Lost paradise (I've never tasted anything like this)

We are getting married at the Madison which is right across the street so we thought we'd stop at Coppins for dinner. It was spectacular. The scenery, service and meal was a 10/10. We can't wait to come back. Our waiter was very good also. I've never had a juicer pork chop, and those tots were amazing, the sauce gave the perfect touch.

We stopped in to Coppin's for a happy hour after a late afternoon work meeting in the area. The two spritz's we had were great, and wow the menu is so great we couldn't decide what to get. The charcuterie had SO many different elements, and they all tasted so good together. The bread was amazing, and the potatoes were so good! We had quite the spread and also had to get dessert to finish it off (not pictured). I'd love to come back and 100% recommend Coppin's to anyone!

Pardon my photos, we started eating before I remembered to take them! We had a great brunch at Coppin's this past weekend. The espresso martini was the best I've ever had. The goetta and biscuits and gravy were excellent, and their tots are always a winner. We had excellent service as always. The atmosphere is unique and perfect - it's one of the best decorated restaurants in northern Kentucky and I always love to dine here. The colors and fixtures are well-considered and I'm always delighted to dine here.

Absolutely worth our hour drive for brunch! We arrived a little early for our brunch reservations but were promptly seated in cozy leather chairs in a sunny atrium with a nice view of their outdoor courtyard. Brunch places tend to be packed so we were surprised that the restaurant was only about 25% full at 1:30pm on a Sunday. I hope they usually are more full because it would be a shame if they closed. We ordered cocktails and a cinnamon roll to split for starters. The warm roll topped with pecan halves was plenty to split but so good I could have eaten the whole thing myself! Our cocktails were well-balanced, not too sweet. For our meals, I had a breakfast combo and my husband got a goetta omelette. We both enjoyed our meals...I would say my biscuit was the star of the show, not at all greasy like some tend to be. It took our server a few extra minutes to get to us initially, which was no be deal because we were in no hurry, but she apologized and from there on out kept things flowing. She was friendly and helpful with giving menu suggestions when we asked. She even let me choose a free birthday dessert! We asked for it to go, which she did but not before bringing it out with a lit candle and singing happy birthday to me. Nice touch! I ate the sweet potato tres leches cake the next day and I have to say it was one of the best desserts I have had in a long time! We have already made plans to bring family back to Coppins soon and my husband and I hope to come spend the night at the hotel as well.

Great brunch spot. We stopped in and were taken into an open feeling glass enclosed seating area with very comfortable seats. The cocktail menu was varied and original tasty choices. We had a cinnamon roll "appetizer" that was incredible, highly recommend ordering and sharing one. I had the goetta omelet which was cooked perfectly. I really want to stop back in and try dinner here soon. A very relaxed atmosphere that was trendy looking with great service.

Came here for the first time to celebrate my fiancé's birthday. We really enjoyed the food - the zucchini fritters were absolutely the best part. He loved his scallops, but my steak and frites were fine. The service we received was lovely. Our waitress was very nice and brought us prosecco at the end of the meal for his birthday. We sat in the greenhouse area of the restaurant, which is very beautiful, but it was pretty loud and made it difficult to hear sometimes. Overall a very nice experience and would like to go back.

Cocktails and service is on point! I do a lot of business lunches here and I'm never disappointed. Stopping in for a cocktail is always on point ! You can't go wrong with this spot and the beautiful ambiance.

Excellent dinner! Thank you Emily and team. Everyone was so nice, efficient. Food is fantastic. My server Emily was fun and so spot on with food recs: duck, Brussel sprouts, and pumpkin crème brûlée. Setting is cozy. Love this restaurant and the hotel. Very special!

We went last minute as part of B line trail. We went early and were seated immed. They are in the lobby of a hotel. They have indoor, enclosed patio and outdoor seating and all in comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Prices are a little high for the amount you get, but quality was good. They recommended the meatballs and while they were good it is not a sweet red sauce (if you are Italian you know what I mean) my husband loved it and I was meh. We had the chicken with Brussels sprouts and it was good. You can try to find a spot on the street to park, or the garage but they don't validate parking. You may or may not have to pay for parking; depends on the time you go.

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

From the moment we arrived, the hostesses were warm and accommodating, and the service throughout the meal was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. As someone with gluten allergies, I felt genuinely cared for. The team listened closely and offered recommendations that never felt like a compromise on flavor or creativity. We began with a dirty chai latte, aromatic and comforting, though I personally would have enjoyed a touch more sweetness. The dirty French, customized gluten free, was rich, decadent and deeply satisfying. It felt indulgent in the best way and showcased the kitchen's ability to balance comfort with culinary intention. To go, we ordered the crunchy chicken nuggets, fries and lemon ricotta pancakes. The fries were outstanding, perfectly crisp and addictive. My husband loved the pancakes, light and flavorful with a bright citrus note. The gluten free nuggets were enjoyable, though they did not quite reach the level I expected compared to the rest of the menu. Overall, Sacred Beast offers a dining experience where hospitality and thoughtful cooking meet effortlessly. We got the duck fat fries, brussels sprouts, and buffalo chicken. The duck fat fries came with a delicious garlic aïoli. The brussels sprouts were just perfect. And the buffalo chicken with some of the best I've had in a long time. I had never had cock-a-leekie before, so I tried that too. It was a nice, warm, comfort food. For our entrées, several of us got fish and shrimp. It was delicious and the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce sauces were perfect. The highlighter of the evening for me was my mocktail. I noticed the drink menu had a cucumber elderberry drink, but I do not drink alcohol, so I ask if they would be willing to make something like it as a mocktail. It was genuinely one of the best mock tails I've ever had. It was so good. I asked if the bartender would mind sharing what she did so I could make some version of it at home. She happily obliged and wrote it down for me. Overall, a wonderful experience that will definitely have me recommending Nicholsons to friends and family!

The passion fruit mignonette was the perfect compliment. I kept scooping out tiny spoonfuls and drinking it after we finished the oysters. The Fluke Crudo was fantastic. The combo of flavors and textures was a delight for the palate. The scallops over the miso leek risotto was one of the best scallop dishes we have ever eaten. The scallops were huge and cooked perfectly and there were plenty of pieces of leek in a lovely, smooth risotto. We're not a fan of hijiki, so the chef prepared the risotto without it - Thanks Chef Jose! And you would think chicken schnitzel would be basic, but not this dish. The chicken was so moist, perfectly seasoned, and pan fried in butter. We asked for the sauce on the side because we knew we wouldn't finish the big piece and wanted to heat it up later and still be crispy (which we did). We were amazed that eating the chicken, almond, asparagus, and some sauce in one bite, was SO good. The best two meals we have had in Cincinnati so far in 2026 have been here, and Mita's.
