This was a great find in Seneca! We went in for a cold beer and found they a wide assortment on tap. We loved that they let us have samples before ordering full sized beers. There is a counter where you ordered the beer and the line moves really quickly. I sampled the Tropical Contagion which was a key lime flavored pilsner with a hint of toasted coconut. It was yummy! The draft beers came in 3 sizes: 6 oz., 16 oz., and 32 oz. Growlers-to-go. I chose the 16 oz., which was priced reasonably at $7.50. There were 5 of us in our group and we had talked about sitting outside on the patio; but there was live music playing and we luckily scored a big table in the main room. The tunes were great and we made several requests. We also noticed the shelf of games and we played a few rounds of the ring/hook game. Keowee Brewing Company has all kinds of beers: iPAs, pilsners, lagers, stouts....even seltzers. It's definitely a fun place to gather with friends! read more

We really enjoyed our dinner at Keowee Brewing. You order at the counter and get your onsite brewed beer or wine slushy (so delicious) right away. The inside is nice but the outside patio is awesome. They have life music Friday and Saturday evening. We had the Tex Mex bowl and the Keowee smash burger. Both were delicious, and the fries were wonderful. Food took a good while to come but it was totally worth it. We will add this place to our date night rotation. read more

Popular spot but we both found the food overly salted. We ordered the smash burgers with fries. The fries were coated with salt and they were cold by the time we received them. The burgers were also VERY salty. One of the women at the counter was very brusque. We sat outside with lots of children running free so if that is your vibe this is the place for you. Sort of reminded me of being at a McDonalds indoor playground. You have to pick up your own condiments, napkins etc and ask for to go boxes at the counter.... again very McDonalds type setting here but you are expected to tip.There was no music not even on speaker system, it was Friday evening and really sort of boring with mehhhhh food. Enjoyed the beer just as the conversation with the locals and the owner about a month ago. Flat bread pizza was super good hit the spot while gulping down beers. Bought a hat and post card for my family. Best brewery by far in the area if you're interested in a great beer. read more

The Stout is very good, and the pimento cheese dip as well. Very friendly, nice atmosphere.

This brewery is nestled in a small downtown area, but draws a large crowd. This brewery is two stories, with a huge outdoor patio. The patio is dog friendly and occasionally you'll catch a live band outside. They have beer, wine, and wine slushies to choose from. During my recent visit I got the good friends kolsch. Not only do they have drinks, they also offer several food options that you order at the counter and they bring to your table. The food is just average, but it's nice to have! read more

We recently moved to Seneca and have driven by KBC a bunch of times and have said "note to self, check this place out". Yesterday, on a gray chilly Sunday afternoon we did just that. So glad we did! We are 3; husband and myself and our 37 year old son who lives with us once again! (We love having him around). My husband and I had full bellies when we arrived so the plan was that our son would get food and we would get something to drink. Well, I saw on the menu that they are using TALLOW to fry their potatoes in! What!?! We had to order some! They were OUTSTANDING! Son was very happy with his burger and fries. We visited Keowee Brewery last night with a group of 8 adults and 5 kids, excited to try a new spot. Unfortunately, from the very start, the experience was incredibly unwelcoming. We sat inside for a few minutes but decided the kids would have more fun with the open and Empty space on the back patio. One of the dads walked the kids out there to give them some room to play. The kids weren't being loud or disruptive at all, just being kids and walking around. While we were at the bar ordering drinks, the bartender said, "the kids can't be alone back there." We let him know a parent was literally with them and we were all going to join them when we got our drinks, but instead of acknowledging that, he watched the security cameras and replied, "We're trying to run a restaurant here." Again, the kids were NOT being bad, not screaming, and not being disruptive. His tone and attitude were shockingly rude. We were stunned. Not once were we spoken to with kindness, understanding, or basic hospitality from this bartender. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. We left after only 20 minutes and I'm so glad because upon leaving, I noticed the food looked bad as well. Extremely disappointed all around. Do better, bartender in the corduroy jacket. read more

Super fun atmosphere where you order at the counter and seat yourself. It is a great spot to get a local beer and some yummy meals. We were super impressed with how tasty the food was. It was certainly bustling here on Memorial Day! Loved their flight options and the glasses are certainly larger if not twice the size of a typical brewery flight glass. They also have frozen options which I tried. They are tart! Food smelled and looked amazing however we didn't try any. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for a beer (or two) and decided to order food. The smash burger came out timely. It may have been the best burger I have had in 2025. The burger was properly smashed, caramelized and smothered with beer cheese. I split it with my spouse and we both agreed. Muy Bueno. The beer, a Hazy and a Porter, were both fresh and delicious. This was a nice place to chat with friends and family. While I didn't get any food I chatted with some people who got a salad and BBQ sandwich and had high praise! You order at the counter and they bring you your food. I had the raspberry wheat which was ok. My bf had an IPA which he said was very good. We have been to dozens of breweries and the atmosphere here was just ok. Not a ton of dining inside. There is a large area with tables out back with sun shades but it was still hot and , again, lacked atmosphere. The burgers were definitely 5 stars which bumped up the rating. read more

Super atmosphere in an old brick building with wooden rafters. Nice open feeling with rustic home made wooden tables. A good selection of beers made here and some ciders that are nice, but made elsewhere thanks to arcane laws that make it hard to brew cider legally. Good place to bring some friends and have a brew. There is a food truck outside with really good looking plates coming in the door. If we were hungry we would order something. read more

I have to admit that this place wasn't on the list of dinner options, but a snafu with the original option turned out to be a coup. We were two of just a few folks there, which is always a bit scary, until I remembered that it was a Thursday at 4:00 and most of the rest of the world was working, so yeah. We bellied up to the bar and tried their 'slushies', which didn't really do it for either one of us. Luckily, the beer itself was a different story, and both the Peaches and Fireworks and My Blood Runs Orange were winners. We took our drinks out to the dog-friendly patio and enjoyed the nice weather, and scenery of our new English Bulldog friend Herschel. Once the kitchen opened, I opted for a Pauly P sandwich and my husband got a Godfather. Both were very good, and so sizeable, that I was able to bring half of mine back to our room fridge to have with eggs a few days later for breakfast. Score extra points for price performance. This is a cute little place that not only allows, but encourages dog patrons, so I gotta give them kudos for that. Dogs are my favorite people, and places that love dogs are my favorite places. read more

Dropped by a couple times. Really good in-house brews and a great "back yard" seating area. It features its own limited selection taps and they are more than happy to cut on a propane space heater to keep a nippy night at bay. One the best features is a range of smaller pours, when you feel like just trying a couple styles without have to down a pint each time. Check 'em out. read more
