Kite Hill Brewing at Patrick Square is solid spot for lunch food or beer and wine. Great feel here very laid back atmosphere. Very easy service here look at the menu and order your food and drink of choice. Great food today the chicken salad croissant sandwich and kettle chips were on point delicious and one of us had the Reuben with kettle chips was excellent. Easy 5 Stars !!

Are you looking for some good brews while you're in town for the Clemson game? Kite Hill brewing offers a copious amount of beer options, so there's likely going to be something everyone will like! They also offer some food options if you find yourself craving some non drinkable carbs. The inside of the brewery pays tribute to Clemson University and also gives a more industrial vibe! The real selling point of this brewery is their covered patio area and adjacent grass area, so you can bring your kids or furry friends. During my visit, I enjoyed a flight of beers (4 beers) and the bartender was more than happy to provide some recommendations. While all of the beers were good, my favorite was the pretty as a peach. Definitely recommend giving this place a try! Cheers!

I really love the ambiance of the patio here with backyard games and picnic tables. The brewery was clean and well maintained inside. There was only bar service when we were there. There weren't many staff working but they did a great job of getting food and drinks to the customers. The beers were unique and really tasty! There was only soft pretzel was amazing.

Always good service, superb brews, very clean, great atmosphere and in a fun area. The food is always fresh and made to order.

Apparently, these folks haven't been open long; and, it shows a little. We walked in, and no one greeted us or gave instructions or an invitation to be seated. You just have to notice the sign at the bar that says, "Order Here." Okay. We ordered the Meat and Cheese Charcuterie Board, $23; and the Reuben on gluten-free bread, $10. I would definitely go back based on our enjoyment of these two dishes. The person who took our drink order seemed to be unsure of what they actually had. I ordered a ginger beer, as per the menu, but he gave me a kombucha. The ginger beer was not listed as a kombucha, so ... When our food came, no napkins or utensils accompanied the food, so I had to go to the bar and request them. A young man gave me some napkins, and delivered a fork, but said there were no knives. That would be expected with a charcuterie board. Even if you had not received your utensil order, you could at least pick up something at Publix. But, again, the food was good, so I wouldn't mind eating there again. Give it a try; especially if you like a good IPA.

About time 2 Clemson alumni open up a great space for craft beer and fun. Anna our bartender was amazing (another alumni). Beer was great fro pale ales to stout. Tuesday was tamale night and I highly recommend a $4 tamale and a beer. We left with beer, homemade pimento cheese and a TShirt. I'll visit again when I return for football

Clemson's best brewery I really like it here. I've come twice, once on their busy opening Saturday and then on a relatively quiet Tuesday evening. Both times I was happy and impressed, and left with a take-home six pack of beer. It's a wonderful inside area with some cool personality, lots of Clemson identity, and the small of malts in the air. The outdoor area is really pleasant, and I spent at least two hours there with friends on a warm summer day. Perfection. I've tried every beer they've released so far and none were bad. I really, really like the You're Outta Control, which is a collaboration with a brewery in Asheville. Hoppy, some pine, plenty of grapefruit. I liked their Bring Your Own Haze IPA, which is what I drank the most. The kolsh pleased my girlfriend, and they have some cool cucumber selzers to try, too. Flights are pretty cheap, so you should try them all. Overall was very happy here. Haven't tried the food but will check back then. All in all, a great addition to the Clemson community.

Recently opened brewery in Clemson. Great choice of beers and a cool environment. Will definitely come back and try the food.

This is a great brewery option. The beer is cold and well priced: tons of outdoor seating. They didn't have a lot of non beer options for the girl but there did have a La Croix. The child ordered a pretzel and it was delicious and the mustard was great!

Every beer was on the hoppy side for us. Ambiance was not relaxing in our opinion. Your mileage may vary.

We sat inside for a few minutes but decided the kids would have more fun with the open and Empty space on the back patio. One of the dads walked the kids out there to give them some room to play. The kids weren't being loud or disruptive at all, just being kids and walking around. While we were at the bar ordering drinks, the bartender said, "the kids can't be alone back there." We let him know a parent was literally with them and we were all going to join them when we got our drinks, but instead of acknowledging that, he watched the security cameras and replied, "We're trying to run a restaurant here." Again, the kids were NOT being bad, not screaming, and not being disruptive. His tone and attitude were shockingly rude. We were stunned. Not once were we spoken to with kindness, understanding, or basic hospitality from this bartender. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. We left after only 20 minutes and I'm so glad because upon leaving, I noticed the food looked bad as well. Extremely disappointed all around. Do better, bartender in the corduroy jacket.

It is suitable for crowds. Of course, the old silos were built for grain storage in the late 40's time frame and now have been turned into a community hub of restaurants, bars, live music, outdoor dining via numerous vendors, fire pits and large screen tv's with even a rail car venue in a very eclectic and hip, urban setting. We were eating at one of the associated restaurants, Inky's, and they allow us to go to Silos Brewing and grab a beer to bring back for the meal. Very cool since Inky's sells draft, but just not this craft Silos draft. I really liked the cooperative and laid back approach by both establishments, including that Silos Brewing let me carry the glass over and not just a plastic cup. They will get it back. My choice was the "Smoke on the Lager" which is, of course, a lager base with smoky hints that went well with my Authentic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. As their website says, "our backyard is your playground," and I bet on a warm spring or summer evening (rather than a rainy, winter Thursday), this place would be excellent fun. "A place to share stories over a pint, challenge friends to a casual game, or bask in the laid-back vibes of our beer garden." I get that from this establishment and will definitely be back to partake of this hospitality. From what I have seen, despite the less than ideal weather, this is a definite road worthy destination spot even from Greenville or Clemson.
