Awful. Girls behind the Drive-Thru Window and Speaker had such an attitude and seemed not to care too much about the job itself or taking my families order. I asked for a moment so my family could decide what were going to order and began being yelled at to "Order when I'm ready!" And than continued to take my order as if I was bothering her or wasting her time.. I got to the window, paid and waited for my food. I can see the heavier set white girl that was in the speaker practically throw my trays in a bag and swung it out the window to me with "Here you go." ..I asked for a couple sauces and she jus throws them in the bag right infront of me almost completely missing the bag and said "Have a nice day." Then slammed the Drive-Thru window in my face. She gave me 2 sauces for 3 trays on top of it all... Never wasting my money there again! read more

They gave me one charge receipt with a total. They're supposed to tape individual receipts on the top of each tray meal but of course they left that off. Overcharged me at least $5. Window and counter people most always have an attitude. If you're getting takeout, check your order before you go because 1 out of 3 times it's completely wrong. read more

So I've been to this cookout a few times and the food is OK. It's fast food. So of course the quality isn't wonderful. But assess food goes my kids are happier with cookout than anywhere else. For just over five dollars you can get a full meal and a drink so it's way cheaper than most of the other fast food places. For example tonight we got large baskets with chicken strips a corndog fries and floats. Three large chicken strips a ton of fries and a corndog and a float what more can you get for five dollars. Be prepared to have your soul crushed by the young female (dang, I wish I would have gotten your name) taking your order. I've been here 5 to 6 times and I enjoyed fhe food every time I went! The hamburgers are always fresh hot and tasty, so are the sides! But there drive-through is horrible usually all the time! You're better off just going inside and getting your food. read more

We were driving down the road and wanting a quick bite, not caring if it was considered healthy or not at this point, and saw this place. They were quick friendly nice, and the food was actually really good. The price of the food was great as well. We were cook out fans long before this one opened. We travel to Rock hill often, and would stop for cheap chargrilled deliciousness. You seriously can't go wrong with a combo under 5$. I'm giving this one 4 stars, because their drive thru is awkward, and hard to navigate through. I like the burgers, my husband always gets the bbq sandwich. You get a lot of food for the price which is great, the burgers taste great, the shakes are great and we love the hush puppies. The one problem is I love cheese on my burgers, real cheese and they don't have that. This place is garbage. All they care about is speed, and in so the quality ceases to exist. 69 seconds or less for lunch, and after, 79 seconds. The employees become Pavlovian in nature, due to the reprimands that come from not being fast. In doing so, to acheive times, they cheat if they have to. Cooking the "grilled" chicken in fry oil. Cooking fried products for less time than they are supposed to, or keeping products up for too long, making them less than fresh. Don't touch the chili until after 4pm. The chili during lunch is the leftover chili from the day before and doesn't get switched out until they run out. Same thing goes for the cheese sauce. Their serving issues aside, as of late every trip made here has been terrible. Rarely get my order right. I'm usually missing an item or got the wrong item. Hushpuppies are notoriously burnt, as are my bacon and grilled onions. Shakes are never full, and my food is usually not made to order. And one for the road... They market their bar-b-que as fresh. The bar-b-que comes in frozen tubs that they thaw, that can sit in the freezer for days. Great place to have a good burger and milkshake. I ordered the burger with a side of hush puppies and corndog and got an m&m milkshake. The burger was ok nothing amazing but it hit the spot. The corndog and hush puppies were AMAZING! I had to stop myself from going back and ordering those two things again. This is just another burger joint, nothing special here. The. Crew spend more time talking with each other then attending to the business of food The 1/2 hr to 45 minutes I spent there allowed me to see 2 customers return their burgers because they were not as ordered. My order was a double burger, fries and slaw and a big drink The double burger had an onion slice on it that wasn't able to be bitten it was so old and dry. The fries were the standard cool and floppy, the slaw wasn't made there it was the highlight of the meal. Strongly suggest you stay away, I will. read more

I really enjoy the food but for one please fix the drive through speaker it is sometimes impossible to hear what they are saying in that paper cone speaker someone dug out of a late 80's car from a junkyard, and I don't understand how hard it is to leave mayonnaise off of a burger, last 3 times in a row i asked for no mayo no ketchup only mustard with everything else still on it. I went through the drive thru at 02:30 and ordered a Cajun Sandwich with chili cheese fries and onion rings, however; I wasn't aware that it came with mayonnaise on it and forgot to ask to have it taken off. He very politely took the sandwich back and remade it. Upon returning the sandwich I asked him to remake he turned down my offer for beer (only thing I had to offer because I had no cash.) Don't go here late at night. Placed order at the drive through. I was then stuck for 30 minutes waiting for my food which they got wrong. Three cars behind me left, but I was trapped and couldn't drive away. Definitely choose Sonic next time I want late night food in Lexington. read more

This location is a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good and fresh others it's either cold, or it's old food that they stopped back in the friers or heated in a microwave or something.
