I was feeling crummy as all get out on a work trip and needed some hot and spicy broth to clear me out. Hallelujah, there was a CoreLife nearby. I admittedly don't even remember what I ordered during this visit but I do remember the staff being exceptionally friendly and helpful with my seafood/shellfish allergy when making my order. I'm always a sucker for their drinks so I also ordered the cayenne apple (I believe) juice. My soup was loaded with veggies, noodles and just enough spice to get things moving in my head. Parking is easy with the location being somewhat strip mall-ish. I was also impressed to see that they offer an outdoor seating area as well. While there, they informed me that soon they would be adding alcohol options (I believe they are the first CoreLife location to dip their toes in the boozesphere). In summary: if you've never been to CoreLife, it's a great spot for affordable, fast and feel good food. Soups, noodle bowls, and salads that pack a punch of flavor. We tried this place 2nd day they opened. I ordered the ranch flank steak rice bowl. This had purple rice, arugula, pickled red onion, falafel, pickled jalapeños, beef broth, steak and ranch dressing. It was really good. My husband ordered the spicy chicken rice bowl. This had purple rice, spinach, pickled red onion, sriracha, falafel, roasted vegetables, spicy Thai chicken and chicken broth. His was really good. Didn't care for the vegetable medley. He also ordered a curry chicken coconut soup. This was good just needed salt and pepper. We both had ginger lemonade, which was very good. We will definitely return to try different items on the menu. read more

Good health conscious selections. Generous portions. Love the broth! Not a fan of the "stand in line and pick your food " service concept and often, younger staff interact more with one another than with the customer- but that is to be expected. I've only been here a few times but everything I've gotten has tasted amazing! They have some nice teas and lemonades if you don't want water and the beet lemonade is actually pretty good. The portion size is good and the food is fresh and made in front of you. The staff is quick and friendly and the restaurant is always clean inside and out. Their patio area is great because it's on the side of the building and in the shade. They also have good kids options for your little ones :) the only reason i didn't give five stars is because of the price. Drinks aren't included so you have to pay for your meal and drink separately and it can get a little pricey. But it tastes delicious read more

Update: The owner did contact me to resolve the problem, so I really do appreciate that! Clearly they care about their food and business, and it was the mistake of one employee. Really filling. Decent food. However, I knocked them down another star for sanitary reasons. The guy who put toppings on my bowl had gloves on (which is great!), but he also used the same gloves hands to scratch a red spot on his hairy arms and never changed gloves after that. He continued to touch more food without changing gloves. It made me feel so ick! What we got: The food was pretty decent! I had the spicy Thai chicken with noodles, and it was good. Maybe a little bit too much sauce or dressing, but still delicious. Very flavorful. My boyfriend got Sriracha Ginger Tofu & Ancient Grains, and he said he said it was "okay" and "too spicy for just a salad." My sister got a custom bowl, which she also said was okay. Manager is a rude and disrespectful ahole. From what I understand his employees can't stand him. My wife ordered a kids meal because she's older and can't eat a full meal. She offered to pay for a full price meal but the manager refused and told her to leave the restaurant. We won't be back. I hadn't been in few months and it was quite the sticker shock. I know food costs have risen but WOW! More upsetting was the long line and wait to order. But I was most disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. The trays had food debris on the outside, the drink area was messy and no sweet tea the entire time I was there. I always have an amazing experience at this location. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. I always get the Spicy Thai Chicken wrap or bowl. It is so tasty! I have the app for CoreLife and they always seem to send you a coupon every now and then. I used my birthday coupon the other day and the guy working was so nice and helpful. Great atmosphere, staff is always welcoming, food is fresh, delicious, and healthy! I love the menu options but even better is being able to build your own bowl or salad to customize. They have smoothies, soups, wraps, bowls, salads, all delicious! My only request is to bring back the Chicken Tinga bowl which was a corporate decision. This is without a doubt one of my new favorite places to grab a bite to eat in Murfreesboro! The fact that everything on the menu is healthy is just icing on the cake considering how good it is. So far I have tried the Falafel and Hummus power plate and the Summer Berry Chicken Quinoa bowl and both are amazing! They must fry the falafel in super hot oil as it doesn't come out greasy at all. They have a multitude of dressings to choose from, but I went with a seasonal Greek Yogurt Blueberry for my salad side and it was delicious. To top it off, the roasted root veggies were fresh and delicious without the need for a bunch of salt laden seasoning. I snagged a bite or two of the Quinoa bowl that my son ordered and it was great as well. The lemonade and tea bar is absolutely fantastic with lots of options. The Beet Lemonade is very subtle with beet flavor and delicious. One of the seasonal choices is a Cranberry Cayenne Lemonade that you'll love if you're a fan of tartness that leave a little tickle in your throat. Another great choice is the Coconut Water Fruit Punch - very refreshing! Finally I grabbed a to-go cup of the Tropical Green Tea, and it didn't disappoint either. As far as the service goes, it was fast, courteous and efficient. You couldn't ask for nicer folks and the entire restaurant is sparkling clean. I was looking for something to eat between appointments today and found this place on Yelp. I looked at their website and saw that basically everything is gluten free and there was also loads of vegetarian options, so I was in. When you walk in, you go towards the counter and you first encounter the menu posted on the wall. The menu is pretty impressive and also offers make your own options. Then you walk to the counter and a staff member assists you, making your order for you. I went for the Greens and Ancient Grains bowl along with a side of Brussels Sprouts. The man who helped me also asked as he made it, if all of the ingredients were ok. Both were delicious and because I ordered a large bowl, I had leftovers, so it was worth the price. I was also impressed with the many beverage choices. And they have little sample cups so you can taste anything that interests you. (I'm still drinking this glorious apple cider green tea now.) Anyway... I live 35 miles away from this place but I plan to come back before my next necessary trip to Murfreesboro. It was worth it, that's for sure! read more

