Ben was a great guy. Very professional and accommodating as I had called for a cosmetic job on my car. He scheduled me and appointment, performed the job quickly, and am very satisfied with the job. Will be coming here more times in the future. read more

I was scared to take my mini into a mechanic because I thought they were going to lie or over price the work. But saw good reviews for the mini cooper experts. I took my car in and they took great care of my car and didn't try to scan me. They told me the truth and everything was great reasonable price. Very happy will definitely recommend them very nice, friendly and honest! read more

I trust Ben with all my mini cooper issues. He has been amazing and very trust-worthy and even when he is overwhelmed he will take the time to check out my car and he has been quick to respond! I appreciate you. Thank you for being my go to Mini mechanic. read more

Making an appointment for this place is worth the wait! You will get better service here than at any dealership. I have been bringing my 2010 mini S here for a long time and I am always happy with the service. I don't think they know how much their friendly service means to me. My mother passed away a month ago and I have been having such a hard time. When I showed up this morning for my appointment it was like being welcomed in by family. Felt nice to be treated so sweet by people who had no idea what I was going through. They really care about their customers and I can't thank them enough. -happy customer read more

Ben is seriously amazing! They are honest, trustworthy and price fairly. MINI quotes double what these guys quote and they are so nice about it! I've been going here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else - I even drive about an hour to come here over anywhere else. Go to these guys!!! read more

I wouldn't take my Mini anywhere else for those big and small jobs. I can always rely on Ben and his boys to help me out. My 2006 Mini Cooper is running strong and it will be for a lot longer thanks to this shop. Thanks for everything! read more

Highly recommend!! New customer here and definitely will be coming back. I called multiple shops for an issue with the wiring harness on my vehicle and found Ben. I dropped off my BMW right before the Covid 19 breakout and he was very transparent and kept me updated throughout the whole process. He always answered my calls and explained each process thoroughly. Ben is very knowledgeable on BMW's and VERY fairly priced -He went above and beyond and took extra care of my vehicle by adding additional safety precautions to make sure the issue I came in with doesn't happen again. The shop is 45 miles away from me but well worth the drive - Will absolutely be recommending him! read more

Ben is an honest and wonderful mechanic. There were moments he could have ripped us off, but he owned up (to a tiny mistake), and handled it like a pro. Other guys would have used it as an excuse to charge you extra. First time we came to him, he not only lifted the car up on the rails, but he walked us underneath and showed us everything he saw wrong that was CLEARLY not right. No one ever does that. He was very thorough, transparent and never pushy. He does not try to drain your wallet. We brought him our car worried about this stranger...and took out car home purring like a kitten. That was yrs ago. We will never change mechanics again. Every time we bring our mini in, we drive it home and we can hear it sighing with relief from the great care it's been given. Thank you, Ben. It's never easy trusting a new mechanic. And it's always a relief to find one you can trust, Like Cooper and Bimmer Experts. read more

Fast service, good work, reasonable price. Honest. Went in for oil change. They said thermo stat need to be changed because it was stuck open. I asked if it's hard to replace they said no. Most shops would have said yes to get more money. Been there for other work on my x3. Always satisfied. read more

Great and honest mechanic! Service is 5 star, Ben (owner) and staff were very thorough with the work being done on our mini. I was super hesitant at first I've only had the car serviced at the dealership until warranty expired, we have found our Mini Cooper mechanic! read more

I was drawn to Cooper and Bimmer experts because of the extremely high number of positive review stating that this shop is honest and reasonable. The shop is located in an industrial area so you will need to use a GPS to find it without much trouble. Fortunately there were ample parking spaces when I pulled up. They have their own parking lot which is a positive. As soon as I left my car, Ben the owner greeted me. I noticed there were many BMW cars and SUV vehicles in the service bay which is reassuring. He quickly pulled my vehicle in for the pre inspection examination. The pre inspection was very reasonably price considering the detailed inspection. It took about 1-1/2 hour and the vehicle was inspected through a fine tooth comb. When you are buying an expensive BMW, a pre inspection is critical in saving you thousand dollars of headache after the purchase. I learned my lesson the hard way when I purchased a Mercedes without a pre inspection. The BMW SUV was hoisted on a lift and the undercarriage was carefully inspected. Moreover, a sophisticated computer was hooked up which even retrieved codes hidden deep which my consumer diagnostic scanner did not find. Based on the detailed inspection, Ben found out that the oil pan was leaking and need to be replaced. The labor involved is estimated between 6-7 hours because the sub frame needs to be removed. Moreover, Ben found that a nail caused the TPMS sensor to go haywire. Further, the computer analysis found out that the mirrors would not electrically retract as they should. Armed with this information, I can negotiate with the dealer for a better price or one can just walk away from the deal. As stated in the other reviews, Ben was brutally honest. I will be bringing all my other BMW vehicles to Ben. He definitely knows his BMWs. read more

