Repeat customer experience: This is my second time using Cor movers. The first time I was left extremely impressed and overwhelmingly happy, this is the exact reason I chose Cor to help my moving needs again. My second move ended up being a complete opposite experience and moving nightmare. First off I booked with Dan a month ahead of my move and the date and time was confirmed from 8-9am on Friday. The week of my move Dan called and moved my time to a mid afternoon timeslot which caused major backlog to my day and appointments I had organized/scheduled. Next, the two man team showed up and immediately were surprised that the job was not a 1 bedroom quick move job. I very clearly described my needs to be a 2 bedroom apartment(1st floor, no stairs) move into a single story home I recently purchased. I also had a 5x5 storage unit that I needed to get moved over and was part of the original job and quote. So in recap I had a 2 bedroom first floor apartment and single story 5x5 storage unit 5 minutes away needing to be moved. The movers once again we're surprised and frustrated to show up to a 2 bedroom job after being told by their boss Dan that the job was a quick 1 bed and storage unit move. I know this as they expressed their displeasure multiple times by saying things- this isn't a 1 bedroom, this is going to take us all day, we should have done this job first thing this morning, I dont want to work until 6pm today, etc. This instantly raised red flags and concerns. I reached out to Dan and expressed my concern. He stated that he didn't know where the mixup happened and offered to lower the hourly rate from $115/hr to $110/hr. I do believe most people would've expected something more for such a big blunder. Besides the point now. The two man team continued to work and boy did they try to move as fast as possible. Throughout the initial move out of my apartment I was approached numerous times with decisions of why they couldn't move everything and only wanted to target big stuff. Their reasoning was to make the job faster and to save me money. Unfortunately on the day I moved, it rained for about 45 minutes in AZ. During the process of it raining, I was approached and told why they couldn't do much more and my storage unit would not be moved any longer on the same day. Not only this but their truck was almost full and they couldn't complete moving everything from my apartment either. I was offered the opportunity for them to come back and finish moving my storage unit 4 days later at a cost to me to finish the original job. The truck was full and off the movers went to drop off at my house. During offload my furniture was handled extremely rough. My couch cushion were literally thrown into my house on the floor. You could tell the game was how quickly can we offload and get out of here. They finished offload and I settled up with Dan over the phone. My original quote was a range of $345-575. I ended up paying $770 with a 3% credit card surcharge. On top of a customary tip to the 2 movers for a physical job. Now I have to rent a uhaul truck the next day and finish my move out of my apartment and my storage unit on my own. This will end up costing me more money to finish the original job I hired Cor to help me with all along. I've now inspected and found many problems from the move: -Upon moving my belongings my kids bunk beds were disassembled and parts were lost that doesn't allow me to safely stack them together any longer. -My couches are dirty from the mishandling and lack of care with the cushions literally being thrown around and onto the ground. -one of the legs on my entertainment center was broke and now is unstable. -booksheleves missing hardware -boxes stacked on top of each other without care for weight, heavy boxes sitting on lighter boxes smashing my stuff inside. Now back at my apartment I have damaged floors from the movers as well. Job left incomplete and belongings damaged, parts lost, and belongings spread around. Look at all your moving options. I needed to move 3 rooms of furniture (including bulky/heavy items like a king size platform bed that had to be disassembled, a solid wood credenza and a large china closet.) Then there were all the other incidentals like sofas, tables, etc. All had to be piled into my kitchen/family room area while we had carpet work done. My husband and I already have replacement body parts so I was not interested in attempting this ourselves. Cor was recommended by and coordinated with Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning. Three guys showed up on time. Friendly, well mannered, professional and careful, I watched them effortlessly complete the job just as the carpet tech showed up. They constantly asked if placement was okay and/or if I had preferences where other items would go. I would definitely use them again! read more