My first visit to CoreLife was as an interloper at a Yelp Elite event. A friend hooked me up with the unearned VIP treatment which now has me reconsidering my life goals. As I made my way through the free sampler tray that was delivered in the middle of our meal, I will admit that I Googled, "How to become a Yelp elite." Note to self: write more reviews. Anyway, CoreLife is a terrible name. It sounds like the kind of place where you would be expected to do stomach crunches while nibbling raw carrots. Let's just say, my expectations were low. I was unfamiliar with the restaurant, so I read some reviews. This chain store is the first franchise of its kind in Tennessee. They offer fresh healthy food and are vegetarian and vegan-friendly. I saw falafel and honey roasted sweet potatoes on the menu, so I was in for checking it out... despite the bad name. The food was fresh (as advertised), delicious, and filling. I went with the large Mediterranean green bowl (sans tomatoes) adding the recommended cucumber basil dressing. The menu (online, on the wall, on paper, and behind the counter) has large colorful pictures to help you out. The staff is also helpful with making suggestions. You can build your own bowl or customize the items on the menu. The manager said people often pair a small salad and a small soup. And then there were the "hand-crafted" beverage options like honey ginger lemonade. And cayenne lemonade. And beet lemonade. Feeling my VIP Elite status drawing to an end like Cinderella approaching midnight, I went crazy and tried them all. Yes, I was *that* guy at the beverage stand. Sorry, not sorry. I ultimately went with the sweet tea. And then washed that down with some coconut water fruit punch. Both were great. The space was large and inviting with lots of seating options: booths, tables, outside seating, and taller bar tables. Bus your own tables, friends. No awkward ambiguity there... they offer large signs with instructions on the wall near the exit. Be sure to wave goodbye to the friendly employees on your way out. New place been meaning to check out and I finally got the opportunity today (7/2/18). I ordered take out; However, I got a good vibe for the place while in there. The place is 100% healthy food!!! CORELIFE has cool employees and they are very supportive in helping you with your order. I was like being in a foreign country lost and didn't know what to add to my order to make it more health savvy! This place is good for couples or big party dining. (See pics) Ok, to the real deal now - THE FOOD! The food was great... I ordered the Spicy Chicken Rice Bowl and my wife had the Spicy Thai Chicken and Rice Noodles. We were amazed at how favorable and good the food was. Note that if it states spicy, it's SPICY! However, I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy foods. So, what's hot to me may be great for others who like spicy foods. The food was fresh and it was 100% HEALTHY! They even offer TOFU here... You must check out the menu for yourself and see all the cool choices that CORELIFE offers. I will go back no doubt and I highly recommend this place to anyone. This will probably be my go to spot for lunch and dinner during the week days. Trying to stay on the healthy side got easier since CoreLife Eatery opened up. This place has everything from salad bowls, rice bowls, soup and noodles. A lot of variety so you won't be bored eating the same thing over and over again. The inside is clean, open and lots of table. Their fresh juice far is awesome too. One price for a cup and you can pick whatever you want to drink. I got the poke fire bowl. When I saw my scoop of tuna I thought the portion was small but once you mix your bowl together it was just enough. I was full and couldn't even finish it. I randomly ran into this place when I came into their plaza. I thought I'd try them since they seem to be a healthy place and I was looking for that. I ordered the SouthWest Grilled Chicken Bowl and it was amazing. I'm not a spicy person, but it looked so good I had to try it! I was able to handle the bit of spiciness (might omit the pickled jalapeños next time) and the dressing had a little kick too but I loved it so I'm glad I went with the original dressing on the side. They also have juices, I tried the beets with lemonade and it was amazing and so refreshing. The portion size was big too! Beth took care of me and she was so friendly and had great customer service skills! I love a bit out of the way but will sure be coming back again to try more items I saw on the menu :) read more

