The food is delicious for the food I eat. Many different foods I don't care for so I have a method to my madness when I come to eat here. I don't eat sushi, So I haven't a comment on that. The salads are good for a basic salad they have many toppings if you want. It's a busy place with people replacing food and the counters. You'll have someone taking care of you, ie refills etc. It's nice in side with plenty of seating and so far very clean. That includes the restroom. Of course I only visit the men's. read more

The experience was horrible. The food was even worse and genuinely wanted to throw up the whole time.

Closed on Tuesday, so keep that in mind. I was not here on a Tuesday and enjoyed a very filling late lunch. I stuffed my face with chicken and vegetables, an egg roll, some wontons, a bunch of baked seafood and three plates of decent sushi, following it up with just a little bit of banana pudding. The steam tables were well stocked and tidy. The sushi was also stocked well and refreshed almost constantly. Lots of options here including a hibachi grill. This time my selection was the vegetable egg foo young with me feng noodles and mushrooms in oyster sauce. This was an excellent high protein meal and I tried a small portion of the baked white fish as well. If you are a fan of healthy and high protein dishes do give them a try. Go early for lunch and the selection is very fresh and delicious. Service is excellent and very attentive to customers. The ambiance is very nice as the artwork is very cute and there are some toys for sale as well so it's family friendly. read more

This is a good restaurant to choose when you have a big group. Lots of seating-both booths and tables and the buffet has a huge selection. There's Chinese food, sushi, American food -something for everyone in your group. Food choices are labeled in case you're not sure what you were about to try! I'm not sure what the children's price is but the adult price is $15.97. The sushi bar is included in the price. The drinks were just $1 with free refills. You paid at the beginning. If you don't have cash to leave on the table as a tip, don't forget to include that in your payment. The friendly servers were quick to bring out drinks and take away dirty plates. They definitely earned a little something extra. The restaurant appeared clean and nicely decorated. The overhead music set the tone; it was calming. The bathroom smelled like...well... a bathroom. Could use an air freshener in there, but it was clean. Although it was only the hubby and I eating lunch , this restaurant is very family/kid friendly. Although it is typical buffet food, the huge selection puts it into a category of its own. Good choice for whatever the size your group is. The hard part is deciding what dish to try next. read more

We come here once a week and it's consistently great. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is on point every time. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the hibachi is just as good. It's hard to find a place that's this consistent. Definitely one of our go-to spots. read more

Honestly place was pretty alright. Got in and seated quickly and drinks were refilled at a good rate. The layout of the buffet is simple but nice in presentation and accessibility to the tables surrounding the food. Food itself was fine nothing exceptional. Except for the sushi which I can't recommend. The nature of the place being a buffet means the sushi will be sitting out for a long while giving it a slight funky taste. Overall pretty fine read more

This was our first time eating here. We were looking for a Chinese restaurant closer to us, and this fit the bill! We enjoyed the many options of food available! I gave it 4 stars because the service could have been better!! They didn't seem very friendly, so I didn't really feel welcomed. Even though it's a buffet, the kind of service there, creates the energy of the restaurant!! read more

DOV: Sat, Feb 4, 2023 around 1:00pm I'm still trying to figure out why they have 3 stars on Yelp. They are clean, reasonably priced, and their food is great! I really enjoyed this place. They were clean, food was great, and they had a wonderful array of options. There was truly something for everyone. I normally don't like buffets so I was extremely hesitant in trying them. I've had one too many experiences of lots of options and horrible quality of food. This was a very pleasant surprise! Not only did they have lots to choose from, everything we tried tasted great! I even ended up taking some to go (for an additional charge) because it was so good! Hands down the best in the upstate I've tried so far! I'll be back read more

Priced right, clean and hibachi is friggin' amazing and fresh! Saw this restaurant was rated a 3 star restaurant before I went in...I give them a little more credit for a buffet that is very good. Outside was inviting. The inside is pretty standard for a buffet. Everything was very fresh. I was really surprised. Hibachi had shrimp, chicken, beef all cooked in front of you with the spices you want on them. (I picked hot garlic) Flavor was on point! The Chinese options were great, salad bar was good and the dessert bar was fair. Ice cream is in a cup, like you would get in elementary school. Really overall, I really, really enjoyed this experience. Wait staff was great! I will definitely go back. You should give them a shot! read more

This is a great upgrade to the every Sunday Golden coral dinners. They have a wide verity for everyone. Everything was really clean, well stocked and looked fresh. We were greeted with a warm hello and even through it was a buffet the waitress continued to check on us regularly. Reasonable prices. read more

I went to Imperial in March 2024 and was disappointed in their offerings like chicken with broccoli, the sesame chicken and the gen zhou chicken. These came from a frozen bag and heated up - the textures of all the ingredients were the same - mushy, and all tasted the same. What seemed like the best choice was the hibachi bar where you load up your fresh ingredients and they cook right away. The salmon was good. But the egg rolls were cooked and held over - very tough and hard to chew. The rice and noodles on the food bar were mushy. All in all not a fresh experience. I would try a competitor next time. read more

