I just didn't love it. Cash's Chicken feels like a missed opportunity. We are in the South, and fried chicken of any sort, whether it be wings, tenders or tradition chicken, it needs to be great. These are pre breaded tenders from Sysco prepared in various ways; like a hot dog, etc. a little creativity could have made up for the quality. But that fell flat as well. The setting is like a 1980s McDonald's, but in blue, and the tables and self-serve drink station were not terribly clean. Service was slow, condiments used up. The food was good and the staff we talked to was friendly. I do enjoy knowing they are local and the restaurant was clean, inside and out. Must say my wife enjoyed it more than I did. I like a good crunchy breading and she doesn't. So if you like light breading then this is for you. We both agreed there is nothing that sets them apart from other chicken strip places, except the croissant. A simple sauce/dipping bar would give this place a simple edge over other places. First the negative: The chicken tenders are tiny compared to other restaurants. On the plus side it is clean. The chicken is tiny but taste good. The people are nice and service is great. When you first walk in you're greater with an amazing dining room. I love the theme of old America and really appreciate the salute to our armed forces on one of the walls. The chicken tenders are delicious and the sauces are all amazing. I highly recommend the cash's sauce and the house. The salads are also really good and the ranch is some of the best I've ever had. And don't get me started on the rolls, the honey butter is amazing. As far as sides go I love the fries and the mashed potatoes are extremely good, I haven't had a chance to try the slaw but everything I have tried has been delicious.
