Understand the COVID-19 situation, but every time we go there for takeout or dine in, there's always some problems. Especially for takeout, cashier works in the Bar at the same time. My husband had to wait for at least 15 min. before even taking his order. Then when he got home, order was wrong. Most recently, we had placed an order ahead for a pick up. Waited for some time and got the food, but the cashier gave us a wrong bill and charged it to our credit card before charging to make sure it was the correct bill. We were in town for a concert in Wahalla the following day and it was a Sunday night and the restaurants we hoped to go to were closed. So Copper River seemed our best option. Despite a bad first impression based on outdated and not so clean looking menus the food was very good. So pleased! So many things to choose from which always makes me a little leary. It took me forever to decide what to order because I was hungry. We ordered a make your own pizza and it was perfect. Later we shared a seafood plate of flounder and shrimp and was very pleased with that too. We shared a salad too which I thought was yummy. Unfortunately it was not a great over all experience. The server seemed so indifferent and maybe angry. After a glass of so so chardnarry, I switched to a beer and it over flowed all iver the table and I lost over half of it. After we cleaned up the mess our waitress replaced it. My husbands second beer did the same thing but only lost about 1/3. She never offered to replace his. When mine overflowed she never apologized but did tell me I poured my beer in my glass too fast, which I didn't. The other issue is I felt misled about what was included with the seafood entree. We ordered the fish and salad to go with it. When she asked what side item we wanted I thought I that meant it was included so we finally settled on was the Broccolini but what was on our plate was brocolli instead. I was perturbed to see we were charged for the salad. It seems you get one or the other not both salad and a side dish. Sam Adams winter lager on draft was $3 and other regular beers are $2 Been goin here every time I'm in town for family so over the years I never had a bad experience with their food. Last time we both ordered the potato cheese soup and house salad combo. Both are amazing and filling. Make sure u order a house salad with your meal. Salad is loaded with everything. There was a large group that came in around the same time, so I understand our food taking awhile, but our waitress left us with empty water glasses for a long time. Large portions, decent prices and good food. Copper River Grill looks like a chain from the outside but I don't think it actually is one. I had the chicken fettuccine and my wife had the salmon. The meal tasted good but the food was not hot, this put me off a bit but I'd still go back. Like Dawn said, decor is a complete miss. There was no theme per wall when I was there (2 days ago), just white wall. The owner should really do something about that, the place has real potential. read more

Four of us, prime rib sandwich, two burgers and baked potato soup and salad. Food was good and the prices weren't bad. We had great service the first time from Ms Julia, the second time we got a different server and the service was just so-so. The BBQ Chicken nachos are delicious. Our server was awesome. I only gave four stars because, though my meal came out hotter than any meal I have ever ordered anywhere, the Kodiak chicken was over cooked. It had good flavor, but it was extremely tough and very dried out. Other than that our meals were good and I would go back. read more

Very loud atmosphere, this is a brother of JPeters which has basically the same menu. The honey buttered rolls are very good, salad is as well. However all places are extremely noisy, baked potato standing out on a cart in open air by the bathrooms. Staff and wait service has a chip on their shoulders. The menu does not vary much. Ordered red prime rib in anderson. 99% was tough grizzle and fat. Saw 3 customers during our dining disappointing visits due to lack of restaurant available in the area. It will be a long time to come before we go back to Copper River in Seneca again. we went in as a family of four and had to sit at the bar where everybody was picking up their online good orders. I had my food sitting there next to me and everybody was coming up behind me breathing on my food ... I could not even eat it I was so disgusted. We paid for it and left out of there as soon as we could and I trashed it as soon as I got home.. So if you go to Copper River of Seneca do not allow them to let you sit at the bar in the corner ...Because that's where they have their own line pickups at and people will come behind you and look at your food talk to you about your food and breathe on your food. read more

We stopped here for lunch yesterday. The place was nearly empty. We asked for a booth and were told none were available. There were seven empty booths. We were seated between to parties of six having birthday parties. We thought maybe they did not have enough wait staff to handle the room. I counted at least six servers. A little under one per occupied table. Our server came by eventually and took our drink order. She seemed to be in a bad mood. The drinks were delivered and the server disappeared. About ten minutes later arrived to take our order. The food arrived and the server disappeared again. We could see our server in a conversation with others. The food was good and at the proper temperature. Had to flag down the server to get refills on drinks. Still six empty booths. Maybe I am petty, but we actually like talk over lunch. We have been coming here for years and always found the food good. Service is usually fair. At least better tan this trip. read more

I have gone here almost 5 times and each time I get the tuna sandwich. The only way to eat this burger is medium rare or rare depending on how you like it. The sauce they put on the side make the whole meal better. If you don't feel like getting a drink, getting a cherry coke pairs very well with it as well (grenadine and coke not actual cherry coke). Salads came on time and were very good. Food was on time and very well prepared. Would give 5th star if had either call ahead seating or adequate seating for waiting. First we walk in and are immediately greeted we are shown our table and sat down. The pizza was hot and definitely made from scratch wile the fish my buddy ordered was made to his specific standards but that's not even the best part the customer service is top notch, some of the best I've seen in a while! No at this point we ask for the bill and get informed Someone paid for our meal so not only does this place have amazing service, staff, and food it has amazing customers! Took my mom out for what was supposed to be a nice dinner... Upon arriving noticed the place was pretty slow, so we asked for a booth, they refused to seat us at a booth even though we saw like 10 booths open. I get that servers have different sections, but If we request a booth give us a gd booth. It was cold out so we both were in the mood for hot soup... which came out warm, but THICK as hell, not a good thick, more like soup that had been sitting on a warmer all week long. Not the biggest fail though, we went on to our main course, I ordered what I think might be the most expensive menu item, a $26 steak and they sent me out a big white plate with a tiny little steak on it and nothing more... the photo below is exactly how it was brought out. It was the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever seen... the waitress seemed embarrassed and ran to the back to get a loaded baked potato to help compensate for whatever went wrong in the back, brought out a cold potatoe with completely unmelted butter and cheese... the icing on the cake was that the steak was absolutely uncooked to boot! I just visited this restaurant while traveling thru town. My husband and I each had the ribeye steak (cooked perfectly). The salads were fresh and crisp. My Cesar was one of the best I ever had. His house salad was piled high with bacon, ham and egg, with a tasty Italian dressing. The croissants (served with the salad) were hot and drizzled with a sweet glaze. I had loaded mashed potatoes which was fresh with cheese (cheddar and parmesan), bacon and ham. His baked potato was fluffy and light and fully loaded. Someone took great pride in the construction of the wood work and stone fireplace. Our waiter Jim was friendly, quick, efficient, and took care of all of our request without hovering. All in all, I would highly recommend Copper River Grill and will be back next time we are in town. read more