Don't bring your car here brought it one day to program a new battery and when I received the car I was driving home when I noticed that there was something flapping under my car and then I realized the tried to keep the plastic cover from under my car and my plastic jack pads as well make sure all your parts are there this shop are thieves and they claim they "forgot" to put it on they try to steal from paying customers that they think won't notice and no we this isn't the wrong business read more

My sons Mini was shifting harshly and the dealer had said the transmission would likely fail soon and would need eventual replacement. Ben told us it was the harness but since they were there it'd be prudent to revalve the tranny which would make future failure unlikely and cost under half the cost of a whole tranny. We were thinking we'd have have to get rid of this car which my son loves but not now. Thanks again experts. read more

I was a little skeptical with all the good reviews at first, but this place is truly as good as people say. I had my first visit at Cooper and BMW Experts and it went extremely well. Great service from Ben and his crew. Ben is a real pleasure to work with; very friendly, honest, and sincere. He mistakenly quoted me for a job that took a few more hours than he quoted. He was a man of his words and stuck with his original quote even though I offered to split the difference. Shop and waiting room are very clean and well maintained, with water and coffee. read more

Long overdue review, been going to Ben and his team when they were at the old location and now that they moved I still go to them. Everything about this place is great from pricing to customer service. First went to Monrovia mini and boy did they tell me this and that and how much was it was just ridiculous. This place is awesome and I never felt like they were charging me too much plus the customer service I receive every time I come here is excellent, they only tell you what you need to get done and also won't force you. This place is the place to go and Im sure you won't be going to any other place. And that's a fact Thanks again to Ben and his team for looking out for my mini ") read more

You know how it always hurts when you get the bill after taking your ailing car in for a repair? Well, it hurts a less when you visit Ben at Mini Cooper Experts. The reason for that is you're not being gouged, the right thing is being fixed and he doesn't try to up sell you. My Cooper's exhaust pipe broke right at the catalytic converter. To replace it, the part alone was $1390 at the dealer and the dealer's labor charge was $520. I spent two days trying to find a cheaper alternative when I stumbled upon Ben. He removed the exhaust manifold, had it welded (he did not play the game of "yeah, we'll take care of it here." He told me he was gonna send it out to a welder) and he did it for around $300! I told him he should charge more. Bonus: I needed a rental car and, while his helper was gone, he offered to close his shop and drive me to Enterprise to get a rental. Wow! That's service! Bonus #2: Enterprise charged me more than they told Ben they'd charge his customers and Ben offered to take that amount off my repair bill! I couldn't believe it! HE was going to give ME money. I declined to accept and later his office lady called Enterprise, hammered them and Enterprise coughed up the refund. Ben's a former BMW and Mini dealer mechanic and obviously an expert at that, but he's also an expert in customer service. I'm considering breaking something on the Mini just so I can go back to Ben's shop. read more

Found The Experts on Yelp. Made appointment with Cathy and dropped the car off. Not only did they waive the $50 diagnostic fee, but ultimately saved me at least $600. Mini Dealer in Monrovia told me and documented that our car needed an inner/outer axel boot. Was told it was torn and ripped. Took it to The Experts and Ben solved the problem by adjusting and tightening a clamp. The boots were not torn or ripped at all... Ben's HONESTY and OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE found him a new customer. Believe the hype. This place is for real! STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT MINI OF MONROVIA! DISHONEST! read more

Took my 2009 Mini Cooper S Convertible to Ben. After making several phone calls to multiple shops, it was clear Ben was the most knowledgable. He answered all my questions perfectly. I am no car expert, but he was able to dumb down everything to my understanding. When I arrived at his shop on the day of my appointment, Ben greeted me right away. Took my car for a quick 3 min test drive and knew right away what the problems were. He even showed me a car he was currently working on to show me exactly which parts needed repair. At the end of the day, I had my car back. This was a job the MINI dealership would've taken a week to complete, but Ben took just an afternoon. I can't be happier with the results! Great service! Feels like a brand new car! Take your MINI to Ben and you will not be disappointed! SCOUTS HONOR! -Michelle read more

I have come to rely on Yelp for services that I can't ask friends about. This time I needed help with my 2010 MINI Cooper Clubman. Again, Yelp has not failed me and referred me to The MINI Cooper Experts in Glendora. I had previously taken my MINI to the dealer in Santa Ana for its routine maintenance and while there, I had alerted them to a rattling sound I heard at start-up. The issue was a broken timing chain that if left alone would cause serious damage to the motor. Who wants that? So, I asked for a quote and of course it was astronomical. I was nervous, after 4 years of owning my MINI I hadn't needed any extensive repairs. So I felt I should look around and get another quote. This is when I found the MINI Cooper Experts in Glendora and talked to Ben. Ben's the coolest guy and later found out he's a certified MINI mechanic and wears the MINI branded mechanic's shirt. In fact all his guys are professional looking with their branded attire. Looking around the shop is clean, well organized, and full of MINIs. That's all they work on - which to me says they know everything about my car. After they had assessed my car, they validated the repair needed to be done, but at a substantially lower price. The dealer's quote was a whopping 6-times higher! Needless to say, I approved the quote and the result is great. I'm very happy I found nearby mechanics who offer tremendous value and are very personable. They even washed my car. Only the dealer in Santa Ana had done that before. The MINI Cooper Experts have a loyal customer. read more

