Zilla, once again Employee of the Month.

Beer was pretty good. Zilla was very helpful. The place is probably the most unique brewery I have been to. It is a great repurposing of a historic site.

Awesome spot! Will be back!!! Bartender was so friendly and the place is so cool, highly highly recommended. REALLY Great beer too.

The Silos from the outside.. they have several independently operated businesses besides the actual brewery.

Very nice place to socialize with friends with several different food options and an ice cream/doughnut shop (doesn't belong to the silos) around the corner. We came here on an early Saturday afternoon so parking was still OK but I can only imagine how busy it gets on a Friday night when they have live music. We got something to eat and drink from Indigo Kitchen and it was very good. Maybe a little overpriced, but the whole vibe of this place with a lot of tables and benches in the shade can't be beat. There's something for everybody I would say. I wasn't too impressed of the bathrooms that both gender share the sinks. There's a mirror hanging on the wall when you walk out of the women's bathroom but if you would really want to see what's going on in your face with good light and a mirror where you can maybe refresh your lip gloss or anything you will not have the opportunity for this. I find that a little odd. We also checked out the actual brewery, and that looked very nice too, but we only walked through without ordering anything.

This was our second time visiting the Silos. We brought along our two friends and their two children. We sat inside Silos Brewing to eat. Silos Brewing offers a wide selection of their own brewed beer, and it's all refreshingly good. Their service is always on point and customer-focused. Inside Silos Brewing, I got a steampunk vibe, which I really liked. Outside, there's a large grass area for people to enjoy the shows. Tonight, they had a live band playing. There's plenty of seating all around and ample room for kids to run around and play as well. Everything was clean, from the different food venues to the bathrooms.

Solid local brewery. Tried their porter and one of their IPAs. Both were quite tasty. Plenty of indoor and outside seating. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance for those late night munchies.

There is a large outdoor seating area with plenty of TVs for all the sports needs! The beers with Yee-Haw are always a great selection with something for everyone. If beers are not your taste they also have additional wines and mixed drinks. I tried a Bloody Mary with a moonshine pickle and it hit the spot but was definitely spicy (just how I prefer). The food was good but you don't come here for the food. We started with buffalo chicken dip which is a classic yum. The loaded chicken fries hit my craving and the chicken was juicy and delicious. The 864 was a THICK sandwich and flavorful with the perfect outside crisp/crunch with juicy moist meat internally. No complaints at all. We will be back!

The inside of the brewery was nice as well, although it didn't have as much seating as most of the other comparable breweries that I've been to. They did have one drink that I really liked, which was a Gatorade-flavored seltzer, which tasted great and canceled out the taste of alcohol excellently. On the other hand, I was slightly disappointed at their selection of beers, as they didn't have a particularly strong selection of IPAs, and the IPA that I did get was nothing special. Overall, I'd rate Yee-Haw as being a slightly above-average brewery, which was "good," but lacked anything that really blew me in comparison to the many other breweries that I've patronized.

Complained about his fries when he had about 3 left on the plate. Still given more fries. Appeared to backfire because he clearly wanted something free so he got one of the people with him to also complain. Apparently the man has never had anything besides Morton's iodized salt in his life. Staff was appropriately apologetic but ol Paul clearly wanted the senior complainer discount so took to yelp while sitting next to me one barstool over. Watched him type it over his shoulder. Meanwhile, my wife and I had 2 of the best cocktails we have ever had and a fantastic meal with bar staff that was attentive and super polite. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to anywhere.

I started with a Straffe Hendrik Quad, which was chefs kiss. It was a yummy treat to start the meal off with and be transported into being in Belgium. Not pictured was the charcuterie board and Brie appetizers that were all split and devoured. What was documented was the roasted duck breast with potatoes and asparagus. The duck was roasted perfectly with the skin, crispy for the texture and seasoned divinely. Yall the potatoes were crispy on the outside, well fluffy like little clouds inside, and had a punch of flavor. The asparagus was rich with a butter and lemon note. If a plate could sing! Zero notes. 10/10. My only draw back was I needed a pillow after the meal. Stuffed was I.

The nautical theme and decor throughout the space was a great touch--anchors, ropes, and deep-sea tones gave it a quirky, seafaring charm that made the experience feel more curated and intentional. There were a few groups hanging out when we arrived, and while it wasn't packed, there was only one bartender working, so we waited about five minutes to be helped--not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. We each ordered a flight, and here's what I tried: Sic'em Sour - sour ale with peach and cherry Italian ice Sour Blueberry Lime - sour ale with blueberry and lime Chonk: Banana Split - sour ale with banana, strawberry, chocolate, and lactose Strawberry Shortshake - milkshake IPA with strawberry and vanilla And then, on a whim, I also grabbed a pour of: Maple Banger - imperial stout infused with maple syrup and toasted maple wood I finished them all, but a few truly left an impression. The Chonk was indulgent and playful--like drinking dessert--with that banana split profile hitting every note just right. The Sic'em Sour was a fruity explosion, sharp and refreshing, like someone blended summer and poured it in a glass. And just when I thought I was done, the Maple Banger hit me like a warm hug from a Canadian lumberjack. Rich, velvety, and layered with real maple goodness--I could've had endless glasses of that one. Hands down a personal favorite. Two flights and a couple of cans came to around $30, which felt totally fair for the experience and the quality. Overall, The Whale is a fun, flavorful stop for beer lovers, especially if you enjoy exploring different styles. Not every brew was a hit, but the vibe was awesome, the décor was unique, and a few of those beers? Truly memorable. I'd definitely stop by again next time I'm in Greenville.
