Fantastic!!! I just talked to Ben over the phone about a small problem I am having with my mini. He was so knowledgeable and genuinely kind that I will now travel the 45 minutes to get my car repaired by them next time I need them. He even answered me in his off hours and had full conversation - answering all of my many questions very patiently and thoroughly. If their service reflects my experience with them over the phone just now (in solving a small technical issue I am having with my coop) I will never need to look for another auto shop!! Looking forward to doing business with them in the future. read more

The only place I would consider bringing my Mini. Ben and Jeff are honest, hard working and knowledge mechanics. Their pricing for services are very fair and better than both dealers/other independent shops. Don't waste your time going to other mechanics. read more

I've been with Mini Cooper & BMW Experts since 2012 and the service has always been amazing. I was jerked-around by Mini dealerships for too long and randomly found Ben and his team through a Google search -- wow -- what a find! I've had all kinds of repairs done over the years. My initial problem back in '12 was the typical problem with '06 Minis: the transmission. I was really surprised at the time how honest and transparent these guys are with their work. Ben spent a good 10 minutes on a drive with me, then explained how, in fact, they rebuild the transmission. It's rare to have someone spend that amount of time walking you through repairs, etc; they really do care about their customers. Since then I've never been to another Mini dealership! You might be wonder, "but are they cheaper?" My answer: hell yes they are. And they treat you with respect. Mini Cooper & BMW Experts will always be honest with you about repairs and they'll do what they can to work with you. P.S. the new location is a total upgrade from the old place. Bravo, guys! read more

Took my daughter's car a few times and Ben always provides great service and fixed the car on time and prices were better than most places. There was even a time when he said I should go to the dealer to double check that a particular part wasn't still covered. Honest and reliable. read more

I rarely post reviews, but I had to post one for these guys. I live out in Ontario, so there aren't many Mini mechanics in the area. I found these guys on Yelp & took my wife's Mini Cooper to be looked at because it was jerking upon acceleration. The problem was quickly diagnosed and corrected. I was in and out within 1 hour which is unheard of in the auto service industry. The price was very fair & what I really liked about this place was they did a good job explaining and showing me what the problem was. They even replaced a light bulb for free. It's going the extra mile that will keep customers happy and being upfront & honest about services needed. At no point did I feel like I was paying for services I didn't need. I highly recommend Cooper & Bimmer experts. I wish they worked on Mercedes lol read more

Great mechanic. Honest and good. Very hard to find such ones these days. Definitely a keeper. never been disappointed dealing with them.

I will never trust another dealer... EVER AGAIN! After multiple visits to my local dealer concerning my 07 Cooper S running rough, I was told that I needed a new engine. I found this hard to believe because I had just been in the month prior and everything appeared to be perfect (according to the same dealer) when I asked why they hadn't seen any warning when I was in previous they had no answer. I left after seeing the outrageous quote and jumped on online to seek an additional opinion. That's when I found Ben's shop! Not only did they find the real problem (just a valve issue) but they got me taken care of in a reasonable amount of time! Ben put his AMAZING tech Randy on my car and made sure I was taken care of the Right Way! I will NEVER return to a dealer. Cooper and Bimmer Experts have my business for life! Thanks for all your help Ben and Randy! read more

In All my years, I've never been to a more honest mechanic. Ben is exceptional in every way. I've taken my BMW 750 Li to the dealership several times, but never again. Ben will be the only guy I trust. I brought my car to him in the morning and it was completed by 4:00 pm the same day. WOW! That never happens. I loved how he gave me the low down on what needed to be worked on and gave me a few options as too the most important things first. That really helped! Thanks Ben and the crew! Great work! You have a lifetime customer! read more

Really good place to repair your MINI. The people work there are super NICE!!! They only recommend what you really need to do and they give a reasonable price to repair it. If you have a MINI need to be repair, I highly recommend Mini Cooper Experts.!!!! read more

