The beer is great. They don't rotate taps all the time so you can go there and get the beer you may like. They cover the range of beer styles and even a cpl good seltzers. The atmosphere is great and they have a big Star Wars influence here. A dog friendly place with a BBQ place right next door. With a visit if you enjoy a good craft beer! read more

They have lots of different styles of beer, several of them award winning, so you can find something for everyone. The service is always excellent and they do a great job explaining the aromas and palates of the beer styles. They don't have any food, but a couple of restaurants are in the same parking lot if you get hungry. Always on my list when visiting Greenville! read more

I simply cannot recommend Liability enough! We were lucky enough to be passing through and stopped by here. It's nestled right downtown. We had found it online and wanted to pay a visit, and boy am I glad we did! They have an awesome place there with very nice seating outside and a bar that opens from inside. First thing when we walk in the door, we are greeted by Tom, the best boy ever, who is the owners doggie. He's the sweetest thing and will give you all the butt wiggles that you need. But be sure to give him a treat or two. He will show you where they are. The beer here was great, lots of options to choose from for everyone! Flights are served in a cool metal lunch box that has sweet stickers on it. Speaking of stickers, they have some of the most bad a$$ merch I've ever seen. I mean where else will you find a brewery shirt with a storm trooper rocking a boom box on his shoulder??? Stickers are also as cool! Check them out, you won't be disappointed! Great service - Phil was super knowledgeable and helpful with deciding which beer I wanted. All of their beers have an enzyme that makes them gluten friendly. Love the outdoor area. Inside can be a bit loud if it's busy. Lots of drink options. Definitely worth a stop. read more

My family and I took the drive here yesterday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They have plenty of space inside and outside. They offer a hydration area and family friendly restrooms. They have a nice variety of beers on draft from stouts to IPAs to Sours. We loved the beer sampler in the cute lunch box and we stayed to have a few. We happened to be visiting Greenville on Liability's anniversary so the place was packed. The bartenders were friendly and working as fast as they could and I eventually ordered a How do you spell Bougee? with pineapple and mango. We managed to find two stools to sit on outside and enjoyed some of the live music. The outside area would be a fabulous place to hang out on a cooler day but was really hot the day we were there. I absolutely loved the beer -- just the right combo of sour and fruity. I liked that they had a water dispenser and water cups available. We stopped into Liability Brewing Company while visiting Greenville because they allow dogs inside. We really enjoyed it. It's not a huge space, but there are a good amount of tables inside. Outside, they have a lot of seating including cushioned couches, positioned under pretty string lights. It is conveniently located next to a couple of restaurants that you can order food from and it seemed like they would bring the food over to you. The restaurants were Moe's Original Barbeque and a pizza place. They offered treats to our pups, and they even had a basket of dog toys for them to play with! Stopped by one evening with a friend who was in town.... Grabbed a couple of flights from a super friendly and knowledgeable bartender.. Sat outside on a beautiful evening; although there was a good crowd it was relaxing and quiet enough to have a nice conversation. You almost feel like you stepped into the Wild West when you enter Liability. Such a cool ambiance with the adobe building and open doorways where you can sit facing the outside but still enjoy a cold beer under some covering. Also oh my gosh their beers!! Something for everyone! There's IPAs, pilsner, barley wine, pale ale, cream ale, saison. You can get a 6oz pour for about $3 and a 12oz for $4-$5. So worth it!! Ask for a flight of four 6oz pours and they give you the flight in a tin can. A super plus is that it's connected with Moe's B-B-Q which has fantastic food. We have been going to Liability practically since they opened. The amazing outdoor space and open indoor area, all shared seamlessly with other businesses, makes the whole place feel open and welcoming. Fast forward 2020. Liability has become one of our go-to places to relax after work and on weekends. We loved it before the pandemic, however they are one of the local businesses that has truly put the safety of its customers and employees first. During the mask mandate, I have seen them turn away customers for not following their (and State mandated) rules. In a time of young businesses having to balance profit and patronage...watching these moments where they chose safety over one disgruntled person who can't follow the rules. Personally, I'm totally ok with a business willing to say "we've reached capacity "...because right now it's not about me, it's about all all of us being safe and getting through these unprecedented times. So go, grab a beer (or their new sparkling non-beer beverages), be safe, and say thank you for them putting YOU first . And raise a glass to a day where we can all gather again. read more