If you're looking for an HONEST and fair mechanic for your Mini Cooper or Bimmer repair work, you won't need to look any further. Ben and his crew are the absolute best! I took my Mini there recently thinking I would need a brake repair job done since the warning light had come on. It turned out that it was loose wiring that caused the brake warning light to go on. No brake repair needed! Ben had the wiring fixed and didn't charge me. Now, where else are you going to find a mechanic like that? Other places would have replaced my brakes even though I didn't need it. Charge me anyway! In this day and age, if you can find a good and honest mechanic, you've truly found treasure. My highest recommendations for Cooper and Bimmer Experts! read more

Hands down, THE MOST honest auto mechanic I've EVER dealt with. Ben is extremely knowledgeable and beyond fair. He used to work for Mini and uses their software to diagnose your car. By the way, he doesn't charge one penny to simply hook your car up and tell you what's wrong. MINI charges $180 for this. Official Mini dealers may have good customer service when it comes to selling you a car, but are terrible when it comes to service. I went to two different dealers prior to coming here and they will nickel and dime you every step of the way. They'll never get another dime of my money again. Mini Cooper Experts is the only place to go. Ben is the man! read more

Another great experience with Mini Cooper Experts. Came in today to get engine, transmission, and brake fluids changed. They had me in and out of there in less than an hour. Ben is an honest and straightforward guy who is clearly a true expert at what he does. I took my 2009 Mini Cooper into his shop after making the mistake of having Firestone of West Covina tinker mindlessly with my vehicle and charging me for amateur work that they did on it. I wish I would've brought my Mini Cooper to Ben's shop in the first place, which would've saved me money, time, and stress! Ben and Jeff immediately ran diagnostics and took the time to explain to me what their findings were and how they were going to solve each issue with the car. They even took my car to get smog checked (I am now waiting at the DMV to get my registration tags). If you have a Mini Cooper or BMW, save yourself the time and money from taking your vehicle elsewhere. Have your car maintained or repaired the RIGHT WAY by taking it to The Mini Cooper & BMW Expert, the name says it all. Ben and his team have the knowledge and experience, while general mechanics like Firestone most likely refer to Google as their guide. I will be taking my Mini Cooper here for any type of maintenance or repair from now on. read more

Got front break and rotor replaced for $350 which is a lot cheaper compared to the dealer's quote of $800. Called and was able to get an appt the same day. Ben replaced the break in an hour which from personal experience (easily take 2 hr for the dealers to do a simple oil change) is super fast! Very happy with the service! read more

I found this place accidentally from Google. I just got my used Mini Cooper for2 weeks and I found out a couple things that made me upset. One was that I my car had some leakage and the other is that a small seam on the drivers side window was slightly open so when driving I could hear the wind go through. I originally just wanted to get an oil change for the car because I wasn't sure if it needed one. I call this place and the lady who answered was very nice and patient with me. I was able to get an appointment within an hour. When I arrived l, I asked Ben that i had a couple of issues with the car and if they could assist. They ended up fixing the window problem and gave me such affordable quotes to fix the leakage. He was patient and understanding about the things I have had to fix. read more

I was shopping around with a few different repair shops to find somewhere to take my girlfriend's Mini. It had been having some major problems for a few months that really needed to be addressed, but I knew would be ridiculously expensive to have fixed at the Mini dealer (especially based on past experiences with $2000+ quotes). I called Ben and it was immediately apparent that he was very knowledgeable and eager to help with the issues we were experiencing. He offered to take the car the same day I called, and assured me it could be done the same day. It turned out we couldn't take the car in until the following week, but it was still mind-blowing to hear he expected the repair work to take less than a day, considering the complexity of the task. The day of the repair arrived- she took in the car, he confirmed that the issues I had mentioned over the phone were indeed present, and in just one afternoon everything was finished. He even washed the car, and changed a couple light bulbs for free. The repairs also included an extensive 3 year 36,000 mile warranty, which I thought was really impressive. In summary, our experience with Ben from beginning to end could not have been more pleasant. I'd recommend his shop to any of my friends, and would even consider buying a Mini for myself knowing I'd have Ben's shop to turn to in times of need! read more

Amazing service! Don't even bother with the Dealer if you have a Mini! They can take care of ALL your Mini needs! Brought my 2008 Mini Cooper S with 114k miles for a check engine light, possible timing chain rattle and oil leak. I was helped promptly despite being 20 mins late! Codes were checked but no problems were found! And was on my way in less than an hour! Give them a call! Kathy is the nicest person ever, and Jeff was super knowledgeable and explained and showed me everything! The leak ended up being something that can be taken care of down the road!
