For our main course, I had the Rigatoni with fennel sausage, rucola, lemon & chili and my husband had the Steak Frites with aspen hanger steak, fresh cut frites & bearnaise sauce. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and very attentive. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and it's clear they put a lot of care into what they do. The seating is outdoors in a nice patio area. Inside there is a bakery with yummy looking breads, cakes, muffins, croissants, coffees & more. This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood & definitely a place I'll be coming back to! Please be advised that there is little or no parking in their back lot but street parking is available. The yummies inside or worth the seeking a parking space. I recommend this neighborhood gem.

Bakery Review - solid pastries and coffee, but one pastry I had previously and recalled being a stand out, was not great the next time I got it, so what seems like it should be consistently good is perhaps not. Restaurant Review - very fussy table policy...there were at least 6 tables open and they wouldn't seat 2 out of 3 of our party until all of us were there. I get it if you're busy/have a waitlist, but to make us stand there while the table we eventually had sat empty the entire time we waited was a little annoying. Then, at the end of our meal, they told us our time at the table had expired. Really? In terms of the food, it was fine, nothing to write home about. It was more the service that was so off putting. The coffee was cold when served. At the end of the meal our server asked if we wanted desert, and when we asked for a desert menu he just said "Oh, you need to just go inside and look." It could have been worded more appropriately to say something like "We have great pastries and treats inside if you have room for desert" rather than "Would you like desert?", which leads to a dead end since he didn't offer any. And after reading other reviews, I wonder if we would have been allowed to eat those pastries at the table anyway? I'm in the area frequently, but will try other places going forward after these last couple of disappointing visits.

It was just ok. The Dona had no distinct flavor to it. Just plain dough pastry with almonds on top. Was not worth the $9.50. I'm glad I tried this place but I probably won't be back.

The decor is cozy and chic, and I like that they kept it spacious instead of cramming a ton of tables and chairs in. I especially loved the little table lamps! Our server was very nice and helpful when we had questions. Caesar salad: I LOVED this. Perfect balance of flavors with perfect crunch. Word of warning is that it is anchovy heavy (including anchovy filets on top), so if you like to pretend the anchovy aspect of Caesar salads doesn't exist, this might not be for you! Roasted chicken: Loved the crunch on this too, and the salad and polenta were nice additions. I think the polenta was my favorite part of this dish lol. Kale pistou pizza (asked for no onions): My least favorite dish. We didn't realize it was vegan but as someone who generally likes vegan food, it just lacked flavor and felt very dry overall. The sourdough crust was good, at least. Peach mess dessert: Omg, the star of the show! Such an amazing dessert top to bottom, I loved the mix of textures and flavors. I could eat this every day! I probably would've given this 4 stars due to the pizza being that bland, but the dessert really elevated this whole meal. Can't wait to see all their different menus throughout the seasons! I hope they add a happy hour soon and I hope to see the return of their patio at some point!

Industrial modern interior. Spacious with 20(?) tables. Partners opted for the 2 egg breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly as ordered. One ordered an omelet. Beautifully made. Would make Jacques Pepin or Thomas Keller proud. Thick sliced bacon. Thick sliced multigrain toast. Small side of spring mix salad adorned with watermelon radish. Very nice entree if you're an egg lover. Shared the French fries. They're like the ones my grandma made. Thick sliced potatoes deep fried. Crispy outside. Soft inside. Brings back pleasant memories. Get these if you're a French fry fan. The mushroom dip (think French dip with variety of sautéed mushroom in lieu of beef) was GREAT! Mushroom not overcooked, Muenster cheese draped atop. Crusty baguette bread. Although the dipping sauce was vegan based, the roasted mushroom base added enough umami for a deeply flavored dip. My only complaint was the clusters of oyster mushrooms were laid horizontally following the length of baguette. Which presents well but was a bit challenging to bite through. I dunno, maybe my teeth aren't sharp. Overall an outstanding dish. So my dilemma now is when to return to try the other menu items which didn't make my first cut. The Chicken Curry is one of their newer empanadas and has diced chicken thighs cooked in mild spicy curry and coconut milk, steamed rice, bell peppers, onions, and cilantro.
