We stumbled upon this place on a Friday night in Lawrenceburg. A nearby restaurant had a long wait so we stopped in here. Wow! What a beautiful restaurant. We were slightly underdressed but the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We sat at a high top table by the bar upstairs. The cocktails were some of the best we've ever had. The whipped ricotta toast with honey was delicious. We could've eaten another plateful. My husband ordered the salmon which was cooked to perfection. I had the homemade pasta, linguine, it was the perfect blend of lemon and cream. Fantastic! We will be back again for date nights and special occasions. I've been hearing rave reviews about this restaurant for months and was so looking forward to finally going for a date night. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's on the small side and perfect for intimate dinner dates. We ordered the frito misto appetizer which was delicious. Next, we split the wedge salad and rotolo lasagna. Both of those were great as well. Finally, we each ordered a steak. We waited 45+ minutes after our pasta course for our steaks to come out. The server and manager both stopped by several times to tell us our steaks were "almost done" but frankly by the time they arrived, the restaurant had nearly cleared out and we were ready to leave. We did try the steaks and they left much to be desired. They were quite fatty and over done. The manager gave us a comped cheesecake for the delay. In summary, we would probably visit again but we would probably skip on the steaks and opt for a different entree. read more

Stopped in with some family yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice location and decor. We got a bunch of things and all tried them. I started with Caesar salad and it was one of the better ones I've had in a long while. Bread service was good. The vodka rigatoni was by far my favorite. Others got a filet and chicken masala and said they were good. I had chicken parm and very good. Service was great as well. Always there cleaning odd table. Had a great evening out at Giuliettas. Tyler made sure we felt welcome and had plenty of drinks throughout. Our server, Justin, was equally as attentive and gave great suggestions for our dinner. To start, the ambiance and atmosphere of this restaurant are perfect. It is balanced well between moody and lively. The music is fun--not too loud--and you are still able to hear those you are dining with. The service was great! The staff is very attentive, and you can tell they enjoy the work they do. We never felt forgotten or overlooked, which was great! Now, the food... was amazing. All of the dishes we tried were hits. I had the Chicken Parmigiana--WOW! The breaded chicken was cooked to perfection. The pasta is prepared in-house too, which makes a huge difference. All we could say the whole night was, "We will definitely be coming back here!" I took a date there we had a good time but the restaurant experience was not so good. First they charged us like 9$ for water. I ordered chicken parm. The chicken wasn't crispy it was soggy and had no flavor at all very bland. She ordered the special, veal and could not eat it. This was our second visit to Giulietta, and we were excited to treat our nephew and his wife after talking up our first experience, which had been absolute perfection. Unfortunately, this visit didn't quite live up to the first. The one thing that was absolutely perfect was the service. Nicole was delightful--attentive, personable, and spot-on in every way. When I made the reservation, I specifically requested the dining room rather than the balcony. We were seated on the balcony anyway. It was fine, but disappointing since it wasn't what I had requested. The bread service was excellent, and the pasta we shared was delicious. However, all four of our entrées arrived warm rather than hot. I especially remembered the whipped potatoes from our first visit--we added extra butter and it melted right into them. This time, the potatoes were barely warm enough to soften the butter. Another issue was the size of the four-top table. For a restaurant serving multiple dishes and sides meant to be enjoyed together, there simply isn't enough room. On our previous visit, we were seated in a booth and had no problem at all. Overall, it was still a pleasant evening, but one sprinkled with disappointment. At roughly $100 per person, the details matter, and this experience simply didn't meet the standard set by our first visit. Will we return? We need to give that some thought. What we probably won't do again is rave to others about how perfect everything is. After this visit, it feels as though some of the standards that made our first experience so memorable may be slipping a bit. read more

The service was 95% there I would say 100%, but when we asked for a second year they kind of forgot about it so I had to mention it again I get it and happens new restaurants otherwise very friendly knowledgeable about the menu. It is a little pricey me and my boyfriend split a four-course meal we started with a type of bread that came with a honey cheese-based dip that was really good then we shared a wedge salad which was actually pretty big then we shared some type of angel hair pasta with a lemon-based sauce the lemon definitely got you up front in the flavor pallet with a little bit of crunch we added chicken which was also good and we ended the night was the tiramisu overall a great experience our bill was a little over $100 with tip. read more