There is an old saying....something about which is more valuable....a good doctor, or a good mechanic? I have a good doctor and now I have found a great mechanic for our 09 Mini Cooper Clubman S. Major kudos to Ben (owner) and his great crew; Kathy and Jeff. Take the knowledge and experience of a certified Mini mechanic and subtract the expensive dealership overhead,..etc...etc... and you have Mini Cooper Experts! If you have to replace something or need to schedule service, do yourself a favor and price it with the dealership first and then call and speak with the ever pleasant and knowledgeable Kathy and be prepared to be pleasantly surprised. And do NOT equate a lower cost with a lower level of service. I have taken our car there three times (most recently this week) and will continue to let Ben and his crew work on our Mini. OK, so I've never actually been to this place BUT.... I was getting a dashboard reading on my 2013 mini cooper that said "increased battery discharge". I took my car to Monrovia Mini early one Saturday morning without an appointment so of course they couldn't help me but they made me an appointment for the following Saturday and told me it would cost $160+ to find out the origin of this warning. I was told that this $160+ would be applied to the cost of any repair work done on that day. I asked the intake person at Monrovia Mini if they couldn't just check the battery to make sure it was ok but nope, they were too busy. So, I took my car to Sears on Foothill in Pasadena and they ran, FOR FREE, a diagnostic test on both my battery and my alternator--both were fine. Now I was really puzzled and here's where Cooper & Bimmer Experts come in.... I called them and spoke to Ben. I told him what was going on. He explained to me this could be caused not because of the car battery but because the battery in the key fob is running low. He suggested I try using the second key I was given when I purchased the car. He said if that didn't work to call him back. Tried his suggestion and dashboard reading stopped. HOWEVER, when I did this my radio presets stripped out and my nav map went all squirrley. At first I thought this happened because of something I'd done so for a week I tried to fix on my own with no positive results. So, I called Ben back and he remembered the year of my car and remembered speaking to me the previous week. I explained to him what was happening and once again, Ben explained to me the situation...Long story short, nothing to sweat over....read the owner manual and I could prob fix it myself. At NO time did Ben press me to bring my car in for him to look at. At NO time did Ben make me feel rushed or like I was imposing on him asking him about my situations. He was always helpful and extremely pleasant. At NO time did Ben make me feel like he just wanted to make money off me. I don't know about you, but I appreciate and will do business with and be loyal to a company who is willing to help, without charge. I appreciate that the first thing out of Ben's mouth WAS NOT "gee, I don't know what's wrong with your car. Bring it in and we'll look at it for $160+". Like I said in the beginning, I've never been to this shop but I'm taking my car in for a bumper-to-bumper inspection at the end of the month. Ben was even able to tell me the cost to do this, on the phone, and didn't give me some vague response when I asked him how much the inspection would cost. Thank you Ben. read more

I have an R53 Mini I purchased last year that needed some TLC and was not running too well. I read the positive reviews on Cooper & Bimmer on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I am glad I did. Mini Cooper experts are the best mechanics I"ve ever dealt with. They seem to truly care about their customers. Their customer service is outstanding. We were given an accurate appraisal of our transmission problem, what the repair cost would be, when the repairs would be completed, all in a very straightforward and honest manner. This shop specializes in Mini repair, so I knew I was in the right place. Much to my surprise, they called the next day and informed me that the repair would cost less than originally thought! The mechanic I dealt with (Jeff) was particularly helpful. I drove over 50 miles to get here, well worth it. I only wish all repair shops were this way: caring, competent, and fair. read more

Faithful customer. I took my '12 Mini in for some repairs. I spoke to the owner Ben and mentioned a couple of things I thought were wrong with it, the main thing being the head cover gasket. He mentioned that there didn't seem to be a leak from the gasket and that the oil I saw was most likely old residue from a spill. Honesty is why I trust this place, he easily could have just replaced it and I wouldn't have been any the wiser. He's repaired my car multiple times and never tried to sell me on any unnecessary service. read more

We recently purchased our young daughter a 2007 Mini Cooper S (Mini) from a private party knowing in advance the car was possibly a long-term project since the engine needed some TLC and had other miscellaneous cosmetic/mechanical work. Specifically, the Mini had a bad water pump, was misfiring on cylinders 1,2,3 &4, had a loud deflating balloon sound when the engine was shut off, a small oil leak, and a very rough idle, etc. Although this was our daughter's first vehicle, not to mention her dream Mini, my wife and I informed her that if the repairs were too costly, we might be required to sell it for something else. Mini Cooper Experts in Glendora, CA came highly recommended by several of our friends/co-workers, had great customer reviews and they did not disappoint. When we called the office, Kathy was very helpful, polite and listened to all our concerns/issues relative to the Mini and quickly called us back with a general estimate of the potential cost of repairs. As a result, we decided to have the Mini towed to their shop as opposed the local dealership and/or any other independent auto service center. Within minutes of arriving there, Kathy escorted us into the shop and introduced me and my daughter to Jeff. Jeff immediately drove the Mini into the service bay and placed the car on the lift to began the diagnostic check. After completing the diagnostic evaluation, Jeff summoned us over to the Mini then clearly and systematically explained what the issues were and total cost involved to repair the Mini. We are happy to report that after only one day at Mini Cooper Experts, we picked up the Mini and all the work was completed as promised in an outstanding/professional manner for a reasonable price. Ben, the owner, even took the time to provide our young daughter with an overview of some the maintenance systems/gauges on her Mini as well as explain to her how to properly read the dip-stick to determine the current oil level. Without any doubt, we will definitely be back to Mini Cooper Experts for all of our future service needs. Kathy, Jeff and Ben thanks again for your outstanding, honest, timely and professional service. Most importantly, thank you for assisting us with making our daughter's dream come true. It is much appreciated! read more