A wide variety of meals in a bowl await you at this locally recognized restaurant. They were named in popularity vote by our newspaper as the best place for a quick lunch. Their bowl meals fall under the headings of: Green Bowls Grain Bowls Broth Bowls Power Plates (sorry, not a bowl) Warm Rice Bowls I got the Tuna Poke Fire Bowl, which fell into the last category. It was served in the style of a poke bowl that I saw on the food channel, which is the base rice and then dollops of the other ingredients arranged around the outside of the bowl. I make a point of this because my first experience with poke was layered, one ingredient on top of the other like scattered sushi. It was not fiery, as I thought it would be, Ginger dressing was on request, and I am glad I requested it. All of the flavors were well balanced. The raw tuna was wonderful. If you like, you can build your own bowl. Well, you don't build it. They build it but you pick out your ingredients that are on display behind a glass panel, like so many burrito places. Of particular note are their teas. Many unique iced teas were available, including Beet Lemonade and what I remember as Cranberry Cayenne Lemonade. I suggest getting the small bowl and soup combo. It was plenty and I enjoyed the balance and blending of all the flavors. Not a bad place, considering I don't usually go in for food like this. It is definitely on the list of places to stop when driving ride-share. It is also a place to bring my wife who complains about restaurants that don't have a good salad selection. Not sure what I was expecting from this place but since all my friends kept talking about it I had to try it. I finally made it in on a Sunday, there was no line we was able to walk right in. I went with the tuna poke bowl and I was happy with it. It was alot of food for the small bowl I couldn't even finish it. My bf went with the curry bowl and it was ok. More on the bland side. I guess I'm about lots of flavors and to me healthy food is bland and just blah. It just didn't hit the spot for me. Glad I finally tried it so I won't wonder about this place no more. As a vegan migrating from the SoCal area back south, this place is a breath of fresh air. It's nice to walk into a place and see something on the menu that I don't have to order with so many complications. I wish there were more items to choose from. I love this place. read more

My wife and I have been here a few times, and we've typically enjoyed it but our experience today, 3/4 at 5 pm, was not a pleasant one. First, while ordering, the girl who was making my food, while she was wearing gloves, rubbed her gloves on her shirt, then grabbed a hand full of cabbage and put it in my bowl. She also threw the food that spilled on the counters from the assortment of toppings back into the containers. That food could have been sitting there all day. Second, several girls were touching their faces, hair, and grabbing the sanitation towel with gloves on, then continued to handle and make the food. I was disgusted. These employees are going to get someone sick. I already don't feel good while writing this. I go here for the "beet lemonade" I've been here several times for it. I took a sip, and it tasted exactly like soapy water. I wish I were exaggerating. I always get this drink, and I had it the other day. That's when I went to speak to a manager, and a girl that looked like she was in high school came up, and I told her, and she didn't blink, acted unfazed, and just said sorry. The look on her face seemed like she didn't take what I was saying seriously. I've worked in restaurants for years and this place was a huge health code violation. I proudly ate at this place and had no complaints in the past. Sadly my wife and I won't be returning. It was too many sanitary red flags for one visit. Proceed with caution. One of my favorite places to eat in the Boro. They have excellent salads, and I've tried them all. The tacos are tasty and their tortillas are soft and chewy. The broth bowls are good. I'd get those more if I wasn't usually grabbing takeout. I had one issue where I ordered online and my food never made it to the counter. I filled out a survey and received an email from the owner along with a credit toward my next meal. I haven't had any issues since, and I'll continue going back. read more

The food here is fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the service for take out orders is horrible. My last four orders from there have had problems: 1st - ordered through their app showed up 40 min later when the food was supposed to be done only to find that they had either not prepared it (and thought they had) or gave it to someone else. I had to wait another 30 min for them to prepare my order. 2nd - ordered through their app. Showed up 30 minutes later after the food was supposed to be ready only to find they hadn't started it yet. Had to wait 20 more minutes. 3rd - ordered through Uber Eats. The driver showed up and the store had no order even though it was on the driver's phone. They prepared the order then (keeping the driver waiting) only to leave off two items. 4th - ordered the replacement items for 3 through Uber Eats. Again driver showed up and the store claimed they didn't have the order and the manager acted as if it was fraudulent. The Uber driver texted us to confirm. After we confirmed, the manager had the driver call my wife. The manager was rude to my wife even after she pointed out that the order was valid, was a replacement for the items they left off of the prior order, and the order was reflected on the driver's phone. To add insult to injury, the manager told the driver to cancel the order. Fortunately the driver was good and refused to do so. We eventually got the right food three hours after we did the first order. read more

Chipotle setup inside they def copied the concept. Salads looked pretty good they have 3 sizes from 8.99 to about 11.99. The hot dinner was less impressive and honestly not very good although the salads are better. They skimp on what you put on the salad especially if it's the larger one with only one scoop of what you picked to add to your salad. One huge issue is I went here for the healthy alternative but the oil based salad dressings are all canola oils. Anybody with half a brain knows canola or similar oils are the worst oil you can possibly consume and they should not be on any menu stating healthy. This was a huge disappointment as I would never use canola oil. Olive oils is relatively cheap these days it's insane any plAce would use canola anymore. No organic choices at all which is really bad since everything is so unhealthy. The steak added to the largest salad was a decent portion of course no organic meat but that's another issue. If they could use better ingredients this place would be a welcome addition to the usual fast food garbage littered everywhere. A good quick fix would be get some real olive oil and I mean real not the fake stuff. I think they will have to lower the prices of the smaller salads and dinners if they want to stay in business here because there are good alternatives nearby cheaper. read more
