I asked Able if he can replace my master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake hoses which I had purchased brand new for my 51 Plymouth. Abel originally said he would charge me 450.00, I called a week later to check progress, I was told I need another wheel cylinder, one of the new ones is not good. I take him a new wheel cylinder, a couple weeks later he says it's ready, NOW price is 950.00, just to install parts I purchased ? SMH. Im just happy my brakes are fixed. mind you I have to tow it because it's on non op, my AAA will not cover the tow, he finally agrees to help me with 50.00 since I gave them my last dollar. His partner Frank drives it out of the shop to the tow truck, I'm trusting my brakes are good. When the tow truck driver drops it off in my driveway, I back it up almost crashing into my garage if I didn't pump the hell out of it. Good thing my trash cans were in the way. I called Abel to inform him that I have no brakes. A week later he comes back to check it and tells me I need a new master cylinder, for me to return this one. I can not return it because he threw away the cap that came with it. I'm back at square one with no brakes and 950.00 gone. All I can say is beware. read more