We had a very positive experience and we've already made reservations for another date night. The building has been freshly updated and I can wait to go back during the Christmas holiday. Dining area was very pleasant along with the background music - it was very busy not overly noisy that we couldn't have a conversation. The food was very good! We ordered bread service along followed by salads, a main and gelato for dessert. Service was great. We were greeted and seated on time by a very nice hostess and promptly introduced to our server, Emma--she was awesome. Emma expertly explained the menu and detailed how everything was made from scratch daily. Reader's digest version: Tables to small. Very loud. And food didn't make up for the lack of comfort/ambiance. At over $170 including tip I didn't fine many positives. Read on for the details of our visit. My wife has a complicated diet, so she reached out to Giuliettas via email to make sure she could even order anything off of their menu. We received an email back assuring her that they could work with us. They said to ask for the manager and let them know when we were coming. I made a reservation and noted my wife's email and food sensitivities. We arrived and were seated at a table arms length from other guest. We mentioned to the server that we had emailed and been told to ask for the manager. She said she knew nothing about it and went away to get more information. She came back and made a valiant effort to assist my wife with picking out a dish. We never had anyone come to our table and acknowledge they received our email or reservation "special" request. They did know we were celebrating birthdays, but that wasn't the important part of the reservation. We started with the bread course since italian food and bread go hand in hand. The bread was good and the herb, oil and vinegar was exactly how an italian restaurant should serve it. Just rarely have I had to purchase the bread as a separate "course". We also both had a glass of wine, again it's an Italian fine dining establishment. My wife settled on the Branzino (fish) with a side of the roasted mushrooms. She was happy with her meal, but it took some back and forth with the chef to make sure it was within her dietary restrictions. The whole reason we reached out ahead of time, was so we could enjoy a nice stress free meal out. This could have been avoided if the restaurant would have kept their promise to have a manager or someone be aware we were dining with them. I ordered the lasagna rotolo. The bolognese sauce lacked the amount of meat I was expecting and was more like noodles in tomato sauce. And why I said the tables were too small is we could not keep our bread, because there was no room on the table for our entree plates and the bread plates and our water and wine glasses. It was a challenge to take a drink of wine and get it back on the table. I felt like I was playing 3D chess. During our visit the restaurant was busy, but also so loud it was difficult to carry on a conversation without yelling. Which everyone was doing, so conversations were shared with everyone seated around you. Not what I call intimate or romantic. The restaurant is set in an old building that has been nicely restored. But the seating arrangements don't provide any sense of privacy. I felt like I was in a Cheesecake factory. And the hard surfaces and high ceiling only amplify the sound. I really doubt that we will return. For the price we will drive to Cincinnati where fine dining is available. read more

Our waiter was extremely nice. Braxton, I believe, was his name. My husband got the lasagna which he really enjoyed. Their selection is not super extensive. I would've loved just spaghetti and meatballs, but that's not on the menu. This is more upscale and I struggle with some of this type of Italian food. I ended up having the lemon pasta with chicken. The chicken was very good however the lemon pasta was rather salty. Bread is NOT complimentary. Appetizers are different. Not my cup of tea. It was very crowded and quite noisy. We were right by the kitchen so that was kind of a letdown. We had a good time (drove over an hour to meet friends) but doubt we come back. I'm sure it's a hit with the locals! read more

Wonderful ambiance and our server Cassidy was so friendly and attentive. We started off with the bread and whipped burrata with chili honey. It sounds odd but it was deliciously creamy. The bread was sliced, lightly toasted with olive oil on top. The lasagna was wonderful. It's not served in the traditional slab, but in three rolls. It was served on a plate of marinara sauce and dabs of creamy ricotta. I highly recommend. My guests ordered the chicken parm, spicy rigatoni, salmon and lemon pasta with shrimp. They enjoyed their entrees as well. For dessert we tried the tiramisu and the vanilla gelato. The tiramisu was very good. The gelato was simply average and overpriced. I deducted a star for two reasons: they were out of the lamb shank, and I was so looking forward to ordering it. Plus, I think it's a little tacky to charge for just bread. You're already paying quite a bit for meals, and bread should be included. read more

Really great setting, we love that more is coming to Lawrenceburg as residents. The food was delicious! My least favorite part of the experience was trying to decide what to get, it all just sounded so good! The service was excellent. Some of the best carpachio, I've ever eaten. The homemade pasta noodles are delectable, whipped riccatta with honey delicious. Decent wine selection. Arrancini rice balls. ZUPPA DE PESCE wonderful flavor but only shrimp and calamari , no octopus or scungili , which would put it over the top. This is a fine, delicious restaurant with helpful kowlagble staff (with a great southern accent on the Italian language that was priceless and awsome for this guy from NY) The food was delicate and perfectly cooked, nice spin on the "Americanized Northern Italian" cuisine. I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience overall. To start, I ordered a steak medium rare, but it came out closer to medium or even medium well. That was frustrating, especially considering the price point they clearly position themselves as a higher-end place, so I expected better accuracy in preparation. What made it more off-putting was that when I raised the issue, the chef sent the steak back out and insisted the original cook was correct, they did however end up preparing another steak that was the wrong cut but the correct temperature. Service was another major letdown. Over the course of about two hours, I was only able to get two drinks, which speaks to how inattentive the server was. There were long stretches where we didn't see them at all, and it was difficult to get their attention when we needed something. It really took away from what should have been a relaxing dining experience. On top of that, the prices were quite high across the board. I don't mind paying more for a great meal and attentive service, but neither of those expectations were met here. Overall, between the incorrectly cooked food, slow and inattentive service, and high prices, I left feeling pretty disappointed. I hope they can improve, but based on this visit, I wouldn't be in a rush to return. read more

This was an amazing experience! Wyatt did a great job at the bar while we waited for a table for a few minutes. He shared all the background of the restaurant all while making us delightful drinks! Braxton convinced us to try the linguine al Limone with shrimp it was amazing! The chili flakes added a delightful pop which was smoothed out by the ricotta on the top.