The coordination between the two companies was great and the movers went above and beyond while replacing the furniture they moved as well as some smaller pieces I had moved out of the way before they arrived. A good friend recommended COR Company for my office move. They did an awesome job! I was concerned because I had several heavy file cabinets and I didn't have time to box everything up. As a business owner, who has time? Anyway, we also had several computer workstations and glass conference tables that were very fragile, but they took extreme care and... to my amazement, were able to hook everything up again for me at the new location! I went into my new office on the following Monday, and was able to sit down and start reading email. I had a really old cubicle system that I had to move. They had a little trouble getting it apart, but that wasn't their fault. In fact, they were the only crew that could figure it out - I guess they've moved and set up a lot of cube systems over the years. Not only were they courteous and professional, but the price I paid was exactly what I was told up front, and it was very reasonable. I highly recommend them for your office move. Dan is completely unprofessional. I requested a service for my office because we were remodeling our suite. We agreed upon a price based on packing up 3 offices and moving the items of 13 offices (which were mainly only banker boxes and all packed). Mind you he was quoting me to move items out of offices, basically around the corner on the same floor. His quote was $1200, which I thought was steep but he said it was because he was moving items out and had to move them back in. Remember, this was only 13 offices and there wasn't any offices they ended up needing to pack. I had a hard deadline for the everything to be out of the offices by 5:00 pm on Friday because our contractors were going to be in to start moving out furniture to recarpet those offices. I was made aware at about 3:30 that Dan's team wasn't going to be at the office until 4:15. Then after I talked to him, he said it was just going to be himself that was going to be there at 4:15. I started freaking out and did half the job myself. I saw the way he called out another customer below, and he'll probably do the same to me, but it was rediculous to be charged so much for a 45 minute job with one guy. Basically he charged me $600 for 45 minutes. I asked him to refund me half since I ended up doing a good protion myself and he told me no because I changed the scope of the job. WHICH BY THE WAY I never recieved a written proposal from him to begin with. Won't be doing work with him anymore. When we moved our staff back to our suite (which was 38 people) the new moving company I went with only charged me $500. read more

Dan and his crew were amazing. We started off with a scheduling conflict that had me a little stressed, but Dan was quick to find a way to make it work which was greatly appreciated. His crew Rick, Dave and Frank were very quick, professional and friendly. We had a great time with them joking and laughing, which speaks volumes, as we all know moving is not "fun". To make the deal even sweeter, they are very reasonably priced compared to other moving companies I've used, and I've moved multiple times. Just had Paul and Hank (tank) move my furniture into my new home which I just had new floors installed. They were great! They put floor protectors on every piece of furniture. They were fast, tidy, friendly and definitely made me smile. They were willing to move around pieces to find best fit. I used COR Movers to move four rooms of furniture when we were converting from carpet to hardwood floors. It was a very big project and Will was especially careful and courteous! We had NO DAMAGE to our furniture or to our house. They treated our possessions like they were their own. If they wanted to place some furniture in a space that was not initially designated, they asked before doing. Will is a very hard-worker and knows what he is doing. We are having Phase 2 (three additional rooms) moved out and then back in this coming week. I will again use COR Movers for this project, and look forward to Will being in charge of the move. Dan, the owner, is very professional and caring. He is flexible with scheduling to meet my needs and to check-in concerning the progress of the installation. I would give 10 stars if I could. These guys were EXCELLENT from start to finish. Dan kept in touch with me before my move, calling to let me know of the time I should be expecting them. Arrived on time on the day scheduled (despite getting lost in our very confusing apartments) and everyone was nice, down to earth and ready to work. Everyone introduced themselves with a hand shake and got straight to business. Not one time did I see anyone standing around. They asked for permission before entering any bedrooms and explained to me what they would be doing to break down certain furniture before doing it. They kept the mood very light, joking between themselves and even with my kids. The hubbs asked them to go out of their way and drop something off elsewhere and Dan did it with no hassle (extra fee was charged but he could have flat out said "no", so it wasn't a problem and I was happy). They took care with everything and even convinced me to not store certain things in storage due to potential heat damage. No complaints or slowing down from them even as this Az weather started to warm. From start to finish they took about 2 1/2 hours to get everything moved from apartment to apartment to storage. VERY AFFORDABLE, in fact out of the 10 companies I contacted, they were the ONLY ones who responded with reasonable rates. We will be contacting them when its time to move into out house in a couple of weeks. Thank you guys for a job well done!! read more

Great service, Mark and Will and Dan (owner) responsive and friendly. Have helped me twice with moving furniture, once when we had the carpets cleaned and stretched and once when we switched around bedroom sets. Found loose bolts in one bed frame and tightened. Will be having them back again as we have another couple furniture moving projects that need to be done. No dings, scratches on new paint, very careful with personal items.