Came to this brewery while in town for a conference. I normally enjoy a good brewery and was eager to try. The service amazing despite the droves of people. The space is typical for a brewery. Bar on one side and tables to the the other with a room and additional seating in the back. What I wasn't a huge fan of was the beers. I love visiting local breweries when I visit a city but I found the brews I tasted were just average. The menu was also very IPA heavy which I feel didn't show variety in their brews. This is however a great place for larger groups which is a plus. Just wish the brews were better. read more

My SO and I are visiting from Southern California and decided to brewery hop our way around the area. Liability came as a recommendation from a server at another establishment in town. I am *so* glad we stopped by. You see, being in a relationship with someone who is the polar opposite in 99.9% of ways (including tastes in beers) can make finding food and drink a challenge. Visited this crafty little spot for a friend's birthday and I loved the shared outdoor seating between the brewery and the restaurant right next to it. It was a mild day but I'd definitely love to see the ambiance with the firepit lit. Super pet friendly, so bring the furry friends to enjoy the social outing too. I'm not a big beer fan but they allow you to try samples to see which you'd prefer and they have small oz sizes too, so you have room to try multiple selections. Another cool, new brewery in the Greenville area!! I've been eyeing this one since we noticed it a couple of weeks ago.. We visited today and it blew my expectations away. They have cleverly named beers that taste fantastic.. I had a Carl Von Cloudwitz (juicy IPA) and my fiancé had a Ghost Image (hazy IPA.) They had around 8 beers on tap of all varieties: barley wine, golden ales, IPAs, stouts, etc. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside, with chairs placed in clever locations such as overlooking the vats. It is an open air atmosphere, and the breeze today was lovely. Moe's BBQ is right next door, and we watched them deliver several yummy looking options to bar patrons. Parking was the only hassle, as the lot was completely full. Overall, a great experience. Well done Liability! read more

Really good beers! I loved the atmosphere and you can order food from Moe's BBQ next door.

Couple of things: 1) Worker was rude as shit. She tapped her fingers the entire time we were looking at the menu. She rushed us so we didn't really get to explore the beer options. Definitely didn't feel welcomed or comfortable here. 2) The Biscotti coffee ale should just be called The Magician. It tastes like coffee for all of 1.5 seconds and then complete disappears into the faint taste of water. The Faux Leather sour was the epitome of a "standard sour." Tastes like they googled 'how to make a sour at home' and went with the first recipe. 3) Only reason I gave it two stars was for the music selection that was played. read more

This was such a fun night with my BFF! Liability Brewing is in such a great location. It is a cute Brewery! The environment is so chill and friendly. The distillery is super clean! The staff is so knowledgeable and passionate about the product. We are lucky to have a craft brewery in the area that cares about their staff, the environment, and the customer! But really... we all care mostly about the product! The beer is delicious. I tried a few different types and even bought a 6 pack to take home! My favorite was the Kolsch. I can only drink certain beers because others give me a headache! This beer did not give me a headache or make me feel crappy! I love it. Came to Greenville from out of town and this was highly recommended by a friend. There is no indoor seating at this time due to Covid. There are a few Seats outside. We got there right when it opened so it was not crowded. My husband and I both got two IPAs. I do not remember the name of them but he said it's one of the best IPAs he's had. I do agree that both were great. It's also nice that there is a barbecue place next-door so you can grab some food and take it to the sitting area while you're drinking your beer. The waitress/cashier should consider a career that doesn't involve human interaction as she lacks customer service skills. Mind you, it's mid Covid but as we walked into the bar from the smoldering heat and within 2.5 seconds of being halfway "inside", she says to one of the people in our group "put your mask on, sir" as she rolls her eyes. Being a waitress for over 10 years and interacting with humans for more than 25 years, there are many ways to politely ask someone to do something and this is not it. Really liked this spot especially the proximity to Moe's BBQ being feet away and a crazy cool gas fire pit out front. The names of the beers are worth it alone because you almost feel obligated to try some because of the name. I was with some guys from our IT area and of course we had to start off with the "Have You Tried Turning It Off And On Again?" IPA. Then followed that up with the "Mortal Wombat" IPA.
