Great ambiance. Love the outdoor seating with a real fire as the centerpiece. Great for family dinners as well as date nights. Friendly and attentive staff. My son and his friends loved their food- fries, pasta, burgers and spinach dip. My husband is vegan. Fortunately edamame was on the menu. My daughter and I had ahi- an ahi roll and ahi tacos. The ahi in South Carolina is different than the ahi in Hawaii. Nontheless, we enjoyed ourselves and Sole Sushi Bar and grill.

Wow! Easily one of the best gluten free meals I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was good manners and hospitality were definitely missing. It's very busy and we waited an hour on Monday night for a table for 4.

We had an amazing experience at Sole Sushi! Maddy was great and was able to help us with a reservation when there were some cancellations. She was super helpful! It was our family of four to celebrate Valentine's together with our Clemson student and our waitress was Molly. She was fantastic and helped my daughter remember a particular appetizer that she had in the past. I asked Molly for a special Valentine's cocktail and she suggested the Cherry Lemon Drop- it was superb. Molly was attentive and gave us great service all night. We had Tempura Shrimp, The egg rolls that had mashed potatoes inside, about 6 sushi rolls, the Asian Chicken tacos and some awesome desserts- Chocolate mousse and Cheesecake. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back and maybe even score one of the super cool outside tables with a tabletop fire :-). Thank you for such a special dinner on Valentine's Day with my family!!

We come a lot but we tried a different day and new stuff.... Valentine's Day reservation for 8pm, 2 people.. we were sat right away. Got the gyoza appetizer, side salad, tiger stripe sushi roll and fireside roll.. and a proverb Merlot glass of wine. Everything was amazing. Service was excellent. Atmosphere darkish and lightly noisy. We always come back!!

The sushi reminds me of heated up grocery store sushi. It's small and not satisfying ‍ the drinks are okay I guess. Pricy though.

Enjoyed the outdoor seating but the food was just ok. Shrimp tacos were just meh. Spouse's burger was too messy. Service was fine.

I can't wait to come back, nothing at all was bad. My daughter got a chicken finger plate it was delicious as well as my burger and my son's grilled cheese plate. I would also like to mention that they take in and give out food for the homeless/those struggling without question and I want to support businesses like this no matter what. AND they have delicious food it's a no brainer. Eat here, you won't regret it.

The employee at the window couldn't have been nicer, very friendly, helpful, and even offered me a menu to keep for future visits. Truly excellent customer service. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (lettuce and tomato only (no premium topping options available), along with onion rings and coleslaw. The total came to $13.08 before tip, which is a great price and initially set expectations fairly high. The wait time was reasonable, but when I received the bag it felt surprisingly light. Once home, the portion sizes were underwhelming. The onion rings were moderate, the coleslaw was about an ice-cream-scoop portion, and the grilled chicken sandwich consisted of a very small piece of chicken with one slice of lettuce and a thin slice of tomato on a plain white bun. For context, I weighed the chicken portion and it came in at 2.68 ounces, which is noticeably smaller than expected for a sandwich. Food quality was basic. The coleslaw appeared pre-packaged and was quite watery, and the onion rings seemed mass-produced rather than freshly battered. The chicken itself could have used more seasoning and a more substantial portion. Even a slightly upgraded bun would have helped. I'm giving this two stars instead of three because while the service was outstanding and the pricing is attractive, this is a restaurant first and foremost, and the food quality and portions didn't meet expectations. I'm not trying to bash ownership; a small increase in price to allow for better ingredients and slightly larger portions could make a big difference.

Two sandwiches, two sides, and absolutely no regrets!…read more We stopped at Mayberry's for lunch, and after studying the menu, we found ourselves with a dilemma. Too many delicious-sounding sandwiches and only two people to eat them. Naturally, we did the only sensible thing. We ordered two different sandwiches and split them. Marriage is all about compromise, especially when sandwiches are involved. We chose the Sweet Apple Bacon sandwich with pork and the Meatloaf Grinder. First up, the Sweet Apple Bacon. Granny Smith apples, sweet onion jam, applewood bacon, shaved pork, and mozzarella on a Portuguese roll. That's quite a combination of flavors, and somehow it all works beautifully together! Sweet, savory, and absolutely delicious. Then came the Meatloaf Grinder. Meatloaf with melted white American cheese on ciabatta bread. Simple, hearty comfort food in sandwich form. And every bit as delicious as the first sandwich! Here's the problem with splitting two equally good sandwiches. Nobody gets to claim they ordered the better one. We called it a tie. Now, let's talk about the sides. I ordered the rosemary potato salad, and OH MY GOODNESS. It was SO good! I love a good potato salad, and the rosemary gives this one a wonderful twist. I could happily order a bowl of it and call it lunch. The other side was pasta salad, which I naturally had to sample. Strictly for quality-control purposes, of course. It had kidney beans in it, which I absolutely loved! Such a nice addition, and something you don't always find in pasta salad. Another winner! The restaurant itself is adorable, with charming vintage decor and a nice selection of local products. They even sell their own sauces, which we somehow managed to walk out without purchasing. A decision we regretted almost immediately. Apparently, we'll need to return to correct that oversight. Purely for research purposes, naturally. The employees were all friendly and attentive, and the entire experience was delightful. Great food, welcoming people, and a restaurant with some real personality. Mayberry's has a menu full of interesting sandwiches, and I fully intend to work my way through it. Will we be back? Absolutely! Next time, we're buying the sauce. And probably ordering two more sandwiches to split, because apparently that's how we roll now. Five stars! Delicious food, wonderful sides, and definitely worth a visit!
