My boyfriend decided to go here for lunch a little after 4:00 so late lunch I love the ambience the decorations all the different colors it was a little bright inside though but I wasn't freezing so that was nice. The service was great they really were not packed at all so we were seated right away our waiter checked in on us plenty and was very nice. For the food me and my boyfriend got something similar mine just had rice queso and steak and I got a side of the corn on the cob he got pretty much the same thing but his had chicken and shrimp and we obviously had chips and salsa I got a fanta to drink which I haven't had in a while he had their specialty beer now my food was okay It was kind of bland the steak was good maybe if I had them add peppers or something but it was still good reading it too so that counts I was super excited for my Mexican corn on the cob I haven't tried it at an actual restaurant yet just off of food truck at a festival in the past and I said Mayo instead of sour cream and it had cottage cheese I think it said and a type of spice and I'm not sure if maybe they used miracle whip and I'm just not used to the tinginess or what but it was super sour like overwhelming for. My taste buds which was odd normally when I get it it's Mayo with a splash of lime cottage cheese or Parmesan cheese and chili pepper or paprika when I got home I did take the rest of the corn off the cob and mix it in with my leftovers It was tolerable them but overall I would say it was an okay experience for the food read more

Came here for lunch. The restaurant was large, with a bar and several tables on the right side, and several tables/ booths on the left. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The entire restaurant/ booths were beautifully decorated with hand painted murals that the photos I took don't do justice. We were served with fresh chips and two salsas: mild and spicy: yum! They have an extensive menu, including lunch specials, but we ordered from the regular menu. My husband ordered chicken mole which was a very large piece of chicken and delicious. It was served with rice. I ordered fish tacos Veracruz style: 3 tacos served in a flour tortilla with freshly prepared tilapia, and a large side of rice and salad ( lettuce and tomatoes). The tacos were light, but I preferred my husband's entree. Lunch before tip was $32, and I had plenty of leftovers which made for my breakfast this morning. read more

The portions of food were huge and the service was extremely prompt and pleasant. When I say huge, I mean from the food to the beverages, the portions were massive. I found my beer to be the size of four beers. Our food was delicious served hot, and very pleasantly. It tasted just as an authentic Mexican Mexican restaurant should. Lots of televisions to watch games. Only (and a very minor suggestion) change the music selection from the cha cha slide. We shall be back! read more

First time visit today for lunch and I was shocked at the size of the lunch portion! All for $13 I ordered the shrimp fajita and my friend ordered the flauta. The refried beans and rice came in generous servings along with pico, lettuce, guac, and sour cream. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. I will definitely return! read more

Diner's beware - bait & switch on coupons sent out. We received coupons in the mail for this new establishment. The coupon we chose was buy 1 combo meal get 1 free with purchase of 2 drinks. We ordered 2 margaritas and 2 combo meals. When I received our bill I gave our server the coupon, he explained it had to be 2 soft drinks ordered. No where did it differentiate soft drink.. The food was burnt. Tortillas were crispy and black from being overcooked. Beef and chicken were dry from being overcooked. The waitress did not speak English. Very difficult to order. All reviews are subjective, I know, so we may have just had an unusually bad experience here. First, the good. The place was clean (bathrooms too). Hostess was polite. That's where the good ends. I ordered the chimichangas and my wife ordered the chicken tacos. She also ordered cilantro and lime on the side. The food did not hit the table for about 25 minutes and, being 3 pm, the place only had a few customers. The cilantro had been put on the tacos and was pretty sparse. No limes arrived. We asked for more cilantro and a lime wedge and were informed it'd be an extra $0.99. Ok.... Our server rarely showed up at the table after taking our order so we had to call different people on 3 occasions to get missing items. Our server sat in the entryway on her phone. The food was very mediocre. We compare any Mexican food to Taqueria Mercado in Fairfield, OH so that's an awfully high bar to compare to. My wife's tacos were not good tasting. The refried beans were very salty, rice was your average restaurant rice. Nothing made any of this food stand out. My chimichangas were OK. Between the lack of service, food not prepared as ordered, the inordinate wait time for the food, and the silliness of charging for cilantro when it wasn't given to us as requested, this place falls into the category of "meh." We won't be back. Hopefully they can iron out these issues as they go. The bill for the two meals and one iced tea was $31. read more

Just ate there for the first time with my wife for lunch. There was only a few people there. The food came out quick and it was great. Server was nice, but didn't see her after we ordered. I stopped in here around noon yesterday. $9 for Carnitas tacos. Huge delicious chunks of pork that weren't overly seasoned. Had a Mexican home taste that reminded me of El Paso, Texas. i ordered the Quesadilla Fajita and was surprised that it did not come with rice. The other local Mexican restaurants (5 within a 12 mile radius) always serve rice with this dish. I ordered a side of rice, was charged $3 for it but never received it. The free mild salsa had no taste at all. Despite only a few tables occupied, it took almost 30 minutes for our party of 4 to be served. They only served us 3 of the 4 entrees. The other entree took 10 additional minutes for some unknown reason. The carnitas tacos were supposed to be served with cilantro and onion; it was not, and my guest had to request it. He never did receive the tomatillo sauce that was supposed to come with it. The portion size was good, but the food was simply mediocre. The entrees arrived to the table lukewarm. The peppers were so crispy that they were practically raw. Quesadilla Fajitas are supposed to be crispy on the outside, mine was not. We spent $80 on 4 mediocre entrees. I'd rather have eaten Taco Bell. Lastly, the service was abysmal. Our server did not check back with us and we had to try to find him to request refills. I had high hopes for this restaurant but based on everything I mentioned, I will not return. read more
