    a hamburger and french fries

Definitely a locals place. Clean restaurant with a friendly staff. Great tasting burgers and fries for a reasonable price. This place is better than the franchise with a similar name.

This was not the What-A-Burger I was looking for but I sure am glad I found it. Its small and cozy the staff is very friendly and most importantly the food is delicious. The food had that nice comfortable greasy spoon feel without being greasy. The portions were good the food was tasty. The fried shrimp had a nice crunch and good flavor and the rib eye sandwich was simple but it stands well on its own. The restaurant is small and though well kept you can tell that the years have take a bit of a toll on the facilities. Overall a great find if your looking for a good quick bite to eat.

I haven't been here in ages, but the burgers are still very good. The young lady taking my order was very friendly. And I swear they have the best French fries of any where else I have ever gone.

Cheeseburgers are always good, fries are cooked well. Quick service. This is our "go-to" place to eat when we are running Saturday errands

Just a fast food burger joint. Not really good, but edible. No better than any other fast food option.

Burger was dry, very thin patty cooked to death. There's other places to go for a better burger.

Our group has 13 and fortunately we had 11 today, which probably was about the most they could've managed at that table. Waiter was great. Took our drink orders and burger orders. Had a variety of orders (Poncho, Classic, Tuesday's Special Ron Swanson's), with regular fries and sweet potato fries. Burgers were very good, everyone happy with the exception of one burger getting dropped on the floor, resulting in that person waiting for about 10 minutes to get a replacement. Meanwhile he chomped on some of his fries. Overall food was great. Only issue is with the loud music. Music is good music, just way to loud. Everytime we go here nobody can here each other talk across the table. (We always sit at the big corner table on the right as you walk in). Fries were okay....nothing special. Burgers are the thing. Wish they would offer some home fries along with the regular and sweet potato fries. Only complaint we have is the loud music. Just tone it down about 3db.

I've always had Zestos as one of my favorite three places in Cola area for chicken and it seems like I swap each one of those places back and forth between #1 and #3. Zestos was usually my #1. I've told many people it's the best chicken in the world, but I've always thought that it was a bit too salty. After my wife and I had the chicken I realized this was the saltiest that I'd ever tasted. It's in the batter, not the chicken. It was so salty she couldn't finish her piece. I fiinished a breast bit saved the two thighs for the next day. First time ever that I thought it was almost too salty to eat. I've moved it down to #3 on my list and it'll probably stay there after this. I don't consider KFC, Popeyes, Bojangles in the running between my 3 top chicken places, just because they're more fast food and the chicken is different (although I like Popeyes and KFC a lot). But I almost would take those two over Zestos if the chicken was like it was the other day.

The restaurant itself wasn't much better--the dining area felt dirty, and the overall lack of attention to cleanliness made it hard to enjoy the meal. The staff wasn't rude, but they didn't seem to care that customers were leaving disappointed. It's unfortunate because every restaurant has bad days, but this felt like a place that has stopped trying altogether. At this point, it might be better for the owners to close the doors, regroup, and rethink the business rather than continue damaging their reputation. I can't recommend eating here in its current state.

Rush's has always been my favorite as a little girl with their fried chicken baskets to the hotdogs but on this go round I got a Junior Cheeseburger Deluxe Basket no slaw double fries. Not a big fan of coleslaw unless it is all mayo and salt and pepper. No sugar in the slaw please. The burger was fresh but the bun was a little crumbly. For me it's always the fresh fries though that keep me coming back for more. Thank God they listen to customers and went back to the original fries from the crinkle. I'm not sure if they were shortstaffed, but it definitely took a long time to get our food and apparently they were waiting for one particular sandwich to come out to bring the entire table so everybody's buns were completely fried on the top and needed to be replaced from the heat lamp. One person in our party got fries and didn't ask for him and of course they were on the bill, the Pepsi was flat and the waters were leaking all over the table. Our server was extremely sweaty and may need to consider a towel or something as he is greeting and serving tables. Food was OK. We had the smash burger, the BLT Smashburger, a grilled honey chicken plate the pineapple burger, a BLT type sandwich and the K-pop Korean chicken sandwich. We may consider giving it a try again. The chicken sandwich was really good and so were the Parmesan truffle fries, but I'm not convinced it's worth that kind of wait.
