Awesome place for breakfast/brunch and something lunch and dinner. But tonight my family came for dinner around 8-9 pm, and what a dramatic difference. The service was horrible, they kept bringing us the wrong food. Then to top it off, the food was a bit cold, the broccoli cheddar, and just bad customer service. However, any other time of the day it is amazing, I just suggest not to come late or things will just be all messed up. read more

I just had the worst chicken salad sandwich at this Corner Bakery ever. I'd feel bad giving a 1 star but pretty much deserves it. There was barely any chicken salad how embarrassing, the tomatoes took up the whole sandwich and wet bread. I got it to go how disappointing. The kettle chips were the best part. Ordered online, was quite happy with my food. Got the mac and cheese (with breadcrumbs on top, nom nom) and a pesto sandwich. Both were solid offerings. The mac and cheese sauce was a little thin for my tastes, but pretty flavorful. My half & half meal also came with chips and the woman at the drive-thru pickup window gave me a free cookie! Took one bite of my hotel's breakfast and I had make a run to Corner Bakery. I would have every meal here during my business trip if I could. The breakfast eggs are amazing - hot, cooked perfectly, fresh, so filling!! My dinner here was fantastic too! Service is exceptional. Place is clean. Prices are reasonable. Awesome food! We had the Italian panini, cheddar broccoli soup, and salad. Prices are good considering the portions were quite large. We paid $30.00 with large drinks. The building is very clean and at a comfortable temperature. The staff was friendly. Wait was about 10-15 minutes. We have Panama Bread in Missouri and I think this food is better. read more

Came here to use the free internet while waiting for my car to be fixed at the local Audi dealership. (The Audi dealership doesn't have a spot to plug in a laptop to wait.) Here is my review: 1) $7.49 for a flatbread, egg, sausage, cheese breakfast sandwich with a large Ice Tea. 2) Sandwich was a little messy, egg falling out everywhere, needed the salsa to add moister and flavor. Overall: would not order again as a sandwich but was tasty. a. Egg was freshly cooked and tasty b. flatbread was a nice multi grain and toasted well and had good flavor c. apple wood sausage a little rubbery and dry, was not the correct size for the flatbread a little small. d. cheese was old, had dry corners on it, not really melted on to the sandwich. 3) The Ice Tea is Ice tea. They make it seem pretentious with some berry tea but overall nothing special. It was still warm when I served it. 4) Location is clean and nice. 5) Service: a. Had to wait in a small line, one cash register was open at the time b. There was a group of employees sitting around at a table talking to themselves c. Menu is kind of confusing, I ordered something and then there is a bunch of questions of extras and sides that come along with it, the person taking the order said it to quickly. d. She hands you a number and receipt and that is all, no explanation. I figured out what to do next but it could have been clearer instructions for first time users. e. Sandwich gets delivered with no utensils or sauces, need to prepare before sitting down, get napkins and forks (which you need to ask for them at counter). This could improve, even Whataburger down the street brings napkins and utensils with the order. f. Only one employee came outside during my stay, the manager, who asked about my service. 6) Internet Quality POOR outside. OVERALL: Glad I have somewhere to sit to write this review while waiting for my Car. This is just a pretentious Fast Food Joint, filled with the typical want to be seen at a cafe location crowd. The food doesn't look or taste bad but if you want something more hardy with more flavor without having to add a sauce try somewhere else. This is more of a get a coffee and a muffin and pretend to read your ancient philosophy book while gossiping with the other dependas that have nothing else to do during the day. read more

I love coming here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The workers are extremely friendly and considerate. The food comes out really fast, but very hot and fresh. I would recommend everyone to come here. I love ordering the chicken pomodori with a side bowl of the cheddar broccoli. read more

Great eats! Friendly attentive staff, management. Had a grilled chicken salad flat, they went a little too easy on the condiment however the Asian edamame, quinoa & pico made up for it (tasty) along with the black currant tea always a favorite! We recently ate breakfast here as we were waiting to fly out of El Paso and it is just down the road from airport. Let's just say all 4 of us were greatly surprised at how awesome all of our food was. It's kind of overwhelming at first because of the giant menu up on the back wall where you order. But then you can look at some of the pastries and food in a glass cabinet and want to try it all. We had everything from eggs to cinnamon rolls with special coffees and teas and loved it all. Would go back often if we lived their, but for sure will make it a stop the next time we are in El Paso. Something their for everyone I am sure. Ordered online and picked up from drive thru. When I got home realized my order was completely wrong. Called them to let them know. The person who answered the phone knew right away what I was talking about and quickly made an excuse. No apology or offer to refund my money. She told me my order was "waiting to be picked up if I wanted to come back". Got the pesto cavattapi with small side salad. Pasta was absolutely drenched in the sauce. Flavor was decent enough, but why drown it all?. Same thing with the salad: submerged in dressing and covered in croutons. Back off on the sauces and dressings and it wouldn't be too bad. read more

There are many places to go for good food and service. Let's just say we talk more on service because the food seems to be on point each time. The Corner Bakery on Airway has two young ladies I encountered, Nikki and Priscilla. I mentioned to Nikki that I only come for coffee for dietary reasons and she immediately offered alternatives to bread. She offered me a menu to look over and carefully answered my questions and sold me on the other options on the menu that made my choices less restricting. Nikki is so friendly that I had to mention it. Priscilla, was also great in offering service. I was focused on Nikki to help because we started the dialogue about my special needs. Priscilla is a walking smile! For the most part the staff is engaging. All offer a smile from what I see but I was serviced by the two mentioned in this post. OMG! This place is awesome. The staff was super nice and knew the menu very well. I came for dinner one night had the cheese steak which was the bomb! The mac n cheese with tomatoes and bacon and gooey cheese was heavenly. The next day I went and had the chicken pomodori which is to die for with a spinach sweet crisp salad. They have excellent treats like the lemon pound cake, lemon tart pie and cheesecake brownie. You won't be disappointed. read more