So I recently took my BMW 325is here to this shop and I was very very surprised and happy ... A previous shop had my car and they had did about $2000 of work on my car and I still had the exact same problem I was so fucking pissed I couldn't believe that i got charged that much and I still had the same problem .. so I had Nick at this shop look at my car and within 30 minutes he called me and told me hey buddy come pick up your car I was in shock I was like no way dude my car was vibrating my car will stalling , my car had all kinds of issues... and he told me next time bring your car here the only thing that was wrong with your car was a ((( BOLT ))) I'm LIKE WTF !!!! I said a bolt ?? he said yes you had one bolt missing from the driveshaft I couldn't believe it I was so relieved and pissed off at the same time... but what got my attention is the integrity of this technician and the integrity of the shop they could've easily told me hey bro you're gonna need this you're going to need that , and guess what ?? ! My ass would have took out my wallet and drop the cash right there on the spot because I was desperate and I wanted my car fixed I literally would've just gave him whatever he wanted.. so I wanna SAY thank you to NICK for having Integrity and doing the right thing for the customer ... THIS IS MY GO TO SHOP NOW ...and PS the owner was also cool and understanding ... read more

The best Mini Cooper and Bimmer repair shop in SoCal! Highly recommend! Ben is the best!

I took my 2011 Mini Cooper hardtop to Ben for a brake flush and oil change. They also checked the brakes and did an overall inspection. Ben is hard working and honest as is the rest of the crew. They didn't try to up sell or look for things to fix. I have complete confidence in their work and honesty. I highly recommend them!! read more

Called in and spoke to Ben this morning about my mini cooper. He did not hesitate to give me his time to answer all of my questions. Im a tech and i asked him a lot of questions because im not familiar with Mini cooper. Most shops will not take their time to do this for you because time is money! You can tell that he is passionate about autorepair and that is 1 step above a good technician. Super knowledgable! Thank you Ben! read more

This is my second time coming to Mini Cooper Experts and I wouldn't want to take my car anywhere else. Ben Parker is the owner here and both mechanics are Mini certified. I only trust Ben with my Mini Cooper. I was fortunate to meet him because my Mini's transmission failed at the 65,000 mile mark. The dealership wanted to charge an arm and a leg... and that was a discounted price. I called Ben among other mini mechanics. When I spoke to Ben he was the most considerate, honest, and welcoming person I dealt with during that frustrating time. He offered reasonable prices and a welcoming voice. Needles to say his pleasant demeanor is a reflection of his stellar work. My car works just like new and I feel like my investment is safe. I am happy to drive 45 minutes to Glendora in order for Ben to look at my car any time. I trust his work and expertise. read more

Well, here we are, 14 years later and my 2003 Cooper S finally experienced a catastrophic failure; the clutch imploded. Naturally, I checked Yelp to see who the community thought I could trust with my one and only, and wow, did you come through. It was almost unanimous that Cooper and Bimmer Experts were the best, and they really are. Maybe it's just the euphoria of having my Mini running better than it has in years, but Ben is the best at putting you at ease about your repairs, telling you what they can do, then over-delivering. To a lot of people, their car is just transportation, but I'm one of those freaks who actually develops a relationship with their car (which I think is a little more common among Mini motorers), so the experience was potentially harrowing. Ben and the craftsmen at CBE made it survivable. After only two days of work, my Mini is back with me and running like new(ish). I knew there were other looming problems when I brought (towed) my car in; I even knew what a lot of them were. At no extra charge, CBE gave the car a complete once-over while they were diagnosing the main problem and found all of the other lurking failures I knew about and a few that I didn't. They fixed the ones I could afford so I could get back on the road and gave me good quotes on the rest. Needless to say, I'll be back to get the rest straightened out as well. No, they're not cheap, but they are a lot more reasonable than the dealers, they're faster and their warranty is even better. Everything is fully explained, the work is outstanding and the customer service is the best. I wish there was a sixth star to hand out. read more

