the food was good but unfortunately the experience was awful and degrading. I came to eat a hamburger..not be gawked at and made to feel uncomfortable by the staff. Every time a remotely attractive woman walked in, the staff would literally stare her up and down and then obviously turn to look at one particular worker (in black) laughing and smiling. I'm not confrontational and I understand men look, but when a woman is with her husband and makes eye contact with you multiple times you're staring her down, it's time to stop. It wasn't until recently I experienced Five Guys for the first time. I had hear others say it was overpriced, but after visiting myself -- I have to disagree. Yes the prices are a little higher than a fast food burger, but you can taste the quality! I get the little cheeseburger ($7.29) and cannot finish it. My only wish is that they offered traditional kids meals, because their smallest burger is still way too big for a little tummy! Our 19 month old daughter did however devour her grilled cheese. Also, one order of fries will feed an entire family! Definitely our new go to spot when we're in the mood for a good burger. read more

Used to be ok, but today was the last hamburger I will eat at this restaurant in Lexington SC. The staff always overcooks the fries. Fries are one of the signature menu items. I know people complain about their prices compared to other fast food burger places but the quality is so much higher. $11 for a double cheeseburger much larger and with broader selection of toppings is not so bad. They are super generous with their fries and a small fry can feed two. read more

Love the burgers and fries as well as the hot dogs. I could just sit and eat the peanuts as a meal! However, I think the pricing needs to be looked at as $13.50 seems a bit high for a 1/4 lb burger, fries, and a drink. read more

Consistently a bad experience with this location, placed a mobile order for pick up, got home it's made incorrectly and missing things. Placed my order for a lemonade and water cup, a little cheeseburger and a regular cheeseburger with a large fry light salt. I watched the woman dump a ton of salt on the fries. When I attempted to correct her she told me no no not too much salt you're good. I said no she argued I said the heck with it just give me my food can I please have ketchup and vinegar. I was told that due to Covid they were not allowed to hand out packets of vinegar or catch up. And then went to try to go get our drinks of which one machine was completely out of order and the other did not have water nor did it have lemonade nor was there Coke and there was no sweet tea to be had. This is the first time I've been to a Five Guys in a few years. The quality was pretty good! I got a double bacon cheese burger and fries. I got mine all the way, with mushrooms, lettuce, pickles, and mayo. Not bad! The sandwhich was pretty large in size, too. The fries were good, but lacked any seasoning or much salt. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The issue comes with the price, unfortunately. One burger is 9.95! And they don't do combos, so a regular size fry is another 4.95!! Add 2 large drinks, and my total was just over 21 dollars! Absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, the food is good, but not THAT good, and I'll probably stay away a few more years. Not sure how chains like this stay up and running. Potatoes don't cost that much! read more

This is our "go-to" Five Guys location. Although the Irmo location is closer, we drive over to Lexington for this. This location is cleaner and generally friendlier. Fives Guys is one of the better chain burger joints. However, we went there today for take out. It is generally good, but the patties were dry. Usually they are juicy. Not sure what the deal was. I get the exact same huge amazing burger every time I visit Five Guys. I'm a huge fan of getting their burgers to go because they wrap the burger in foil and I feel like the flavors get to hang out together and really get to know each other which really enhances the flavor. Their bacon is always cooked just right, not too floppy, not too crunchy, which gets huge points for me because most places overcook their bacon. Additionally, this is the perfect hangover burger. Tried and true method to really help you perk up! Please note, the "little burger" means it's only one Patty, the regular burgers are two patties...I made this "mistake" while ordering delivery from Postmates and got a burger with three patties...I happily consumed my burger but my pants needed to be unbuttoned by the time I was done. Five Guys is the BEST fast food burger around. I did a side by side comparison with Smash Burger and five Guys won by a landslide. Tender. Juicy. Thick. Best burger joint in town, hands down. When I want a good burger and great fries, five guys is where I am headed. Their portion sizes are great and filling! The amount of toppings and condiments available are more than most. I normally go for a cheeseburger all the way but you can add additional toppings without additional charges, always a plus.