Plenty of selections from sushi, hibachi , Chinese and American foods. All you can eat for 15.99 per person. Service is great, they are always refilling drinks and clearing plates Ambiance is family style very kid friendly read more

DOV: Friday, May 04 @ 11:15 am This is the same place that has been here for years with some minor upgrades inside, a new name, and a higher price for the food. Lots to choose from on the all-you-can-eat buffet, although much of it is American fluff food that I care nothing for like chicken nuggets, rolls, cheese sticks (not real cheese), fried chicken wingettes, and so on. Of the oriental food, I was pressed to find something good. The egg drop soup was anemic, the General Tso's chicken was mostly breading, the egg rolls were cool (not hot) and not appetizing, and the fried rice was uninspiring. The iced tea was weak - you could see through it like dirty water. I did not try the sushi even though I love sushi. I don't eat sushi from a "place like this." (yes, I am elitist that way) Adult Buffet Lunch...$ 8.29; Unsweet Tea...$1.89; Total with tax...$11.10; Tip...2.00; Total for Lunch for One Person...$13.10 Product presentation - 5 Product quality - 2 Service - 5 Value for the money - 2 This place shows really well, but at the end of the day, it's just not for me. If I am gonna spend over $10 for lunch, I am looking for some quality, not just quantity. read more

It was okay nothing to brag about. The only good thing was the very nice waitress she was on top of her game. The rest of the place actually sucked! read more

AMAZING first experience and I'll SO GLAD we gave it a chance the 3-star review on here!! This place is always packed when we drove by so it didn't make sense, so we gave it a shot. Low reviews are for past owners years ago. Now, this place is AWESOME. It is a very large buffet , plus hibachi. We are pescatarian (only meat is fish) and it has plenty of decent options for us. LOTS of GOOD desserts...best desserts of any Chinese buffet I've been. There are 2-3 buffet tables with desserts, including ice cream cups, home baked items (hot), and FRESH cut fruit. I appreciate their NO WASTE policy (please read sign when you enter) and it's easy to do this if you are conscientious of what you put on your plate. Worth the $15 dinner price if you go hungry. Very tasty and warm food. We will be going again!! read more

This restaurant reminds of another hibachi buffet in Augusta, GA that closed down because of Covid. It's nostalgic for me, brings back so many memories and it's great food and they have an hibachi grill where you can pick what u want cooked. Go when it's busy because that's when it will be the freshest. read more

New ownership at this restaurant. I love Chinese food, so I checked it out. Let me say it's good. Buffett is always hot, there is a gentleman walking around the Buffett with a walkie talkie and he is checking to see what's low and needs to be changed, then he calls it back to the kitchen and they bring it. Very clean, friendly, decent price for a buffet. Cost me $8.95 plus a tip, not bad at all. Remodeled restrooms. Open atmosphere. Sushi and hibatchi also. Not sure about the weekend pricing, I went during the week. read more

The sushi is really some of the worst I've eaten. There is a great variety for families but the quality just isn't there. Not impressed at all. read more

Sushi and hibachi was fresh and abundant. Buffet items were all filled and hot. The hot food items needed some personalized seasoning, but this is expected as people's tastes differ. There were plenty of American and children's options as well. There were plenty of dessert choices, including individual ice creams, cookies, cakes and pudding. Our server was attentive and friendly and the whole operation was well staffed. Our bill was 23$ for 2 adults before tipping the hibachi/sushi chef and our attendant. read more

A huge selection of flavors. It's a buffet... Very filling. They really are trying...

Nice try! This definitely missed several marks. I will try to sum it up... food temperature not sufficiently hot, not Sure how cold temps were since I didn't stay for dessert. Quality of fried foods were soggy not crunchy, rice choices one mushy the other dried. One beef dish flavor was so unusual it almost tasted as if black coffee was used as a base flavor profile, was very off putting. Attempted the hibachi, serve your own shrimp then they cook it up, shrimp was not deveined a major red flag. The grill chef was confused why I rejected the shrimp, simply put I'm not eating shrimp poop! I don't know what else to say, but we left very dissatisfied. Will Not return! Only reason scored 2 stars was for their effort in offering a wide variety of choices, yet mediocre at best. read more

Management was horribly. Accused us of lying about child's age because the child was a big child. Then continued to walk back and forth around the table acting like we had lied. Will not go to this restaurant again. Food was also sub-par. read more

I had visited the new imperial grill, my first encounter with the guy cashier was not Pleasant,he was rude and accuse my 10yr old granddaughter of not being 10 said she was too big for her age, then he proceeded to walk around and look to see how many plates we had on our table basically watched our every move. Well I know for sure I will not be going back to Imperial Grill the service stinks the attitude is just as bad and the food is cold. We ate here for lunch was not happy. I will start with the good points. The place was very clean. They had a good selection of Chinese and American dishes.