This place is heaven sent!! They are all honest good people with amazing prices. They do not try and get more money out of you and if the problem with your car is an easy fix they won't charge you an arm and a leg for labor. I needed to get a temperature sensor replaced. Mini of Ontario quotes $800. They also added in other repairs that I did not ask or want such as replacing my fender light etc. I called here and said it would be $50 including labor. This is such great news to hear! read more

Ben is the best to work with! After talking with him about my transmission (which was destroyed and the dealer wanted $9,000 to replace and salvaged yards were selling used ones for $3,500), Ben managed to build my tranny with a lot of upgraded components at a cost well below half of what the dealer quoted. His service was impeccable and it was only a 48 hour turn around for my Mini to be up and running flawlessly! Excellent shop, well worth the 8 hour drive. read more

Everything about these guys is PERFECT! After looking and not being able to use my car for TWO WEEKS my boyfriend came across this place. From all the 5 star reviews we felt it was a good place to check out before we decided to take to the dealer (which is extremely expensive). We live in LA so the drive to Glendora with traffic was roughly a 45 min. drive. My Mini was towed and left there for the following morning to be inspected. Ben spoke with us and before doing everything he took the time to know the history of the car. The job was going to end up being almost $500 but we were talking to Ben about how at the dealer we had some type of warranty but they were making a big deal about explaining it to us. Ben called them, despite the hassle in speaking with dealerships, and figures out what type of warranty my car had. We ended up paying the deductible ONLY. $250 job. Thank you Ben! If he wouldn't have taken the time to find out we would have spent so much money. Any other place wouldn't take the time to do all that and just take the money. Ben really takes care of his customers. Today I picked up my Mini and as I was pulling up with my truck the back tire went over the curb causing the tire to pop. I didn't even noticed until Ben saw me pull in and told me. He immediately figured out a way to help. Both Jeff and Ben did there best to take the spare tire out of the Chevy Avalanche. Looking on Google and YouTube they got the job done. Katherine , such a sweet lady, was great help searching on Google exactly how to release the spare tire. Not only did he install the spare tire but helped me buy a new tire for only $130 at Tire Zone. Now Ben and Jeff can become a Chevy expert as well! I highly recommend this place to any Mini Cooper owner. Small or big job, far or close to the place, take your Mini. You will not find better service any where else. read more

Psst. Come here. You. Yeah, you. I'll tell you a secret. Honest, decent mechanics do exist. Ben at Mini Cooper Experts is one of them. I am new to Mini ownership with my 2008 Mini Cooper S, and knew nothing about them. I came to Ben after only owning it a month simply because I had questions. I had a hundred questions, and he had a thousand answers. He took his time to explain things to me and was very patient and honest. Now that's how a mechanic is supposed to be. I should say I am lucky because he is only one block down from my home, and he opened a month after i purchased my Mini. What luck! Not that I hope to have to go to him often, but I'm certainly glad he is there! Ben tells me he will give new customers 10% on their visit to the shop. How can you beat that? Give him a call, or drive on in. You will be glad you did. Happy Motoring! read more

I took my Mini to Ben yesterday, and couldn't be more pleased with the results! He repaired some things my dealership inspection turned up at hundreds less than the dealer quote! I called Mini Cooper experts after seeing all the great reviews. I have to say that I was quite impressed with this place. When I first called I was greeted by the kindest woman, Kathy. I had always taken my Mini to the dealer so this was my first time calling an independent shop. She encouraged me to bring my car in after I told her my check engine light was on. She told me diagnostics could be done at the time I requested & that it would be free of charge! Who does that anymore? I brought in my car at the scheduled time & was immediately greeted by Ben. He invited me to wait in their tv area while he ran the diagnostics and within minutes he knew what the problem was. He not only told me, he showed me & explained it in layman's terms so I would understand. He then spoke to my husband on the phone to explain the problem to him as well. The quote he gave us was reasonable, although I really wasn't hoping to spend that amount of money. However, the wonderful Cathy was able to find out for us that the repairs that my car needed were still covered under my existing warranty! She spent an hour or more of her day making calls to find out this information for us. She went above & beyond to save us money & for that I am so grateful! That is excellent customer service & will not be forgotten! My car may not have been serviced here, but I am definitely bringing it back in the future! read more

Ben at Mini Cooper Experts is THE BEST! After my MINI was out of warranty, I struggled to find a good mechanic that wouldn't take advantage of me. Not only is he honest, he is an expert at the intricacies and difficulties of owning a MINI. I was contemplating trading my car in for a more reliable one, but now that I found Mini Cooper Experts, I might hold off.
