine. Didn't realize it was served with pesto. She has a nut allergy but learned this pesto was made nut free. Lots of pasta which she enjoyed. Based on our dishes, we decided to order a duck confit and melon salad for take away for mom and son. Packaged nicely. However, found out later the melon was missing from my mom's salad - that was the best part missing.

Nice Parisian cafe friendly and good service - enjoyed a quick breakfast with strong coffee and a tasty omelette and pastries. A rainy day out but charming spot near my hotel. Recommended.

    Duck Confit

I usually go here for breakfast but this time I tried it for dinner. I was craving for Duck Confit. It was amazingly good! The potatoes were perfectly crispy and slight garlic flavor was perfect touch. Service was wonderful and very professional. Love this place!

My colleagues and I ate one evening after walking around Paris. Although it was warm outside we chose to eat inside due to the prevalent cigarette smoke outside. It took forever to be served here but we were not in a hurry this time. I ordered a lamb shank and some French Fries. The food was very good and might have been the best meal that I had on that two week trip to Europe. My colleagues also enjoyed their food as well. The service was slow but the food was very good. The location was very busy. Cheers to my English-speaking waiter and cheers to the recommendation to order Pelforth, a not brown ale that tastes similar to Newcastle but the Pelforth has a better kick. Four stars!

Cute restaurant near the Arc de Triomphe

Really enjoyed Le Franc Tireur. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our large party without a reservation. The food was very good and the cocktail were delicious! The restaurant is located on a cute corner property in the 17th so not overly crowded and a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe.

Service was really good. People were NICE and POLITE! Food was good. I'm no expert in French cuisine, but the food was good and the prices were comparable to anywhere in the area. The service was so good I actually came back a second time alone, to eat eggs and soup. Lol. This place is open all day so it's a good spot to grab food if you're in between lunch and "dinner."

I started with the free-range eggs with mayo, and my wife started with the leeks with vinaigrette. The eggs were delicious, but the leeks may have been the best preparation I've ever had in my life. For our main courses, she had the egg muffin, and I had the sausage and mash. Our meal was superb. Whoever is in the kitchen has clearly learned the art of French cuisine well. Service was fantastic, the people-watching (we ate al fresco) was fantastic, and I simply couldn't think of a way to make this a better meal.

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. Café Mademoiselle was nearby, had a sidewalk full of diners, and I grabbed a table quickly, fearful of getting shut out of lunchtime offerings entirely. I should know better than to order a salad in Paris. Not that they'e bad, simply that they're quite different than California salads. Quite different and not as appealing in my opinion. But another dish was also ordered at my table, an unusual choice for the two of us dining there. It was a special of the day, Araignee de Porc (23€), and not something I'd personally have chosen. It was delicious. French chefs know what to do with this cut of meat (pork) and I was wowed. The salad (Salad Nicoise, 23€) was almost forgotten as the pork dish took center stage. Service here is terse. The restroom is down a steep flight of stairs. The place serves many tourists, and does so in a manner that doesn't inspire one to harbor overly fond memories. But here's the recipe for success: find out what the chef's special is that day and order that. That's how you do Café Mademoiselle.

The hotel is so regal and beautiful, with something to admire around every corner. That said, the jazz night itself was nothing particularly special in my opinion. We had dined at the Ritz in London a week earlier, and that was a truly quintessential jazz experience, complete with live performers, dancers, and a singer. Unfortunately, the experience in Paris didn't compare. The drinks, however, were 10/10! They even created a special cocktail just for us based on our preferences, and it was SO good. If you're looking for a beautiful place for drinks, I would absolutely recommend this. But the dinner... OMG, just a big NO. We started with a few salads, and for our mains we ordered the steak and the lobster pasta. Unfortunately, both were incredibly disappointing, and I could barely finish my dish. For a hotel of this caliber, I was honestly shocked by how underwhelming the food was. All in all, the setting, the historic hotel, the beautiful atmosphere, and the overall experience made for such a special evening. I just wish the food had lived up to everything else.

First off, this is an iconic historic hotel. Beautiful location at Place Vendome. My friend and I were hungry and on a weekday night and randomly walked in and were promptly seated. I'm not sure how it normally goes here regarding wait times and reservations. The French onion soup and lobster rolls were divine. The server would walk around with a bread box and would bring the whole box to the table and you could pick from there. We had cereal bread and an onion focaccia. Amazing! They gave us complimentary chocolates too. The vibes and ambience are immaculate. It looks like a classic fancy restaurant. There was a piano player too! They gave us a little chair for our purses. This was a lovely Parisian experience. Highly recommend.
